losprince: Once upon a time in America 10/10 - Perfect in every way.
I never thought I would see a picture I would hold in the same reverence as the godfather. The cinematography, the pacing, the acting and the resonating scores that just won't leave your head after you hear them are all reminiscent of the perfection Francis Ford Coppola achieved with the two godfathers.
Unlike most gangster films, this movie depicts its characters from their adolescent years, you get to see the environment that shaped them into what they become and circumstances beyond their control that messes up their upbringings. It's about the characters, every one of them has a soul and could be felt throughout the film. It explores friendship and betrayal perfectly and doesn't shy away from violence and nudity while also portraying the objectification of woman (Feminists aren't going to like the women in this film) from the perspective of the characters it even goes as far as depicting rape in an explicit way.
I don't find the movie lacking in any way, 3 hrs 40 mins long and I already watched it 3 times and counting.
Rest in peace Ennio Morricone (1928 - 2020) A true legend. 1984 film? |

The old Guard.
Expected more when I watched the trailer. Can't say I'm disappointed though. The fight scene were not really that bad. There's a couple very good scenes, loopholes here and there. All the same, not a bad movie.
I rate it 6/10. |

TheSourcerer: Experiment on NewBorns
In the 1960s, researchers at the University of California began an experiment to study changes in blood pressure and blood flow. The researchers used 113 newborns ranging in age from one hour to three days old as test subjects. In one experiment, a catheter was inserted through the umbilical arteries and into the aorta. The newborn’s feet were then immersed in ice water for the purpose of testing aortic pressure. In another experiment, up to 50 newborns were individually strapped onto a circumcision board, then tilted so that their blood rushed to their head and their blood pressure could be monitored. this is despicable. |

naptu2: Babangida planned for his coup well in advance. He knew that the NSO was loyal to Buhari, so he positioned Akilu in DMI to counter NSO. He planted his man in the Brigade of Guards, to neutralise the commander who was loyal to Buhari. Middle level officers don't have the ability to do all these. Interesting. |

In addition, you need to start asking questions about your lineage (both sides) right from the foundation and upbringing. Is there a pattern you have noticed? Are there idol priests or priestesses in your family line? Did you grow up with nuclear family or relatives? Do you regularly eat in the dream?
Etc. Babe Good morning. Like you really believe in this stuff? |

nani667: I expected more from Yoda in that battle tho... I heard he was the baddest, was expecting him to dazzle me with greatness and school Dooku... He actually did. Dooku had to divert Yoda's attention in other to escape. It was glaring if the fight had continued he would have lost. |

8.5 / 10 Onto the next one >> "it is obvious that this contest can not be won by our knowledge of the Force, but by our skill, with the Lightsaber". The above is still one of my best quote in the movie, also that duel was very, very epic. |

Like, I can almost taste their hate and fear.
I guess they are so scared that United may be back. When you're winning and succeeding, people tend to hate. Funny thing is those who hate always tend to be under achievers. |

Atleast looking at it from what we believe marriage is. Like do our parents go from calling themselves married to calling themselves life partners or any fancy or incomprehensible words? Lol. |

Ishilove: Marriage is definitely not for the faint hearted. If you are not prepared to forgive a lot of things then you cannot remain in marriage.
Watching them interact was like watching two friends gist, which is what many couples of these days seem to lack: a core understanding of what marriage is all about. That marriage is not just about sex, glitz and glamour and taking photos. That marriage is HARD WORK, but that work is made easier when there is love, mutual respect, friendship and companionship in the union. These two fought for their marriage and they are still going on strong.
Awon 'marriage is overrated' crew should take note that good news doesn't make an interesting read but bad news of drama, cheating and divorce captivates the attention and panders to the human's innate propensity for scandal and gossip. There are still successful marriages out there, even between younger couples than the Smiths, but since you only read about the troubled ones, you now have the idea that all marriages are like the bad ones you read about online. the truth is you don't need to be married to have what Jada and Will have. Beside, I believe they said they're in an open relationship. So you tell me, how many married couples can afford to be in an open relationship today? |

oyaskii: That's the tenets of an abusive relationship, one partner abuses and trap the other or the abuser makes it extremely difficult for the abused to leave like in case of the movie..btw Cecilia did try to leave (it's literally the first scene in the movie), it was Adrian who wouldn't let go. Seriously how hard is it to leave a relationship. Still wonder why Cecilia didn't report him to the authorities. |

The Invisible Man.
Still don't even know what to say. The movie is not bad, the suspense is there so you just want to know how it ends. Though something is really wrong with Adrian and Cecilia. Like if your marriage isn't working, why not let it go?
It's a 7 for me. |
