Usually a gate is an illustration of the strength or quality of a house or the things in it, because it is meant to act as a protector or shield. So the stronger and more qualitative houses including things they contain have stronger and more quality gates.

So the strength or quality of a gate often equates to those of the house and the things inside them.

Therefore "the gates of hell" refer to the full strength and quality of hell and Satan who resides there, hence Jesus meant by that saying that even if Satan comes with everything he has at his disposal against His church, he shall still not prevail (fail).

It's important to note though that the church Jesus spoke of in that case was actually that which He built upon His Words which is the Rock!

In ancient times, most cities and palaces had two gates, the outer gate that acts as a fortification forte and the inner one. In between the two gates is a passageway where decisions are been made. It served as the court, elites sit there to discuss and share ideas. It was where contracts and transactions were made. In recent times, the gates can be likened to the House of Assembly. In summary the gates are where powers and authorities of a city gather to make decisions.

Let us take a look at other places where gates were mentioned in the bible.

1. Daniel was made Prime minister so he sat in the gates of the King ( Dan 2:49).

2. Absalom judged affairs by the gates ( 2 Sam 15:2).

3. Boaz sealed the deal in front of witnesses to marry Ruth in the gates ( Ruth 4:11).

4. Brideprice was paid at the gates (Deut 22:15)

5. Lot met the Angels while sitting in the gates ( Gen 19:1).

6. Mordecai sat at the King's gate , implying he was of high status hence incurring the wrath of his enemies (Esther 2:21, 5:9).

7. Just judgement are done in the gates ( Amos 5:15)

Note also that the noun used here is plural "gates" not a "gate" of hell. Also the verb used "prevail" means to dominate, gain influence over. A physical gate cannot prevail over its enemies. Prevailing is as a result of offensive attack. The work of physical gates rather is defense.

Hence what the passage means is, the actions and plans of authorities, powers, spiritual rulers of darkness can never prevail against the Church no matter how hard they come. They can use persecutions, trials, wars, genocide but God will ensure that his Children are never wiped away from the face of the earth till the rapture.

Also, whenever the gates of hell at your workplace, city begin to persecute the Church(body of true Christians) and they call upon the Lord their God in heaven, He will stretch his mighty hand and in accordance to his Word, upturn the situation to favour his Children.

I don't know anything about this vaccine yet. So I do not think anything of it at this moment. Covid-19 was for real and it really stunned the world. The Lord already gave that revelation of the pandemic coming in this year 2020. And I mentioned it here about three years ago.


Now, the next thing to happen is a virus that makes people behave like Zombies, infecting others. The world will be REALLY stunned by this, they would marvel. And experts will gather to find a solution. There will be great attempts to stop the ZOMBIE EFFECT from entering into the workforce/working sector.


Don't worry about the covid-19 vaccine. I don't think it's a big deal we should worry about until the Lord talks about it. The Lord will reveal it if it's something dangerous. The worry should be this Zombie Effect virus that will come. I do not know when. But I will pray to the Lord for Him to reveal the time to me.

hmm, i had a dream few months ago, about a global pandemic that made people act like zombies. It was so bad that people were scared of leaving their homes. One of my friends came around acting like a zombie till she entered my home and started acting normal. According to her, it was the only survival tactic to act and dress like a zombie to travel to the village. That was how i started planning on how to dress like one and escape to my village because villages in Nigeria were safer than cities. I don't know if i should take the dream literally to mean the next pandemic or if there's a hidden message in the dream.

hello my fellow brethren. i attend rccg. i have been in church for 10 years now, 5 years i decided to join the workforce and become committed, my wife decided to leave the parish we were attending because she felt spiritual attacks from church members, i stay back because i had no leading to leave. she was not comfortable with my eagerness to serve.

today the pastor asked me to take the Tuesday bible study class, since then she has been moody and keeps to herself, i wonder if I'm overdoing things, I've tried to encourage her to become committed but it always ends in hot arguments, thus i just do my own and keep praying for her.
now she is saying she prefers that i attend a separate church instead that i over do things and I'm too zealous and show my eagerness to serve too much.

what you are passing through is only a normal thing most Christians pass through when they begin to grow in the Lord and step out of the yoke of bench warmers/baby Christianity. It is the wish of the enemy that we remain as babies all the days of our life while it is the wish of God that we grow spiritually. The enemy understands how dangerous a single matured Christian is to his kingdom, so, when the kingdom of darkness notices that a baby is growing, they send out evil spirits to influence the thoughts of someone close to them. It could be your spouse, parents, friends, pastor or fellow church members etc that will work hard in persecuting or cajoling you out of growing or reaching your full potential. That is why Jesus said whoever loves his parents, spouse or this world more than me is not worthy of me. I passed through the same thing from my spouse, so let me share what worked for me.
1. never, ever argue with your wife concerning the issue. Ignore or change the topic if she insists on a reply , reply as jokingly and funny as possible.
2. Pray for her always. It is only the Holy Spirit that can convict someone, so pray to Jesus to release the Holy Spirit to save her.
3. The greatest lesson i learnt while i passed through mine is evidence cancels every argument. Don't argue or force her to grow. When she sees how you reply her with love, how you pray and preach better, how your finances are growing, even her friends will begin to tell her how lucky she is, then her heart will natural change towards you and she will begin to seek God like you. Since you said you are a bible study teacher, ensure to bring it home. Do bible study with your household every morning or as convenient, don't mention her name as if you sought the scripture out to chastise her. Little by little her heart will soften. Action speaks louder than words, let your actions win her over.
4. Wage war against the spirit influencing her thoughts. For it is written, that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers and spiritual wickedness in high places. Your wife is not the enemy the spirit of lukewarmness/persecution is. So pray fervently against any spirit trying to use her to bring you down. You can use warfare scriptures such as Col 2:14-16 while praying.

I wish you all the best. For you to be passing through this as a bible school teacher is a sign that your growth is rattling the kingdom of darkness. Just be steadfast and avoid arguments plus implore the aid of the Holy Spirit and watch her change for good.

JOB AS A CASE STUDY.

I would like to put every believer in Christ going through any tribulations or any kind of suffering in the place of Job, so when I mention Job, please take it as any Christian.

The Trails of Job as we all know stemmed from a debate in heaven over a question "Are Humans truly Free?
In the first two chapters of Job, we saw satan reveal himself as a great humanist or a behaviorist. He claimed that Faith in God is merely a product of environment and circumstances.
As Christians are always told that they are Christians as a result of their environment.

Satan said Job was conditioned to Love God. He challenged God to take away the positive rewards and watch Job's faith crumble.

Satan's accusation is the reason Christians although devout also suffer.

That accusation is the reason Christians are allowed to be afflicted like every other person. This is to allow believers love God for God and not becos they are hedge and are protected all around.

Satan's accusation 'You' have put a hedge around him' stands as an attack on God's character. Satan tried to implies that God is not worthy of man's love in Himself without gifts. He implies that faithful Christians like Job are faithful because they are bribed by God to stay faithful.

I'm a hard believer of God. I believe in him with all my whole heart. For two years, I've been deeply reading the bible , meditating and have came to an understanding of him more than I was years back.

Something happened to me, I decided to pray that day. I locked myself in the room, woke up 12a.m to pray in total darkness.

I was in a sleeping position in my bed. Suddenly I felt my body jerking. It was vibrating . my legs were shaking off the bed on its own. It took some minutes for me to calm down.

On another occasion, I was praying at midnight too. I think 1am . I was facing the window and praying silently. Suddenly I had this tight feeling in my neck , felt as if I would faint . I couldn't breath, my head felt light and my face cold . I couldn't say any word from my mouth.. I felt I would passed out , my body jerking too. Was so scared that day.

What's happening to me? I don't understand. I'm scared of the feeling.

I do have similar experiences whenever i pray at midnight. It is the presence of the Holy Spirit. Mine manifests as shaking of my body or only palms, sweet burning sensation in my heart etc. Although I've never heard of stiff feel in the neck, next time when you're having such, open your mouth and try to speak in tongues. I think that is because you're holding back your new gift.

I had to train myself through university with photography with the help of my mum too. I remember when I was looking for project money, one of my father's wife, the one that went to give birth in Dubai just came back and they were doing naming ceremony.. I could remember I was in the rain with my mum and they were pointing at us, though we couldn't hear what they were saying.. How did I raise my project money? Sponsoring 5 kids wasn't an easy task since 3 of us was in the university. So I went with my to her work place, she was a nurse so we collected all the aprons used during immunization and washed them.. Then I also hustled to complete the money...
It was a very rough and tough life but all along, we didn't even seem like someone who has a father..

the best part of your story is you're prayerful. I will advise you to pray and fast to break the generational curse of seperation/divorce/polygamy/jumping from one woman to the other/general ancestral curses in your blood, take it extra seriously if you are the first son. If not you are just wasting time wishing your kids won't suffer your fate. Next, keep praying for God's divine intervention because the end goal of this crisis you are facing is to ensure you take a new wife while the first one is still alive like your father to ensure the curse in your bloodline continues. It is left for you to break the curse despite how painful the circumstances are or to continue in line with the plan of your ancestral spirits. You can look for Dr Olukoya's book on breaking foundational/ancestral curses. The prayers there are very wonderful.

What extraordinary experiences like the early disciples have you experienced such as performing miracles, prophesying, etc.

when you receive the Holy Spirit you don't just go around performing miracles. You need to pay the price. Observe that when Jesus was baptized, the Holy Spirit came upon him in the form of a dove. But he didn't start performing miracles immediately, rather the Holy Spirit took him to wilderness to fast for 40days and be tempted. You see, even though he was a whole big Jesus, he had to follow the protocol of paying the price by prevailing in fasting and prayer before performing miracles. Even the apostles, despite receiving the Holy Spirit had to be persecuted and give to a life of prayer before even their shadow could heal the sick. As for myself, when i received the Holy Spirit, i was led by the Holy Spirit to pray at midnight. Prior to then, i always had malaria every 3months, but it has been months i had malaria or fell ill. Before my child falls ill, i do see myself in my dream praying for his healing, so whenever he begins to fall ill, i pray for him and he receives his healing. So since then, i haven't spent a dime on drugs or hospital bills. I do receive revelations from my dreams unlike before, like very clear and precise revelations, mostly about my family members and people i know, like who is about to die and in what manner, who is about to give birth and the sex, whose financial status is about to change for better. I haven't really received prophesies so i can't say i have gotten the gift yet, but i know i received that of healing and warfare, only problem now is i am pregnant so i can't fast and i find it difficult to pray at night because of my job and condition, so the revelations have reduced.

Having the Holy Spirit in the bible made the early Christian's perform great exploits like healing, prophesying, holiness, etc.

I've had a good number but the problem is the time to type them. The major problem i had was i didn't understand what i was going through and at a point i was thinking i was under a demonic attack. When i received the Holy Spirit, i didn't know something like that existed. Infact, prior to then, i was so ignorant about christianity that i laughed at people who speak in tongues. The day it happened i found myself speaking in the tongues in the midst of a worship service. The more i tried to stop it the more it continued, so i stopped fighting it because i was enjoying the calm. "Problem" now started whenbi got home but i couldn't pray with English alone. whenever i want to pray i would start speaking in tongues involuntarily, at this point i felt tongues were indeed demonic to stop me from praying. So whenever i was praying and tongues issue started, i will start fighting hard to stop it. Little did i know i was grieving the Holy Spirit. I was also led to start praying at midnight. Whenever i was praying, my palms will begin to vibrate uncontrollably or i would fall down or feel vibrations. But in His mercy, he guided me to know him. I got to listen to Selman, Enenche, Arome's messages on the Holy Spirit. He also led me to Hagin and Hinn's books. That was how i learnt who the Holy Spirit was. I don't want to talk about the supernatural encounters like the healing and deliverance because of time. But, the greatest lesson i have in all this is, it is Jesus that gives the Holy Spirit but not in the fullest measure because you can waste it if you don't understand what is happening. The parable of the talents and how Jesus didn't allow food to waste after feeding the 5000 explains it. It is just like when you give birth to a child, you start with feeding with milk, then pap before you graduate to fufu. Same as it is here, when you receive the Holy Spirit, you need to develop it by reading about him, next fellowshipping with him in prayers, then learn his voice and how to distinguish his from that of flesh and the devil, next be obedient to his voice. It is after this you will begin to see the full manifestation of casting out demons etc. Even in the bible, Jesus trained his disciples for 3yrs, before giving them the gift of the Spirit. So, i would advise anyone to read about it so that you won't waste it like i almost did.

Note: this is not as a result of lack of belief because I very much believe in the holy spirit and his works.
I also know that with the Holy Spirit to navigate you, the race becomes easier to run

.You see in Acts 2: 38, Peter said, Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
There are three steps in becoming a good Christian, 1, repent and be born again, 2. water baptism, 3. baptism of the Holy Spirit. It is unfortunate that the devil has succeeded in deceiving people that they only need the first two and they are fine. If you read the entire book of acts, all the gentiles repented, then they were baptized by water and then the apostles baptized them with the Holy Spirit and they spoke in unknown tongues. The way you are you already have the Holy Spirit but you need to be filled with him. They are two ways of getting filled with the Holy Spirit, first by laying of hands by a genuine Christian (may or may not be a pastor). Paul received his own through this method from Ananias. second is to pray for it. I received mine through the second method although it didn't happen immediately. It happened later in a church service and my life since then has never remained the same. You can download Good morning Holy Spirit by Benny Hinn to understand the importance of the Holy Spirit.

i used to be in your shoes even at this time last year so i understand how you feel. Let me share how I escaped from the trap. I went on my knees privately on 31st dec, 2019 midnight and said a sincere and heartfelt prayer to God about my poor spiritual life, did 21 days fasting programme concerning it and he answered my prayers by baptising me with the Holy Spirit. I now understand what i was doing wrong all this years. I had been serving God with my own strength not by the strength of the Holy Spirit. You see, when the Holy Spirit comes into your life you begin to serve God almost effortlessly. You can pray for hours with ease, fast and sing praises non-stop. If you read the Bible, you will understand the hidden mysteries behind the words and He will direct you to passages you never knew existed. The Word of God will become true in your life like 3D stuffs instead of 2D. For it is written, that God is a Spirit and should be worshiped in Spirit and in truth. Romans 8 also talks about the wonderful difference that will manifest in your life after the infilling of the Spirit. I will advise you to go on your knees to beg God to baptise you with your Spirit. p.s it might not happen immediately. Mine took 7 months. God might want to groom you through a certain process so that you will appreciate this free gift.

Matt 6:14-15: For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Unforgiveness is the act of refusing to forgive someone who has wronged you.
It is similar to drinking poison and expecting your enemy to die.

It is unfortunate that this sin is so popular in our times, even amongst Christians and has been given the new name "beefing". The most recent exposé of the popular twin musicians who haven't spoken to each other and their families for 4 years is typical example of how dangerous the sin of unforgiveness is.

How dangerous is unforgiveness to a Christian?
1. Our heavenly Father won't forgive your sins if you fail to forgive the sins of others. (Matt 6:14-15)

2. It is a straight path to hell fire and eternal seperation from the presence of God.(matt 18:23-35)

3. It is the mother of several sins as anger, bitterness,hatred and resentment. When you are under the control of these sins, it means you are no longer been controlled by the Spirit nature but by the human nature.( Rom 8:5-7) . Whereas, the Word of God states that those who are controlled by their human nature cannot please God (Rom 8:8 )

4. Unforgiveness is the major cause of divorce in our society. It is so bad that divorced couples deny each other the right to see their children. The kids are badly affected as they grow up been brainwashed from one parent about how bad the other is. (Lev 19:17-18)

5. It is so dangerous that Jesus advised us to drop our gifts at the altar and reunite with our families before presenting the gift to God.(Matt 5:23-24)

6. Jesus advised us to forgive 7 × 77 times because he understands the dangers of unforgiveness to the human soul.(matt 18:21-22)

If you are reading this and you have a grudge, beef or malice with anyone, make it a point of duty to forgive the person and reconcile with that person today for tomorrow is too late. No matter what the person did to you, it is nothing compared to losing your soul for eternity.

I read a lot of Christian books in my teenage years as well when my Dad used to force me to do that as he gave me a time limit to do that. They were great books alright but nothing, I repeat, nothing as in-depth as the ones God led me to read few days ago.

I am currently reading David Diga Hernandez's 25 truths about demons and spiritual warfare and honestly speaking, I am stunned at the truth I am seeing here. It's remarkable!

You are right in saying a lot of Christians have perished for lack of knowledge. So many have been in church for years but are still very much under Satan's strong hold and they don't know.

Go to the Travel section and read where so called Christians claim that we Nigerians carry Christianity on our heads but yet not developed, if only they know the truth behind the wealth of some of these nations.

I was following a certain thread there as I had it in mind to move to that country but even in my sinful state then, I had to unfollow the thread when the OP defended Homosexuals in that country by claiming that some of them served "God" in the church. That didn't go well with me and I had to wonder what actually happens to some of us when we relocate outside this country.

In conclusion, I have also discovered that what you truly seek is what you will get. If you are after wayward women in the church for whatever carnal purpose of yours, you will get the destruction you want but if you're after true spiritual upliftment, God will give you your desire as well in that very church.

Now I completely understand why my Bishop has been bent on winning souls under different prophetic agendas and names the last ten years. It didn't make sense to me why he was so aggressive in carrying out these campaigns year in year out, but apart from the short time we have left, it's also because of how we will be received in heaven.

Will it be by managing to scrap in there or because we have laid up so much treasure and good works in heaven, such as depopulating hell as much as we could, while on earth or otherwise?

demonic spirits hardly ever tell their real names because it is easier to cast and rebuke them when you call their names. Instead they give random names to distract you. They serve the father of all lies, and just like their father, they tell lots of lies. The only time Jesus ever asked a demon for its name, it answered that its name is legion with the excuse that they were many. it doesn't pay much listening to them, rather we should rely on the Holy Spirit for the gift of knowledge and discernment to know their name.

I have my own experience to share, especially what happened this morning.

First of all, I want to point out that the kingdom of Darkness is immense and therefore, many things you get to read about them might seem ridiculous or accounts of repented witches and wizards formerly working for the Devil might seem to contradict themselves.

That might be due to a lot of factors, including the demons these witches worked for, their mission and of course, the many lies they were told to keep them in servitude to the devil. Oh yes, the devil tell lies, even to his human servants, no matter how high ranked they might be.

That said. For years, I have been intrigued by the testimonies of those who once worked for the devil, mostly to see how he operates since they aren't many literal examples in the Bible. The devil is quite secretive about his operations and he makes sure whatever secrets his human servants have with them stays with them, except if God intervenes and the fellow in particular stays true to God, else the devil will have his pound of flesh back.

I have read testimonies from Emmanuel Omobajesu, Rebecca Brown's convert in her book, set the captives free, the popular former occultic grandmaster, many others who had no named authors on YouTube and more recently, that of Erica Mukisa.

Erica's story was an eye opener for me because I finally understood just how ruthless Devil can be in getting that one christian soul to his kingdom. He won't rest until he has that particular christian soul. If he can't have you now because you are firmly grounded in the word of God, he will leave you for a season and return. His hatred for mankind knows no bounds, especially Christians.

In her series of books telling her story, I found out just how Satan had had me bound for years especially in the area of masturbation and pornography. This thing really destroyed my life, but that wasn't the ending point, it was the beginning. The plan was to lead me to fornication which they succeeded in doing before I got saved genuinely again around February this year, and that was the end of that siege.

But I noticed that my spirit was now completely weak; what I usually could counter in my dreams before I got into fornication became an Herculean task. I was at the level they called zero point in the kingdom of Darkness, meaning that my spirit man was dead...

I couldn't muster my spirit to go on the offensive in my dreams, all I could do was just watch as things unfold. It was terrible.

I mentioned this amongst other issues to a man of God here on this forum and he advised that I went on a 21 days fast. I did and all was going well until a few days to the end of the fast and I read through a certain thread here on this forum, from there I ended up on a site showcasing escorts in this very country. I am not bluffing, the sheer number of our girls I saw there was baffling. But in reality, the women and men there were just the most shameless amongst the many out there on other digital platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Tinder, Twitter and the rest.

I was amazed, shook my head and quickly took my leave. I wondered how people could do this, how people could be this shameless. But what I didn't know then, now I do though, was that the devil had found a gateway to get to me just through visiting that site and he struck. Anytime I wanted to pray, I kept seeing the pictures I saw in that site. I would cast the evil spirit out and it will leave but would return. My prayer and meditation session became a battleground, until finally, I returned to the site for God knows what and brethren, that was it...

I went from condemning this very folks to saving their pics and contacts as I planned to get to transact with them. The feeling was unusually strong like I had never seen the unclothedness of a woman before and I had just discovered sex. It was really strange. I was on the path to perdition and back, if not worse, to where I was before.

Worse, in the sense that I now thought to patronize call girls, something I would never conceive before.

But God arrested me now too long ago, I started visiting this thread and then a few weeks ago, a young man here mentioned a group on telegram and I quickly went there.

I downloaded a few books starting with the former grandmaster in the occult and my eyes became opened. If I had even patronized even one of those woman, my life would have been over. The sheer demons in call girls cannot be numbered, yet this was I aiming to bring into my life with my own money and my own sweat. It is amazing how Satan causes us to destroy ourselves by our hands. It is truly remarkable!

Anyways, I started going to church again and finally attended mid week service last two weeks, this was something I hadn't done in over a year. Sometimes, I go to church on Sundays but I noticed that Sundays were usually the day I sinned most but not anymore. I will not defy the sabbath day again.

I read these books on spiritual warfare while amazed at so many things we Christians take for granted that Satan actually uses to come into our lives. I learned that there's nothing like a secular song that isn't bad. Anything at all that doesn't glorify God is a risk if we listen to or watch them. We are playing with fire when we do that.

I learned the power of praying around midnight till 3am so I set in my heart to do that yesterday morning.

I prayed majorly for the souls of men to be won as that was the major theme of my church this year. I prayed as hard as I could, prior to that day, I had praised God for about an hour, rigorously. So I thought I was ready for this.

When it was close to two hours of my prayer session, I got weak and felt like sleeping, so I rounded up and went to bed. My dream was fine.

This morning, I decided against praying for the excuse that it was Sunday and that I had a few things to do instead. Brethren, it was the worst mistake I have made since I returned to Christ, fully.

I have never in my life, up till this morning, been attacked by night food hawkers this hard. I woke up three times and prayed to cancel the dreams but each time I returned to bed, the dream was always centered around being given food to eat.

I rarely dream about being fed in the dreams even on days when I was truly hungry but this morning was an exception. It was a truly remarkable experience and I should also mention about a certain bird that flies around at night, shouting. I noticed it passed this morning but was no where to be found yesterday morning.

I have learned my lesson and I plan not to repeat this again. My spirit man is not also up to par yet but I am working on it by the Grace of God.

Also, I realized today that the close my house is located is surrounded by Muslims, and for the "Christians" in our compound, two of the apartments there were white garment members who have been giving us tough time. The rest were cold Christians, who hardly ever went to church.

I was one of them until recently and I realize more than ever the reason why I have to be a fire brand Christian again.

I want to finish today by admonishing us that if we don't have a need for social media, it's best we leave it entirely. We should also be careful of the thread we get into on this forum. Sometimes, all it takes is one naughty pic and we have a battle on our hands. That was why I reported a post by that demonic agent on this thread that had a few raucous pics on it this week.

Also, If you attend a church where they are not firm on the choice of attire to wear to church, like my own, please endeavor to stay in front as much as you can as ushers do not allow women with ridiculous outfits to stay there.

Last week I saw a lot of these in play and I had to ask myself why anyone will decide to wear clothes meant for clubs to the house of God.

Anyways, that's my story for now. I will admonish every christian to join that group on telegram and get books that will transform their spiritual life for good.

I belong to the telegram group and i have read all the books you quoted. As the scriptures say, my people perish for lack of knowledge. Ignorance is a major device used by the enemy against the church. Many churches in Europe and America have shut down because of ignorance in spiritual warfare. It is so bad that churches have become mere pilgrimage sites, some even rent out their churches to be used in horror movies. Many Christians have grown cold and are in chains courtsey of ignorance in spiritual warfare. Every Christian needs to read those books and also study spiritual warfare to understand the devices and tricks of the enemy and also understand the power that lies in the name of Our Lord Jesus. When i began my journey with the Lord, i was directed by the Spirit to delete all the worldly songs in my phone and replace them with gospel songs and sermons. I refused, i was so engrossed in secular music, i could even rap impressively well for a female. It was as if i would die if i deleted those songs. After listening to Enenche's sermon on the Holy Spirit, that was when i understood the scripture that says, whoever cannot forsake his mother or father, is not worthy of me. Imagine, my mates are forsaking parents while I'm here complaining about songs, then i deleted them and stopped listening or watching any secular music. After some months, i stumbled on Erica's book, then i understood why the Holy Spirit insisted i deleted and desisted from secular songs.

Very nice points, but you forgot to add the baptism of the Holy Spirit. If you study the scriptures especially Acts of the Apostles, when an unbeliever repents, the apostles would baptise them , next pray for them to be filled with the Holy Spirit. It is very hard to be a good Christian without developing/fellowshipping with the Spirit. That is why Romans 8, says only those who have the Spirit of God can please him and also says, for as many who are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Something abominable happened in the tabernacle of meeting recorded in 1 Samuel 2:22 ;
Now Eli, who was very old, heard about everything his sons were doing to all Israel and how they slept with the women who served at the entrance to the tabernacle of meeting.

They committed sexual immorality inside the temple of God at the tabernacle of meeting amidst other abominable acts.
This wasn't an ordinary sin, it was directly supervised by satan to mock our holy God. To mock his temple, mock the act of worship, mock everything that the then holy nation of israel stood for thereby causing israel to sin.
This abomination was enough for God to turn his back entirely and forever against his own people but our God is a wonderful
and a mysterious God because according to Acts 7:47;

49‘Heaven is My throne,

What house will you build for Me? says the Lord,

Which means as terrible as the sin committed by Eli's sons he loved the world so much in other to protect us he sent his Son Jesus to die for our sins, and reconciliate the entire world back to him. Which means no more physical building or temple but instead a more deeper and spiritual one.

That is the mystery of the old temple in Isreal with all it's different compartment is inside of man. E.g the tabernacle of meeting, the holy place, the holy of holies...etc. Man is actually divided into these compartment just like that.

Now when you give your strength to immoral sex, you have polluted the temple of God which is in YOU, just like Eli's son were laying with women in the tabernacle of meeting. The entrance of the holy spirit into your heart will be totally impossible because the tabernacle of meeting which is inside of you has been polluted by sexual perversion and just as God could not work with isreal through Eli anymore, God will also resist you at all cost. Brothers and sisters this is why sexual immorality is a DEADLY SIN against your own self, against your own temple.

No need to wonder why satan is so interested in polluting the entire world with immorality. Because no immoral human can see the Lord. For immorality to totally consume man, it needs to be constantly be repeated every day in his face. This will render him spiritually deaf, blind, weak, walking in total spiritual darkness. And this is what we see in the world today. Everywhere you turn your face too is defiled.

Satan has weakened the entire world through immorality. And the truth is immorality gives birth to all kinds of sin.
I used to live in such sin in past so my advise here is simple:

Repent quickly before it is too late. No one is guaranteed of tomorrow. You die in sin, your problem has just began.

Jesus is all kind and all merciful when you repent.
BUT what that same Jesus has in plans for satan and his angels and those who pollute the earth is pure disaster. Jesus will destroy without mercy at the end of the age. All authority has been given to Jesus Christ and he will execute judgement on all of them.

Jesus said in revelation 2 23 about those spirit who by her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols.
I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.

God sends prophecies through his servants to warn the elect of God. In the book of Acts, Agabus and some prophets warned the Christians about an imminent famine. So, they stocked their homes and shared what they had and the famine didn't affect them. To any Christian reading this, please work on saving money, stock your homes with food stuffs and work on your prayer life.
