Going through a few pages backwards, I can't help but wonder about what a kind of world we live in right now, A well planned recommendation for someone that has bleeped quite a number of people's up, if you can't see a pattern here, that's your own cup of tea, I've been on this forum for quite a number of years, as faceless as it is, I have met wonderful people and learnt much more on here, I have never met Protein0 in person and he has served as an escrow for me at least twice for large funds dealings, I've met gidieberry and Noobody in person and has transacted with them on several occasions, when your work is good, you don't have to manipulate people by planning a well written recommendation from a third party profile, If you can't learn from other's mistakes(Example), then you are bound to learn by your own errors(Experience)... The choice is yours!

No you didn't and I'm not condemning anyone either, the phone is damaged beyond repair now, that's certain... All of these is just to avoid others getting into the same kind of situation!

How am I supposed to tell my friends to come on nairaland when he currently has no functional phone at the moment, the phone was still usable when it was sent to Repairguru, only issue was backlight not coming on... I don't have to prove this any more than this because afterall it's not going to bring back the phone, it's completely damaged now... If anyone feels comfortable with transacting with repairguru, Go ahead... But you will always remember about this when something similar happens to you also, I can assure you of that!

thank you genius43 the phone was worked on by an engineer in ibadan before sending it to me and i was updating them every event as it unfold even the phone back glass was not ptoperly fixed when it got to me .pls look at the picture he posted couple with the whatsapp chat he posted and see how i was in touch and updating him
the owner of the phone called me and said he want his phone send to inadan immediately i send it through a bus in ojota on friday and i didn't even hear anything from them only to wake up this moring and see his post online and i quickly called the owner to asked if i have any issue with him and he said no that he didnt send him all that and whe i spoke with the dudue he said thats what he want to do . have sent alot of goods without issue and have also done business without issues and @genius43 you can testify to this base on your referials. thanks for your maturity and non baias intervention

Was the phone decoupled when it got sent to you?.. Answer that question first... The phone spent over 2 months at your place, I don't believe scarcity of parts is the major delay in that, I strongly believe it's your negligence and poor customer relations, the owner of the phone in question is my close friend, I bought the phone for him and even had to pay some of the extra money you required while the phone was at your place, he doesn't have to instruct me to come on here to express my opinion, you can't imagine how sad I was when he got the phone back because you are not here.... And what really prompted my post here is the fact that you claim to get a new motherboard which we paid for and then you sent the phone back to ibadan without the motherboard, even if it's not functional it's your duty to send it altogether

I recommended a friend to Repairguru, for the screen replacement of his redmi Note 7, we bought the screen from him and it got sent to ibadan, On fixing the screen, I got to know that the phone's backlight is having issues but the screen was working, Repairguru asked me to send the phone over to Lagos from Ibadan to fix the backlight for only 5k, Which I did since JUNE 1, after so much excuses from him, I was told the panel has to be changed which I paid additional money for, after so much excuses and delay, he was unable to make the phone work, but to my utmost surprise, Repairguru sent the phone back to my friend few day ago in pieces, phone that was intact and working before we sent it to him(only issue then was the backlight not coming up)... Now the battery is spoilt and the phone is not even usable at all after spending 3 times more than we bargained for earlier... Phone was sent to ibadan without the new panel we paid for and my friend even had to pay for waybill to get his phone in pieces.... I've had dealings with quite some people on this platform that I've never met and it's been wonderful but to be candid, I regret having to deal with this kind of a thing, it's sad really.... My purpose of writing this is just to guide others not to fall in the same pit, So THINK TWICE!
