there's no over sabi in Christianity. We all have different measures of the Holy Spirit and how we respond to them. Avoid mocking those who are extra charismatic, mocking them might result in you blaspheming against the Holy Spirit in them which is a sin that can't be forgiven ( matt 12:31-32)

1. Audio Christians gang
Description
These are the "one leg in, one leg out" kind of church goers. They worship other gods at night and come to church during the day or once in a while.
Origin
a. Some of them come from homes that worship traditional gods, or one of their parent is a non-Christian, or basic non-religious homes, but they decided to bear the tag Christian to feel accepted in the society.
b. They come from Christian homes but they have decided to join occultic groups for money or fame. You will see this kind among the elderly generation (45- 80yrs). They only go to church to hide their true identity and socialize.
Basic Characteristics
a. They make blasphemous statements like, whether sango, Allah or Jesus, we are worshipping the same God. All pastors are thieves etc.
b. Today they are in the shrine, tomorrow church, next week, mosque.
c. They wear charms even to church.

Matt 6:24, No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. 
Ex 34:14, You must worship no other gods, for the LORD, whose very name is Jealous, is a God who is jealous about his relationship with you.

2. The Lukewarm gang
Description
This is the dangerous place a Christian any Christian can find himself. They believe in the gospel of Christ but don't believe in his power directly or indirectly. They are in the Church but under the bondage of sin. They are the ones the bible referred to in Tim

a. They are the easiest to attack by the devil, so they experience things like, having sex and eating food in the dream. They see cobwebs, themselves in old school uniforms in the dreams and other things that shouldn't happen to a Christian.
b. They say things like, I didn't go to church today because I couldn't iron my cloth.
c. Even, when they go, you can easily spot them sleeping, chatting, checking out the hottest girl and best dressed while the sermon is on.
d. Righteousness is not in their dictionary. They commit all manner of sins and replace God with their own gods like sports, gambling, lust, money etc.
e. Because they are spiritually blind, they follow the audio Christian gang to make snide comments against the church, not knowing that does ones have charms to keep them going.
f. The Bible is a mere history/storybook to them.
g. They are full of doubt and can easily be led astray.

Rev 3:15-17
 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing. But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.

When there is life, there is hope. Most strong Christians (including myself) were once in this group. Repent today and put God first in your life.

3. Born again Christians
Description
These are Christians who have repented fully with a strong conviction to worship him. Through his Grace, their souls have been renewed and trained to resist the devil. Their greatest wish is to be with God in heaven.
Origin.
They can come from Christian and non-Christian homes. Most of them graduated from the lukewarm group.
Basic Characteristics
a. They enjoy praising and praying to God.
b. Their lifestyle alone, makes sinners around them repent.
c. They have this peaceful aura around them.
d. They enjoy nothing more than fellowship
with other true Christians.

Matt 24:13, But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

4. Spirit filled, Born again Christians
These are the people that walk the talk. They are the ones that Jesus spoke of when he said in Mark 16:17-18, And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands onsick people, and they will get well.”

They are a fulfillment of the Word in Jn 14:12, Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.
I believe all Christians should work hard to be in this group.

Description
These are the 21st century version of the scribes and pharisees in Jesus era. They claim to be Christians but their lifestyle depicts otherwise. Personally, I believe it is a form of demonic attack in the church.

Most people here come from Christian homes and are graduates of the audio christian gang.
Basic Characteristics
a. They are very active in church especially in leadership and choir. You can also see them in ushering department. Pride is their hallmark. They are super proud and view themselves better than others.
b. They love attention and publicity. They can leave any church that doesn't give them a "honourable position" or "comittee" to chair.
c. Even unbelievers live better lifestyles than these ones. They are full of malice, bile, envy, anger, greed and all manner of evil you can think of. They generally lack love.
d. They have a know-it-all attitude. They believe they understand the Bible more than anyone in this world.
e. They are super mean to their househelps, employees and anyone they believe is beneath them but if you are above them, they will worship you with eye service. Instead of winning souls for God, they steal souls away from him.
f. The worst part of these group, are those who actually received anointing and call yet found themselves in this group. You will begin to wonder who really called them. It is here you will see pastors and priests who rape and commit adultery, homosexuality and all manner of sexual immorality.
Bible advise
Repent, else you will be like those recorded in Matt 7:21-23,
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Op, please edit the arguments are allowed talk out of your post. It is against the character of the Holy Spirit to engage in arguments. If you find yourself engaging in any argument no matter how good your intentions are, rebuke that spirit and repent from such actions.

While growing up, my church did not place much emphasis on the power of Holy Spirit. In my search for a deeper relationship with God, my spirit directed me to a midweek ministry. I was sick then with severe, irregular abdominal pain. It was there I was praying and the minister touched me, I started rolling in the floor and my tummy became hot and painful for like 5mins, since then till now, I have not experienced that pain.
The second was just last week, I went to the same church and when we were singing intense praise and worship, I started speaking in tongues unaided for the first time in my life. Even when I tried to keep my mouth shut, the words just kept blurting out. It was so beautiful and I felt some inner peace and aura, I didn't want it to end at some point but it did stop.

Whenever you have the urge with a strong resolution say, I bind you demon with the Blood of Jesus and have faith that it Is gone. Stay away from bad friends too.

Jeez, as a first time mom, you need to understand that most older nigerian women are actually very ignorant and always want to stick to their old way of doing things. Even my hubby's granny told me not to give my son eggs so that he will because thief .
Google has to be your best friend for now followed by a well educated midwife or paediatrician. Learn to stamp your foot on the ground and insist on what you want while correcting her with love.
pls note, exclusive breastfeeding is the BEST for your child. between the ages of 0-6months, your child should not be taking formula. If you think I am lying, check the bottle of your formula milk, it is boldly written there. You should only give formula milk to your child if the breast milk is not sufficient for him. Bonding with your child is very important at this stage. Cuddle your child and bond with him. If she tells you otherwise, say no ma, it is my child and I want to bond well with him. I will advise you to leave and look for your own relatives if she continues proving too difficult to unlearn these things so she does not spoil your name among your in laws.

I was born in a Christian family. Though my maternal parents family were Muslims (not very religious) my paternal were devoted Christians. Lived with my uncle (who’s a deacon, his wife also a deaconess), for a while growing up. They maltreated me and my siblings so much that I started questioning what they believed in, add to my dad’s way during the church service and after church service that I started having so much doubt about Christianity.
Many years later. I started learning about God my own way. I remember there was a time I fasted for 3 days for a breakthrough and honestly I can attest that my prayer was answered. I went to church on the 31st December 2010 and prayed to God that I wanted my own apartment in the following year. To my surprise I got a 3 bedroom apartment February the following year. Many things happened, got introduced to all sorts by friends and I started loosing touch with my faith.
(I am a Virgo so I kind of scrutinize everything being a perfectionist). Fast forward couple years back; I started going to church again somehow the junior pastor whom was also a friend wanted me to start dating the secretary of the church because I donate to the church a lot (I was into yahoo and I was driving a big car, both the senior pastor and the junior never asked what I did for a living though I assumed they knew) but they respected me a lot in the church above many people I met in the church (I didn’t even attend this church for 3 months all together) Everything was good, I didn’t care what happened in the church or what any of the elders think though I was a part of the elders and I was barely 25 at the time. It’s a big church (A new age church) Then the event of the junior pastor asking me to start screwing the secretary whom was couple years older than me happened. That was the moment I got fed up with church. Now I have stopped scamming, I stop making money from it. Every single part of me believe so much in God but not Christianity I don’t know if that even make any sense, because I stumbled on a book by Thomas Paine called “Age Of Reason”.
Now why am I writing all these?
I’m at a point in my life that I am so confused, I feel like nothing is working for me and everything in me keep telling me to mend my relationship with God but I stop believing in Christianity and the Bible. I know God answers prayers. I am convinced that my encounter with God and the miracle I experienced weren’t just coincidence. But it seems these days God doesn’t listen to me and I think it has everything to do with my faith.
I don’t know if anything I wrote make sense but
In a nutshell; For strong believers whom know God. How do I find my way back to God and build my faith back? I didn’t write this to get to front page but to help my life back on track.

Despite all the negatives you witnessed, you are still interested in knowing God. I really do commend you for that and I believe God has serious plans for you that is why you are restless. I was in your shoes early this year, so I will share what worked for me. First, pray to God that you want to develop a deep relationship with him and he should guide your path. Next look for a bible believing church that preaches holiness and the work of the Holy Spirit (genuine prophecy, healing and deliverance). God led me to a very small ministry close to my house and it has been building me up spiritually. They don't have any branch but based on my research I will advise you to try the following: Dunamis, Overcomers, Deeper Life, Mountain of Fire. Also, I will advise you not to get too close with those in charge of your church, attimes getting too close to them can make you see their flaws and lose faith as a Baby Christian, unless the Holy Spirit directs you to be close to them.
You need to understand one thing right now, God is always happy when someone seeks his face. The way you looking for him is the same way he is fighting his way to your heart. I will also advise you to download the following with immediate effect. Do a Google search for "naija sermons Apostle Joshua Selman messages on growing spiritually". you can also download those on the Holy Spirit and revival. download Paul Enenche's messages on the same topics too.
Download the following books: Kenneth Hagin- triumphant church, growing up in the spiritual, anointing of the Holy Spirit, How to pray and as many as you can read.
I will also advise you to read mysterious secrets of the dark kingdom (the battle for planet earth) by J.P Timmons. It will give you an idea of how the battle for souls look like. When I read this book I was scared of sleeping in the dark for some days sha but it helped me know when the devil is at work.
Most importantly, read your bible every day and pray like twice a day. You can also recite psalms 3, 16,20, 35,51,91,121 according to your schedule. I will also advise you to stick with a daily devotional, personally I use Our daily manna. And, very importantly, download lots and lots of gospel songs and praises on your phone. Try to play them as often as possible. They help in lifting your soul. Last but not the least, try to preach to others. You don't need to go to the streets, you can start with WhatsApp messages and status, from there FB or IG or YouTube or even nairaland. The more you preach, the more the Spirit of God will fill you. May you succeed in your quest. Amen.

the closer I am getting to God and studying his Word, the less hungry I feel. Before, I used to eat very big rations of food but now with a little ration I am done for the day. Even those around me noticed it. These days I only eat well so as not to give the devil a space to introduce ulcer in my life.

It depends on your ideology as a genuine Christian. A true Christian should not be too sad when a fellow Christian dies, because he believes she is with the Lord in a place a million times better than this earth. And, that place is the real home of true Christians. That does not mean he won't grieve, he probably is still in the denial stage of losing a loved one. I'm very certain that he has been crying himself to sleep and probably questioning God. I thank God for the Grace he gave to him to bear the loss. It is only the Grace of God that will make you mourn for a loved one with peace in your heart and not feel depressed. If you are reading this remember you will die one day, do you want your family to be at peace like this man with the consolation that you are in heaven? Or do you want your family to be in constant grief because they are almost certain you are in hell? The time to repent is now. Remember, there is no repentance in the grave. RIP Ibudun.
