The beat is so cool and pleasant a friend said it is a SA artist song but I can’t just figure out out how to search it used YouTube to no avail I think it’s a new song or something. Bro well said. Same thing with me never remember the last time I watch or read local news contents of the state. That man has brought sanity to the political, educational, economic etc. system of the state.

Don’t say what can the tinubu do in Edo state during the apc primaries. If Oshiomole want to deny Obaseki his ticket all he needs the backing of the apc national working committee not the state.

He has rendered many devilish political favors to folks like tinubu and other vital people of the party at the top level and this same people can agree and come in alliance and thwart every Obaseki and their state excos and they can do it.

Edo state is supposed to pdp. Edo south and Central. But for lucky Igbinedion who messed things up but that does not take away the fact that pdp is still a strong force to reckon with in the state of esp for lifeless incompetent bubu colossal failure that greatly impacted the National Assembly elections of the state.

It was a case of anything but not poverty and hunger orchestrated lifeless bubu.

Bubu poor performance was what affected apc chances in national elections.

You can see how that was immediately corrected in the state house assembly elections where apc cleared all the seats.

I know of lots apc party leaders that canvassed and vote massively for pdp during the national elections and I also know lots of pdp party leaders that are blown way by Obaseki performance with less resources and without burrowing and effectively collecting the states revenues straight into the state coffers with fraudulent much of 3rd parties which is greatly responsible for where is seeing funds to execute massive projects without trading blames to any of his predecessors ever.

Inasmuch as you are correct that politics is local it’s the people that still matters not those aggrieved party members ( jobless hungry full time politicians who can not all be pleased cow they take politics as full time and useless as results apart from showing up during elections as a rigging machine and tools)

Bros Obaseki as the people support big time and no any opponent at the moment can unseat him and fully on ground here in the states and I know the feelers first hand from the people here. I voted for Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu who lost to Obaseki but in all honesty I don’t think he would have done better than our current “wake and see” governor - Obaseki. That dude is a performer and master strategist.

His performance has now opened Edo people eyes to the fact that short devil looted the states dry. Go round the states and see the development going on. Same with business innovations.

Yet he has never borrowed instead he keep servicing the loans short devil incurred in spite of the oil booms during his time yet you never hear him hurl blames at anyone like incompetent and lifeless bubu. See the education revolutions, massive roads constructions and rehabilitations across every corners of the state.

The business growth and all other superb structure of effective revenue collections he has put in place unlike fraudulent short devil that was enriching touts as Kabaka and its likes during his tenures. Me Though I first voted for Osagie but now be personally mobilizing and campaigning for Obaseki for a job well done.

Politics and party aside the guy is a worker and master performer and such he does not have any opponents now or in the foreseeable future that can unseat him and hope oshiomole thief won’t let greed and ego make Obaseki move to another party cos that could be the end of apc in Edo state.

Sounds like you've got quite a few issues with your application. If someone signed you up for a conference you knew nothing about, with an organization that even to you seemed 'strange', provided payslips from the organization while you are a business man who works for himself not the organization (and remember those payslips are not going to tally with the bank statement you handed in), then they basically submitted fraudulent documents for you. The refusal means this was likely detected. That is a bigger problem than whether or not you have traveled before or have 'home ties'. Unfortunately, you are responsible for whatever was handed in to the High Commission, not whomever did it for you.

Cos I leave and do all my my things in another state not Lagos where they claim I work and receive salaries. Please what’s you guys suggestions for me going forward and reapplying again how soon should I? And what other things should I do?

But 1.1m is not fair enough for Canada trip.
Closing balance is also very important

Nope my savings account as my business accounts don’t always have good inflow and outflow but my savings . Was advised by the agents not to let the available balance be more than 1.5m between 1to 1.5m

Monthly salary? I am into business. so months can be few thousands and some months few million. (all these funds are always entering and leaving within days. The 6 months statement from the account I submitted was close to 27M but 1.1M was the available balance before I submitted my application on the 8th of Feb 2019 (Paper submission Lagos).

Conference related to my work? No not related I never knew until the day I submitted my application cause an agent told me there was a Canada link that invitation will be sent that all I needed to do was provide my passport and data while they handle the rest.

I never knew what they (agent) were using to prepare my travel until the day I submitted and this does not relate to what I do.


Documents I can remember I submitted because I just glanced through before submiitting that day.

1. Reference letter from my bank
2. 6 months bank account state (over 25m inflow and outflow for 6months steadily active with 1.1m available balance before I submitted)
3. two landed properties receipts
4. The conference invitation reservation/confirmation letter (about $700 payment was made for the conference)
5. Letter of introduction from the nigeria organisation they used for the process
6. Letter of self introduction
7. Letter of confirmation of the same organisation
8. Hotel reservation (wish I also confirmed myself by calling the hotel)
9. Flight booking
10. Payslip (some months) from the same nigeria organisation used.

The only thing strange to me is the organisation used on my behalf. But every other things used that I also provided are all correct.

Please whats your advice and suggestions as regards reapplying now or later. I wasn't desperate to travel until a friend told me about this agent link because somebody we know from this agent got his last year

I don't know. I am also anxious as you cos we submitted same day and same Paper submission as you. A friend that submitted his on the 5th of Feb 2019same paper submission just received a message yesterday 19/3/2019 that is Passport is ready for collection. Hope ours for 8th of Feb 2019 should be ready soon

I did biometric for visit visa and submitted my application (paper route) the same day on Feb 8th,2019. Today I received mail from high commission of Canada from Kenya RE: Validity of your biometric information... Please does this mean? Does it mean the visa has been approved or will be approved?

Same thing with me coincidentally same day submission (paper too). But I don’t think it means anything else other than your biometric and photography acknowledgement
