PhonesRe: IMEI Thievery; A Nation Of Hypocrites. by joseph1832(m): 9:01am On Sep 09, 2015
Elxandre:
I created this thread with the newly released phone, Infinix Hot 2 in mind.

This is a country that supposedly hates stealing and even go as far as lynching petty thieves.
But we "tweak" and steal the data incentives offered to people who buy phones with their hard earned money.

People defend tweaking to browse Free on our ISPs, with the premise that they are only "revenging" the evil done to them by these service providers, who have refused to provide truly affordable data.

My Question is, why should I buy a phone and meet my data already stolen, when I'm not the ISP that you have your grudge against?

This is synonymous with stealing and corruption, and if you actually campaigned for "change", but still steal incentives from people, you are just another hypocrite.
The Nigerian polity thrive on hypocrisy. Besides, you're only branded a thief if you're caught with your hands inside the cookie jar!.

I don't understand why this alternate moniker craze started; it was never like this. Nairaland probably only has 500,000 members. sad
As in am even amazed the way people have alternate monikers here. They act as if they're getting paid for it.

Stop talking rubbish, it's a fact that the islamic religion expressly permits and encourages sex slaves and there is no parallel in christianity. WhateveR the deeper life pastor did is not based on christian teachings so you can't compare.

OBJ and GEJ..! I don't even know who to blame more. Buh I thing OBJ is deserving of blame than GEJ on this.
OBJ has the primary blame. If he had stood against corruption the way PMB is now doing, Nigeria won't be in this mess.

OBJ built the foundations of corruption in Nigeria, GEJ only built the structure and roofed it.

Christianity EtcRe: I Don't Believe In The Bible But I Believe In God Does That Make Me Less A Xiatn by joseph1832(m): 12:05pm On Sep 08, 2015
fearlesschicken:
I believe in a God who creates the world we are in but I don't believe in the bible does it make me less a christian?

I had an argument with a friend of mine, he keep calling me an athiest because I said the bible is inaccurate and I can't leave my life based on a book with so many errors and contradictions.

I don't believe in all this supernatural stuffs either, like witches and wizards, demons etc or some silly doctorines we have in the bible like women being submissive and a divorcee not allowed to get married etc

I just believe in one thing: love!

So am I less a christian for not beliving the bible and all the other things I mentioned? If am not a christian what am I?

Cc:captainjune,winner01,malvinsguy212,
Johnydon22,hahn,davien, etc
Well if you're not christlike then you're not a christian. The thing is many who go to church and bear christian names think they are christian. So going to church doesn't make one a christian neither does you not believing in the Bible makes you a christian.

If you extol all christlike virtue and not live like christ, you're not a christian. Lemme quote Mahatma Ghandi, "I like you christ, but I do not like your christians, because, your christians do not behave like your christ". The same goes for the muslims also.

PoliticsRe: The Sad Story Of Marilyn Ogar- The Punch by joseph1832(m): 10:51am On Sep 08, 2015
Gboliwe:
This is what the Nigerian press has been reduced to. SMH.

The present SGF publicly screamed it that the PDP was the sponsor of Bokoharam, what did he get in return for that? A juicy job placement. The examples abound of similar incidents.

When the press should be in the fore-front demanding justice for the people of Plateau state, every single one of them have gone deaf, blind and dumb.

No more reports on bomb blasts. And if it were to be that there were none, it would be most appreciated but they have all been bought so nobody wants to report any seeming "anti-governance" event.

If the press is already compromised, this isn't democracy we are in. Na God alone will help us.
Dude you should please keep mute and learn tobe objective. Did GEJ himself not say there are members of Boko Haram inside his government?

And if you have reports of bombs blasts happening anywhere, do feel free to report it if you feel the press aint reporting it.

VINDICTIVE BUHARI

This regime is obviously out on a quest for personal VENDETTA.

Common political wisdom dictates that people like Marylyn Ogar are not supposed to be so openly victimized.

Our own GADDAFI has finally come.
Political wisdom you say? And if she was secretly dealt with people like you are the ones who will wail and rant to the point of no return.

Ms Ogar got what she asked for, plain and simple.
