That's the best I think. Newmum0615: A very annoying situation. Aren't they supposed to be more comfortable that the funds are out of your reach till after your application is approved? Since when has Tbills become a problem? With even a July and August 2018 end date sef.
You may have two options. First, you may want to liquidate the Tbills and have the raw cash in your account. Not a desirable option as you will pay a steep penalty for pre-maturity liquidation. CBN does not make it easy. It's just to discourage incessant liquidation. Decide if you want to pay the price. Secondly, the option which I would go for if I was to, is to take all the documents you are able to gather from your banks and write a nicely worded LOE explaining that the Tbills are expected to mature in about 2 months and that the processing time from when you get the nomination and when you finally get PPR till even landing is supposed to exceed August. Even a bingo is supposed to know that the Tbills will mature before that time naa. Try and work with your banks to give you something detailed that you can work with at least. Which kain ADR is that one sef? Let's know which one you decide and how it goes sha. codebrew85: Hi all,
Please I need some advice on how best to tackle this issue.
OINP is currently processing my application for nomination and so I got this ADR to provide more info on my proof of fund. |

So after explaining the whole EE and PR process to the same person for like the 5th time, I finally used admission process to explain:
IELTS = GCE/NECO ECA = WASSC Apply for EE = Apply for JAMB Express Entry Draw = write JAMB ITA = Letter of Admission Apply for PR = Clearance Landing = Matriculation |

1. For proof of employment for the work experience claimed for points, do you have other means of justifying your employment? 2. For POF, you must have submit a statement of account proving you have the required funds. Fresty: this is me sampling opinions o! please what is the implication if one doesn't have a six months statement of account or payslips for six months because salary was/is paid via cash... what does the person do? are payslips really necessary?? thank you in anticipation of a favourable response. lol. |

Lots of changes coming o! 1. Reduction of time for application from June 26 now 60 days not 90 days meaning we should get all our documents ready on time. 2. Biometrics to start from July 31. smslive2: New Deadline |

Congrats! Tolz451: To God be the Glory!!!
This journey started February 2015 but today PPR came through.
Made IELTS on the 4th attempt (14th Oct 2017) ITA - 20 Dec 2017 AOR - 23rd Feb 2018 MEP - 5th March 2018 IP2 - 6th March 2018 RPRF - 24th March 2018 (Paid with IRCC Requesting) GCMS Notes - filled with IRCC on 31st May 2018 having observed that people were getting PPR few weeks after ordering GCMS notes. Yet to get the notes itself. Ghost Update - 18th June 2018 PPR - 25th June 2018
Challenges
1. I made IELTS at 4th attempt (Listening showed me pepper! 7.5 until the last attempt) 2. 70% POF was resident in my spouse's account 3. Got married 6th Dec 2014 but the marriage certificate given by the church looked dodgy (no certificate number), also, we didn't do a court marriage. My wife's change of name document wasn't done till April 2015. Considering all these, we had to book a date at Ikoyi Marriage Registry on 28th Dec 2018 (after obtaining ITA). 4. While creating the Profile, I included my wife's work experience but we had to remove it and include it in personal history Post- ITA as her employer wouldn't give the Reference Letter in CIC format.
I really can't tell it all but just using this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who has contributed in making this forum so helpful.
Special thanks to all those who respond to questions irrespective of those questions being repetitive or plain stupid.
Thanks so much @kontagious.
God bless you all.
I pray it shall end in praise for everyone!!!
Congratulations to all ITA recipients!!! |
