The 34-year-old singer has been pictured playing football with his son, Cameron and he even got a tattoo quite similar to that of Barcelona forward, Lionel Messi during a vacation in Morocco last year. Outgoing Kogi State governor Idris Wada has decided to give the state a huge gift before he leaves.Gov. Idris Wada yesterday launched the ultra-modern Lokoja mega terminal. Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo state attended the ceremony which took place in the state capital on Friday, January 21.Speaking at the event,Gov. Mimiko said the project will change the idea of what parks used to be in the country from a place meant for thugs to a terminal for interstate transport. He said...... “For a long time in Nigeria, Motor Parks typically convey the picture of dingy havens, where all manner of vices reign supreme. Touting, thuggery, violence, drugs, alcohol intoxication, child labor are a few associations many people have with motor parks in Nigeria.” “Strategic investment in infrastructure aimed at changing and shaping the orientation of critical stakeholders in the public transport system such as commercial vehicle operators is not only a commendable way to go, but the only one. This Mega terminal will aid in providing operators with the right psyche. And with the undeniable rise of terrorists and retrogressive elements targeting public spaces, a controlled and secured environment like this becomes imperative. I am indeed delighted that the government of Kogi state stayed true to its course of people-oriented programmes despite the extremely challenging economic times for the country.” In his remark,Gov. Wada said the terminal will help solve the problem of unorganized parking of vehicles in the town. “This terminal is the flagship project of the transport masterplan, which was conceptualized by this administration for Kogi state. Facilities available at the terminal include loading bays, parking areas, shops, clinic, banking services, washing bays etc. Facilities like the motel and filling station are currently under development and will be managed in conjunction with the private sector under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) law that was passed by earlier under this Administration. The transport terminal will solve the problem of indiscriminate parking and disorganized motor park activities around the town that have contributed to creating traffic gridlocks in Lokoja. Other aspects of the transport master plan for the state include the Lokoja subsidized bus service, the Lokoja interstate franchise service, the Lokoja intra-city bus service and water transportation service. ” “This project is in keeping faith with my belief that as a state we must continue to look for ways to shore up the revenue base of the state. My position has been further buttressed by the economic reality of these present times wherein our dwindling allocation as a state often even falls short of our recurrent expenditures. Till date, this administration has entered into about 42 PPP arrangements nearing various stages of completion – Top of which is the 11-storey Kogi house project in Abuja” Source: http://www.trezzyblog.com/2016/01/gov-idris-wada-commissions-ultra-modern.html

After operating in plain clothes (mufti) for a long time, the officers of the much dreaded Police Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, now have their own uniforms. The uniforms were unveiled yesterday by Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Fatai Owoseni on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police. In the past there have been several cases of impersonation and clashes between the public and officers of SARS. Those are challenges which the new uniform is expected to solve. According to Owoseni, the new uniform, which has unique numbers for the Federal SARS as well as the various states, was introduced in furtherance of efforts by the Inspector General of Police ( IGP ) Solomon Arase to keep his promise of an accountable police and put an end to the negative police image due to the actions and conducts of personnel of the squad. Asides professionalising SARS by splitting it into the Striking and Investigation departments to curb excesses of the operatives, Owoseni said the IGP introduced the set of uniforms so that operatives can be identified. “The IGP came up with the outfits in which the public can easily identify and recognise SARS operatives when in operation. He wants to give them decent identity by taking them out of the practice of just wearing anything, thereby checking impersonation. “Henceforth, any police person wearing just a black t-shirt and claim to be a SARS personnel is not. This uniform will also help check the excesses of illegal policemen. We are improving our policing method to be public friendly,” said Owoseni.

As narrated by a Trezzy Blog reader @ariikee: “I was rushed to general hospital marina str, the emergency actually. I was bleeding from the nose and mouth to my surprise all this so called doctors and nurses were running from me like I had some kinda of strange disease, I could hear in my pain one student doc telling the other don’t touch her, while the rest were saying they had laser fever or wat Eva it’s called not me )and he had to use 3 gloves each to check my blood pressure before he then said omg it’s your blood pressure that’s making you bleed. It didn’t end like this,I got to the hospital 8:pm n all this their rubbish continued till 10 pm. the annoying part was 3 hours later they started asking my mum all manner of stupid questions, which was suppose to be the first question before all this rubbish attitude….you guys won’t also believe they asked my mum to go buy all manner of syringe, and many other things which one of it is that of a drip which they never gave me till now n they Inserted this shit on my hand for no reason at the pic I m posting, I woke up this morning only to be ignored by 5 doctors coming in and out of the ward, until I asked one wat is going on here ,then he replied your files says you have been attended to,which i angrily said NO, Then he left and returned and said the nurse on duty wrote the rubbish. 10 mins later two student doc came to check my blood pressure at abt 8:40 and the story is it’s a little bit still high, my question is what’s wrong with our hospitals in Nigeria? Why do they not value lives ? I didn’t know that other patients family was watching the scene performed by this so called doctors towards me. You can imagine it’s 9:12am wat hospital cleans wards by this time , likewise the rest rooms and bathroom. I’m so disappointed to be honest, I haven’t been to the hospital in 15 yrs and this is the stupid treatment I get trusting general hospital is said to be the best place to go. I’m writing this in anger cos if I had died I probably might not be able to tell the story. We need help in our hospitals. No good bed spread. Fans are dirty. We need help.” Too bad for our health system Source: http://www.trezzyblog.com/2016/01/woman-writes-about-her-experience-at.html
