How? Where dem wan see money? Elections here is majorly all about kesh, power and influence. Nor be beans! Cantonese: |
says who? It depends On the area. 400k to 1m in ugbor to MTN mast axis shortIGBOman: |
Even in the area of road I will still score him good. He not the type of politician that does projects show off and commissioning. PZ, Eradiawa, Okabere, etc. Most part of country home, limit, ugbor, aruoba, to obagie, to ogheghe to Sapele road to Obayantor axis then Amagba, linking it up with Sapele road to GRA down to Airport road axis to decongest the ever busy Sapele road and more are many of the ones I personally know off because I leave around this axis and they use to be in deplorable state. To start with, these are long kilometers of roads but you hardly see him doing commissioning and paparazzi show off. He just completes these projects and people start using it without noise. Penguin2: |
Don’t mind those bunch of enemies of Edo state. In as much as there are other areas I want him to do more for the state. Obaseki so far as been a performer. I leave around Aruogba, Ugbor - Amagba axis and I can say of a fact that what he said here is true and not lies like many paparazzi and camera show off governors will do. Once he completes a project, it immediately becomes available for public use. He hardly commission or do camera show off. Because he does not do the usual projects commissioning and all the camera show offs many think he is not working. Look at the edo innovation and creation hub, look at the now revamp formerly dead technical school. Is it in the area of human development like civil service training, improvement and capacity building and all? At the present harsh economic reality of the present day Nigeria I don’t think Edo would have got a better prudent manager of the state resources than he is currently doing. Off course more work still need to be done by him but so far so good he has been a performer Elderniercri: |
You ain’t talking like someone in Edo. Edo is lucky to a brain like Obaseki currently managing it inspite of the scare paucity of funds unlike during Oshiomole time. Even the federal govt and other states are feeling the scarce funds at the moment yet he has been okay. Governance is not all about paparazzi show of talk and all. With the present economic realities of the nation, I will say he is doing well judiciously managing the state resources without needless wasteful borrowing How are companies running away? Or he is making economic policies and fostering reforms to encourage and attract investors with his chain of contacts? Just mention the established companies that have run away? Don’t tell me you don’t know your praise singing fan of a governor - Oshiomole borrowed billions in the name of Water Storm Project for the control of floods in Edo metropolis but looted the money? Haven’t you seen how Edo state is now competing and performing better economically among other states? Or you haven’t been seeing the performance ratio and index that is available even here on Nairaland? Is governor performance only judged by construction of flyovers, roads etc (don’t misquote me, they are very essential basic amenities that must be provided by the government) Just like every other performing governors of other states there are indeed areas where he needs to buckle up. Thehardcoreunkn: |
Lol Even if someone like Dangote becomes a governor of state if he chooses with his plenty billions. He won’t be saying this because the legit leverage and profitable access being a governor will give to his biz expansion and growth will be a plus. |
SadiqBabaSani:All those that short changed Nigerians by bringing this calamity upon this nation thereby taking us several years back to donkey age has received or will receive equal levels of punishment |
My major beef with this dude Tinubu is his deliberate packaging of the most awful president naija has ever had. I think is has shown enough that he has a progressive and growth centered mindset also judging by his vision and leadership as a then governor of Lagos state. I know he is a crook just like every naija politicians but he can’t be compared to this present terrific disaster of a president. This is one of the reason I will never vote or support his candidacy with my 1 vote. Anyways, he fronting and leading the parties merger was a smart and calculated master stroke since he was already nursing the idea of being a president. He felt it will be far easier to ensure bubu is delivered so he can reciprocate same Favour for him but it seems water don Dey pass garri for him. |
meobizy:Which job abeg.? The way to earn decent income these days is beyond occupying one political position. If you know the numbers that guy is pulling from his chains legit online hustle you go surprise. He being active and open critic of bubu doesn’t mean is jobless or idle. |
The bad eggs among these condemn iron guys are coded marauders and criminal. They end up vandalizing and stealing anything that looks like metal, Aluminium, steels etc. The order day sometime washed and kept her cooker outside to dry, one of this marauding criminal stole it and made thy household go without that day. Fence lamp holders, tap heads and many more valuable properties are always being stolen by these same set of folks. For this I feel it’s a welcome development. Let them go to waste dump site and scavenge not living neighborhoods there stealing |
Well said. I made same observations yesterday. Folks like Kwakwaso, Atiku do not seems happy about the way the Secondus led excos were booted out. Elections are easier won when a candidate is popular and have loyal following. PDP will be shooting itself if they allow those who are politically irrelevant to keep calling the shots as they go into the presidential elections |
Something tells me this dude is on his way back to APC. It seems the fallout of Secondus led PDP excos booting out didn’t go his way. If Supreme Court rules against Secondus camp Kwakwaso could be on his way back to the APC for sure. The present federal government led APC cabal knows his usefulness that’s some of the creepy reasons Ganduje camp lost out of Kano APC party structure and control to pave way for the return of folks like Kwakwaso who are more politically relevant. The present PDP governors being in full control of the PDP is something not being taken likely by elements like Kwakwaso and Atiku. 2022 Nigeria politics is gonna be full of intrigues as the country prepares for 2023 general elections. |
Good one |
Waste of time and resources. The next president of Nigeria will either come from APC or PDP |
Fake news. Tinubu just like every other rogue naira politicians might have looted and stashed away some hard currency I don’t think he will be willing to part away with an average of 50billion when election heat never even started |
1. Political patronage. These men lives a lavish life. Being in opposition for the past 5yrs+ has been hell for many full time career politicians. (Strongest reasons) 2. Corruption cases (I doubted this because he has been very critical of Buhari led government even in the face of the series of corruption) 3. The children custody / support case in court with his ex wife. I also doubted this reason too |
What kind of house? How many bedrooms? Let assume it's just a single 3bedrooms flat with normal standard rooms measurement of 12ft by 12fts and assuming you already have a land. 4M won't deliver a good portable standard apartment with all the normal fittings and finishing. The block work, roofing woods and sheets will almost swallow the whole of the 4M. Bubu government has been a cancer ♋. |
Now I see the reason FFK didn't allow precious to give birth to any of her kids abroad even when she made so many frantic efforts to. Na daylight robbery and story that touch like this he was trying to avoid. Had she given birth to those triplets abroad let's say US or even UK he for don be for FFK now. kingthreat: |
Where is the disown ni? Presidency silently absolved him. |
Moferere:How is it fake news? Did he deny that he didn’t disagree with the VP? |
orikoku:Oops |
Busi so good with false ball pass |
Onethousandgoat:Says BMC crew who just joined NL 2days ago. Bunch of irredeemable lots. |
I keep wondering how intl media seems to know the problem of Nigerians more than local media houses. Succinctly written. All these brown envelop and stomach infrastructure journalists should come and learn. |
Lol. Non be only biggest internet market. Weak gdp to high population to weak purchasing power etc. A global company who generates revenues from hundreds of countries begging just one country with one of the highest unemployment rate in the world. I switched my vpn to SA and I was watching YouTube videos few hours ago. When I saw the caliber of world tech and Fortune 500 companies advertising to SA audience it dawned on that this country economy with its useless ever rising population is a joke taken too far. Our advertisers here na mostly pasta, maggi, gotv, etc. and this goes to show the real economic activities on ground. |
30k/Month BMC crews are in severe pain and trying so hard to do good image PR for their paymasters. They are going after all their strong critics who have now battered their sorry image. They just did same to Reno. It’s Aisha turn today. More people to follow next. |
After losing and seriously beaten at the Supreme Court? |
One of the Most successful African football player in history (both male and female) |
True be told. Nigeria has never had it security issues worst since the end SARS protest ensued. It exposed Nigeria to lots of security challenges. From setting out hardened criminals from prison to some cultists now having field day with their activities not being checked like before. The consequences is what we now see these days. The arms that have now proliferated every nook and cranny of this country can only be recovered with tactical approach which many clueless divisional police officers can’t except intelligent detectives. SARS has it good side especially in the area of fighting kidnappers. But they later started messing up by extorting and harassing citizens especially those that look fresh and rich like it was a crime to look good or rich. Again, the issue of insecurity in Nigeria became worst and so terrible since the end SARS protest and it has only increased since which means they were somehow doing something right in the area of combating and waging war with kidnapping, robbery, cultism etc. regardless of their bad and evil side. |
Ibrahimmrfish:Why are they now screaming genocides? You keep firing rockets and when they retaliate with bigger force you start crying genocides? |
Wise decision on the part of the parents to have negotiated directly with these useless terrorists instead of waiting for this heartless terrorism sympathizing regime |
This was the beginning of Nigeria downfall under this Buhari led regime. He was told there would be consequences for jettisoning this age long federal character method. Even the West that has been known for its tolerance and accommodating tendencies with other tribes are now feeling a lack of belonging. Same with other regions and none core hausa fulani. The rising call and demand for disintegration are all rooted in this senseless and clownish religious bias and nepotism aside his monumental incompetence. May God help Nigeria. Racoon: |
