I would like to preface the body of my post with this caveat: I am not a Muslim. In fact, I am an atheist, and I was formally christian and I have no affiliation with Islam whatsoever. The only affiliation I have with Islam, is that the people who subscribe to it are humans like myself, and as such, they don't deserve to be smeared, stereotyped, and painted in a negative light, to further an agenda. That's essentially why I decided to create this thread - To disillusion people from the lies that they have been made to believe about Islam and about terrorism.

I am not going to bore anyone with a long op. What I'd do however, is that I will allow anyone who wants contribute to air their own arguments about why they think the premise of my post is wrong, or why they think Islamic terrorism is an inherently Islamic phenomenon and I'll refute EVERY argument.

Mods, please don't move this to the Muslim section. It would defeat its purpose.

see bro, because God is omniscient does not mean God will pretend All is fine with men when it not For example, in Genesis 6:6 , the Lord was sorry because of the rampant sin that mankind had fallen into. so, even though God knew what was going to happen, He was sad that human beings were thinking only about how to sin more and more. Does God prohibit killing because it's bad or is killing bad because God prohibited it?

If it's the former, it means there is a higher reason or morality than God.

If it's the latter, it means God acts without reason or purpose i.e. insanity

God is so meticulous with what goes on in this little speck of cosmic dust because of His attributes . They are :

1. God is omnipresent . Being omnipresent means that God is everywhere at the same time . He is not confined to a temporal location . God is everywhere . He is conscious and observes even the most picayune activity that occurs inside and outside our universe . God knows what is going on in Jupiter , in Saturn , in the Andromeda galaxy , in the ring galaxy , tadpole or whirlpool galaxy because of His omnipresence. He has knowledge of the behaviors of even the tiniest molecules in the farthest galaxies .

2. God is omnipotent . God is powerful enough to do anything logically possible in accordance to His nature . And paying so close attention to how we live our lives is one of the millions of logically possible ways He proves his omnipotence .

3. God is the pinnacle of moral perfection : God is good . God is the source of moral goodness . And since God is good , evil which is the departure from good is despised by Him .

4. God has the Freedom of Will . Yes , God can will anything and it will be so . And since this epitome of moral goodness , the omnipotent and omnipresent God has decided to be so punctilious about the morality of humans who live in this little speck of cosmic dust - our abode , earth - then who are we whom He created to describe it as 'petty' and 'shallow-minded' ?

So there you have it folks . It is not petty or shallow-minded for God to be so meticulous about what we do with our lives even to the most insignificant things we do . God's aforementioned attributes make it possible for such to be so . That's His nature . Those attributes are simply identical to his being and there's nothing you can do about it . Wailing and complaining won't stop God from being God .

The Obafemi Awolowo University Department of Student Affairs (OAU DSA) today 4th of June 2017 made a special release stating that all religious activities should be suspended in the halls of residence.
The release also commanded all students to either pray in their rooms or go to the religious ground.

The "Special Release" which was all in upper case read thus:

"This is to bring to the attention of all students that all religious activities is hereby suspended in halls of residence until further notice.

Any student that fails to comply will face immediate disciplinary action which may include revocation of studentship and expulsion.
Students are advised to pray in their individual rooms or move to the religious centre"

The DSA has wasted no time in executing this new order. There are reports that some members of the DSA and school security went to the two major hall mosques (Awolowo hall mosque and Fajuyi hall mosque) and destroyed all the temporary structures in it after sending the Students out of them.

The religious centre is fifteen to twenty minutes walk from the 'Awo' hall which is the most populated hall of residence on campus. Taking such a walk five times daily might be more of difficulty than ease for most Muslim students and many Muslim students have seen it as an attempt to stop them from observing their daily prayers.

However, there have been no reports of similar demolitions in any of the several 'hall' secretariats allocated the Christian fellowships.

It should be remembered that G.O Akinola, the Dean of the DSA has not been the best friend of the Muslim students since her arrival in office.
She once called the hall mosques a brothel.Could this be a 'diplomatic' step she is taking to eliminate those "brothels" from the school.

There have been claims and accusations of a 'christianization' agenda going on in the school, with the faculty of pharmacy not having any Muslim lecturer and many departments having just one or two Muslim lecturers.

i sometimes wonder why my neighbours don't attend church service every Sunday. they are not Jewish infact the family living next to my apartment dedicated their baby not long ago and their was an afterchurch party in the compound. but every sunday u can hear them making loud noises in their house all through the day.
