Lol @ the bolded. I can imagine the excitement. happytbaby: You may need to come to Nigeria and then submit your passport for COPR,except your stay in UAE is not expiring soon. Do not be like the brother that forgot he had an exam for which the only accepted ID was international passport. He got so excited that he went and submitted his passport. Needless to say; he did not get to write his exam. |

Pls don't give up! I think that writing is the toughest part of IELTS. When I wrote mine, it thought it was so great and that the score was going to be the best of the four modules. for where... I barely escaped with 7. Enitan007: I'm really sad right now with what IELTS is doing to me
1st attempt: 8.5,8.5,6.5,7.0 (LRWS) BC - Requested for EOR but no luck 2nd attempt:8.5,8.5,6.5,7.0 (LRWS) MOD - Requested for EOR but no luck with writing but speaking to 7.5 3rd attempt: 8.5,8.0,6.5,7.5 (LRWS) MOD - I'm thinking of another EOR
This is exhausting but i'm not giving up. |

Have you used the CRS tool to know your current score? Once you get your ECA, you can definitely enter the pool with the current IELTS score and later upgrade it when you get a better IELTS result. It helps with the tie-breaking rule: If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.olufemi2211: Good morning fam...so down this morning..Just checked my IELTS result. Not what I had hoped for. LSRW - 8.5, 7.5, 6.5, 7.0.
Still waiting for my ECA. Should get that next week. Please advice oo..Should I dive into the pool, while I prepare for another IELTS.

Please avoid quoting the above post I noticed that the antispambot banned every single person that quoted that post.
Thank you. |

See simplified list below: https://www.nairaland.com/3999848/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled#59640917Note: IELTS is currently N75,000 and there will be lots of ancillary costs like cost of Nigerian passports, courier and travelling. The application fee should be the "visa fees". You pay post-ITA and can pay twice (processing $550 and rprf $490 per adult). flourisher: Please I really need my kindhearted ogas to help me on these questions cos I have been reading from page 0 but I am still confused Please at what point will I pay the application fee? Is it during the process or after arrival? What is the estimate of all you spent outside the Pof? Please I will appreciate if I get a breakdown of the amount and stages at which you paid them. Thank you |

Personal opinion: Use the passport as it is and raise an affidavit if any of your other documents bear the other name. Replacement of name on passport na another project with NIS. tolxitility: Thanks for your prompt response, I have gone through allvthe links above,I must confess it was really helpful, but do you feel it's needed to change my surname on my international passport if I have the opportunity to do? Cos am so concerned, my marriage certificate reads another surname from the international passport,I just wanted a smooth application process. Your personal opinion now. God bless |

Any job you list you should be able to defend with evidence. Since you have gotten your 3yrs and the jobs are pre-uni, I think you should leave it alone. SideChic: Hello House, Please enlighten a sister. I have a work experience from 2015 till date which is over 3yrs experience and that’s my required NOC but my challenge is that I have worked in 2 different places pre-university from 2011-2014, do I need to state the pre-university work experience in my work history? plus I can’t get any documents from my pre-uni jobs. Please note that this jobs started full time during university strikes (u know as naija be) and ended up switching to part time whenever school resumes... Please help!!!!!!!!!
Ps: I have used the 2 pre-uni Jobs to apply for a US and Canadian visitors visa before, the earlier was issued and the later was denied.
Thanks |

Hi, 1. For ECA, the name you use should be the same as the one on your certificate. 2. For all else, your international passport is key. Refer to my post earlier in the page. Although everybody's experience is unique, the summary of how people got over names challenge is use of affidavits. CanadianBae: Hi all,
I'm a newbie. Still waiting for my ECA to be completed but in the meantime I'd like to confirm something.
The name on my birth certificate is Julian Chukwuamaka Oloruntoba but the name I've in every of my certificates (WAEC, BSc, MSc and international passport) has been Julian Amaka Oloruntoba. I just want to know if this won't be a problem in my PR journey.
P.S: I used the birth certificate without any issue when applying for my UK student visa. |

Mm. Even with the poor writing, it should fly. Age is good and you have a relative. Use the CRS to run scenarios: She as the PA without adding your IELTs and ECA, with adding your ECA alone, with adding your IELTS alone (use possible scores) and with adding both your IELTS and ECA. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.aspCheck if any of the score is 440 or above, that is the lowest cut-off so far this year. Vblossom: Goodday all, My wife IELTS Result is out with score of L 7.5, W 6.0, R 7.0 , S 7.0. She has over 5 years of work experience, hold a bachelors degree, less than 30 years old, a Nurse,we have a relative in canada. Please whats her hope in applying for federal skilled programe. secondly should she go ahead to create a profile with that score or it would be preferable i write IELTS too . Advise please noble ones in the house |

Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 4 by joo2018: 4:17pm On Jul 16, 2018 |
Bros, 1. Why are you redoing IELTS when you have a LAA? 2. Only my opinion: Don't change facts after application. Your CRS score is the same whether you change it or not, right? Walegy: (1)House, I just received LAA to apply to Manitoba for nomination but I wish to redo IELTS. if I rewrite, can I update it on my EE profile having it in mind that it was my crs score they used to send me LAA.
(2)Also, I started work July 2012, and I filled July as my start date on EE but on my certificate, it was dated Nov. Having received LAA nw, can I edit that part on my EE to Nov as long as it still gives me the same crs score?
Pls if I do either of the 2, am I good to go or not? Pls help here... |
