With there little resources, they could still manage to muster something good, (at least a decent military formation), kudos to chad...shame on nigeria (the most corrupt country in the world). This is just like a security guy trying to rescue the son of his bank manager oga, by paying his skul fees cos oga don use all his own money kari woman and drink finish The useless goats are bleating about whether it was Jet or chopper, redirecting their compass away from the substance of humiliation being brought on this country by this government, fate will bring humiliation upon these evil supporters and their progeny.

The big picture is, covertly using that opportunity to embellish back to themselves the oil well licensing which is slated to expire in the coming months. Kororugged: Manny4life, you need to learn how to debate in a civil manner without being emotional. You get angry when things are not going your way. It is also clear you are not as non-partisan as you are claiming to be.
The guy has explained that the savings from wastage in government spending and also savings from far less corruption practices and leakages could fund APC's social policies. If you dont agree with his points, please tell us why? No need for personal attacks. Do you have any idea how frustrating when a supposed grown man leaves his cage to type ridiculous comments on a public forum?
It is a known fact that most people here are m0r0ns and irredeemably dumb, instead of keeping their clueless ness to themselves they will be glad to throw it to the public.
The only way sanity will be restored here is when sane people stand up to those m0r0ns.
someone came here asking people to drink salt water to cure Ebola, do you have any idea how many kidnies that was threatened by that misinformation?
one Gen Buhari was telling HIV patients to stop taking retro virals that USA wants to kill them with it.
Manny's frustration is not about superiority of opinion, it is a known fact that the Standard of education has fallen in Nigeria and people form opinion based on the nonsense they read here, they act on it because there is no variable of education to challenge such misinformation that is why sane people should not allow misinformation to thrive.
There is no courtesy when you are saving lives, call the person anything you like so he will go back to school to get the basic education. Not every opinion is worthy of public consumption.
Do you know there was a time not every adult was allowed to vote in the United States? you must be an elite to vote, not until Martin Luther was able to prove that most adults in America can make good election decision.
In Nigeria, a 25yr old is still living in a fantasy world, since there is no education to enlighten the person, no social programmes to expose the person, when he comes to a stage as big as the internet, his opinion is only "FIRST TO COMMENT" what kinda nonsense is that from a supposed adult? an individual with such micro brain you will send to elect leadership for you?
Such infantile radical you have given the right to vote and you will be suprised when a nincompoop is elected as head of state.
In 2011, during the days of beaf, I argued frantically why Jonathan should not be elected because his pedigree doesn't check out, 22.5m people went ahead to vote for him today where are we?
The 2011 loyalists are now APC converts what an irony? After the country has been irredeemably mismanaged for 6yrs. As I type, there are people who want to give the failure another 4yrs to fail more.
Go and register in an American, British or French forum and tell me whether you will read "FIRST TO COMMENT" there.
The Nigerian mentality is too shallow that I, Sagamite and Manny4life can no longer pretend about it.
Why cant APC identify areas of waste and estimate how much they will salvage from there? Is it rocket science?
Even Soludo said that Awolowo campaigned that he will stop serving tea in government offices he was able to note to the last kobo how much is involved and where he intends to channel it.
why are you guys so hopelessly dumb?

XKZ: NEPA was a monopoly, Nitel was a monopoly, NNPC is a monopoly. Which option do these firms fall under? Until a few years NNPC was the sole importer of petroleum products. When you have "Govt approved importers" that is not a monopoly seeing that importers is plural. what has NEPA got to do with FOREX? Is NEPA and NNPC now imported into the country? The answer to the question lies only with A or B since you are scared of Yes or No? Even simplifying to Objectives you are still confused, I know someone who may be in the same Academic league with you, He equally attended a roofless class, I will oblige you a referral. XKZ: Is a private firm/importer a government monopoly, Yes or No? When a private firm has a monopoly on the importation of a particular good, it does not place any restriction on the volume/value of imports it brings in as long as it believes there is adequate demand since it's main aim is to make profit. How do governments create monopolies?
(A) By going to china themselves to purchase and have a bill of laden tagged Consignee: "The Nigerian Govt"
OR
(B) Limit the number of Govt approved importers, which is the right answer?
A or B? |

Caseless: show us the evidence that gej actually shared the money to the governors. Is there no difference between ECA and foreign reserve? What was in our foreign reserve b4 gej came on board and what do we have in there right now despite the oil boom? The point the governors made on ECA then was that; since the money was being saved for d rainy days, but the money kept depleting at every meeting ; i.e each time there was a govnor forum's meeting, for example, if they left the meeting with the knowledge of a certain amount in ECA, say $10billion, they come back to the next meeting realising that d money had dropped to say $10billion and, the trend continued. So this was why they decided that since the money is dropping and no one was telling them where the money was going to, it was better they shared the money and this(sharing) never happened. And what gej did to weaken their agitation was to decimate the NGF. Let's face facts, gej has destroyed our economy. Save your breath, after the elections, Most people will move their investments to Ghana, Oil companies did it during the militancy era, it can be repeated in 2015, they are free to come to Ghana to apply for jobs when Jonathan is done with their pigeon brains. |

kmariko: A classic tale of economists measuring who have/ had a bigger manhood on their handling of there respective assignments. In these economic tales, the greatest football match is the one they captained though neither came home with the crown.
If Obasanjo government was so good why are we still in this economic mess...non existence manufacturing index, low productivity, non existent technological index, infrastructure deficit etc. You cannot get something from nothing. Relying on crude oil as the only source of economic analysis belies the paucity of our collective intellect.
Soludo thanks for exposing our "intellectual elite" for what they truly are outside the confines of appointment
Obi won and Obiano got "appointed" is the reality. Deal with it and move on. Let it go Are you aware that Dubai was built with oil wealth in less than 10yrs? Governance is about continuity, Obj did well in some key sectors of the economy, overall, he was average but he laid some pertinent foundations that could not be ignored. Imagine what will happen if the consolidation exercise has maintained the number of bank branches we had since then? banks could finance robust businesses with a reliable stock exchange, we wont be talking about this level of unemployment.
Imagine if Jonathan fine tuned the NIPP with integrity, why wont we have steady electricity? Even to privatize the existing plants, Jonathan could not deliver, where he tried, he managed to sell to his cronies and friends who know next to nothing how to run them.
Imagine if Jonathan continued saving FOREX, with the tempo OBJ used, by now, the naira will not be a piece of paper, cost of living will be ok, you know people don't seem to understand the implications of this devaluation till traders finish their old stocks.
Imagine if Jonathan maintained a debt free profile like OBJ with huge reserves, we wont know what is going on, now that is the ugliest truth.
OBJ was no where near a good leader but the buffoonery of Jonathan has made him a saint. |
