I remember when I was serving, I was posted to a school n there I realize teaching is modern day slavery

The parents who never have time to monitor their wards will always blame d teachers if the students fail

The school management don’t care about d teachers, the only care about d students whom they see as customers

Teachers must not touch any student no matter how rude or indiscipline he is cos the school doesn’t want to lose customers

At the same time the students must not fail even if he doesn’t write anything in d exam, na private school I hear of double upgrade

The students on d other hand knows for sure that if they fail the teacher will b blamed so they don’t care so far there’s a teacher to blame

That’s d main reason I pity teachers a lot especially those in private school

The students too don’t like u

Teaching is modern day slavery

Please always endeavor to help a private school teacher around u, many of them are suffering but they dare not say it

How did you know what's on my mind, your opinion about the children doesn't matter just what their parents wants matter, if you talk you are automatically fired🔥🔥 imagine a child getting 2 over 60 and he or she is in jss1 if you look at the age he or she should have been in basic 4 but no the parents wants the child in this present class now how do you expect me to handle that type of issue.

When you're working in a private school you don't even have time for yourself yet you are never congratulated, appreciated or even taken as a living thing.

They threaten you about decision you make, like a man telling his wife she would die if she goes back to school, forcing himself on her for sex even at the point of sickness, tell her her food is poison yet eats it, curse and call her a fool in the presence of many, that she can never succeed he's the best thing that happened to her, frustrate and make sure she can never be recognized, frustrate with everything and act yet so innocent outside.

I taught as a part-time teacher here in DELTA STATE... for the meagre sum of 20 k ... after one month 5000 naira was deducted from my salary... when I inquired about the deduction...she made me to understand that there was a day my class was noisy and I really disciplined the children in a manner she isn't satisfied with... the last straw that broke the camels back was when a parent fought with me... for flogging her child...

instead of the school management to treat the issue in a fair manner... because I disciplined the child on the ground of him insulting me... but the school management said....

private school teacher are really suffering... especially those teaching the secondary schools... they'll overburden you with workloads... and they won't pay well... you will be given insults from the management; the parents and the students...

I tire oh I thought it's only me that noticed this trend, they don't value their staffs but parents who don't give a shit about them just because they need students, if you talk na problem... I no fit do pass myself ontop how much wey no reach me but land, the worst part is they don't have manners of approach,they value the staffs that don't do anything and make the children so wayward infact they cover up the evil done by the children... Just to save student whose parents end up running away with their money after failure to pay fees... Teaching in private school is a curse abeg out of 20k the money you expect to take home as salary is either 15k or 13k

Good evening nairalanders, just wanted to share this with this because I just don't know the reply to give at this moment,well is it possible for a man to be promoted, start collecting money and extra income without telling his wife for five years.
Now my cousin sister was telling me about how she is going to cope till March because expenses are too much on her, hence she's isn't seeing money to save and start up another life, with her kids, to crown it up her husband is always complaining of money and feeding for the children is now on her...three cups of rice eat afternoon and evening for 4 including him,even a dog can't eat to be okay,now she's keeping fast just so the children can eat and the man is the one monitoring the feeding to make sure nobody eats more than twice in the house. Now the most shocking revelation came when he was paid that day he was complaining bitterly so much, only for her to hear that they have been paid through someone else then she came to confront him he didn't say anything... now the issue that is causing problem and the man wants to throw her out of the house for it is this,he got promoted, with a new amount infact she thought he was earning below 60k only for her to discover he's earning above 100 k. She got so weak, she asked and he denied later he started asking how she knows about it, that the money is his,he can do whatever he wants he doesn't want to tell anyone,I am just plying everything up so that those family members won't start saying what they don't know at all, how would anyone do this to his wife and kids. Anyways since it's better without him, when she comes, she is saying she wants to report so that she would be receiving half of it for the welfare of the children is it possible, because she's really overdoing it school fees everything on her,at least she can start up something plus what she has saved by then she wouldn't care about the money again... what do you guys think or should we just leave him for God.
