NYSC › Re: Which Institution Offers The Highest Salary For Nysc Workers by jpphilips(m): 10:58am On May 24, 2011
Only a few persons could answer a simple question, the rest want to continue from where their pastors ended, most times i wonder how this system Nigeria functions.

@ OP

the way you sound seems like you have the contacts, NYSC is a sure waste of precious "irrevocable" one year, your country since birth doesn't deserve to be served,i think the people to serve Nigeria should be Swiss bank, IMF and Govt contractors.

Don't make the mistake of joining any big coy now at this stage, if you have interest in oil and gas, go for servicing coys for this one year so u can get some experience, 90% of big coys will leave you jobless immediately after your service year, trust me there are smaller coys that pay well and will beg you to stay after your service.
the choice is yours

I'm all for disciplining a player, but you don't try and prove a point by ostracising one of your best players even after he has apologised. Like siasia himself was not a rebel and a trouble maker in his time! All that and westerhoff still called him up and played him, so why is he being a hypocrite?
I know what osaze Did was out of order, but hey these things happen in modern day football, siasia should just be matured and let the matter die.

Politics › Re: Nigeria Denies Ex-US Envoy, Campbell, Visa by jpphilips(m): 9:02am On May 18, 2011
John Campbell is a scumbag and a very dangerous person indeed. In any other country, we would have had the citizens up in arms over his many false and inflamatory statements, sadly we have a huge population of under-educated fools stricken with the deepest of inferiority complexes; d!ckless ninnies that can't stand their ground and intellectually knock-kneed bumblers and buffoons that somehow reach the wacky conclusion that the US will bomb us for expressing our sovereign right.

Damn! Angry

Even worse than the above group, are those that feel that John Campbell, the tarry arsed Lucifer and all comers have the right to criticise Nigeria and its citizens. Who gave them that right? Surely not any right thinking Nigerian!
The weak idiots who lick every oyibo "critics" arse are so far gone in their affliction with low self esteem that they have become the veritable scion of beelzebub; a danger to themselves and the country.

Irritating.

In Benin Republic next door a non political technocrat, Yayi Boni sought election as president as an independent and beat the candidates of established parties.

The problem with Nigeria is OUR STANDARDS ARE TOO LOW.
You seriously think that if Maurice Iwu was the founder of CPC in a jega led INEC, he will win the head of his family?

They denied a U.S citizen visa and suddenly people feel the Nigerian Government have no right to determine who she allows into her borders . .some are even calling the Federal Government names for exercising her right of sovereignty . . reminding us that Nigeria as a dump ground of the world, we should allow vile elements in the persons of Campbell to take us for a ride  . .you all need to get your head checked for feeling that Nigeria should feel intimidated just because some naughty fellow is an American . . . people inferiority complex do make them say useless things atimes . . .  A U.S citizen was denied and so the fvck what. . .abeg make we her word jare . . .
if i were you, i will concentrate on my sunday school than meddling with affairs of this nature. sovereignty my black c.ock, Pakistan could have sang the same song when The yanks stormed last month.

wait till Obama hears that and bet whether GEJ wont appease the Gods. oh! i forgot he has a PHD in denial

Campbell has every right to criticize things that are wrong with Nigeria; and his speaking truth to GEJ is most welcome.

But why can't his fellow American diplomats speak the truth to Yoweri Museveni who has been ruling Uganda since 1986 and now jails and tortures opposition leaders. Museveni has ruled Uganda for almost as long as Mugabe has ruled Zimbabwe (1980). Is it because Museveni salvaged Uganda from the ruins which Idi Amin left in 1979 that he must remain in power for life? After all, the mere fact Gadaffi provided good infrastructure and high standards of living for Libyans is not the reason why he should remain in power for over 40 years.

Or shall we talk about the apartheid regime in Bahrain where Sunni royal family is ruling over majority Shia population? Why don't the American speak the truth to them? Or is it Saudi Arabia where women are stoned to death for adultery and flogged for immodest dressing even till tomorrow? Is Saudi Arabia a democracy?

Nigerians should indeed welcome honest, well-intentioned and helpful criticism. But with all this hypocrisy and double standards from the West, one is never sure of their real motives in criticizing African leaders.

Except for Bahrain, none of the countries mentioned above is complaining or you want to complain on their behalf? at the very least a massive protest behooves such malfeasance so y will the yanks step in?
what will be their interest in the end, perhaps Ugandian chimpmonks grin grin grin

Hmm! This is interesting. I think that serves him better Tongue Why should we allow a man who wants to destroy us to come around to implement his evil deeds? When he succeeds in his evil implementation he would come out and say "did i not say they will disintegrate?",  make him stay for US there jor nonsense
not to worry, Nigeria lost focus before you were born

This is the same Nigeria that was crying like a little biotch when the U.S. placed it on a terrorism list after Mutallab failed attempt at detonating a bomb aboard a flight to the U.S.

My point is that if he was denied a visa because of his constructive criticism of Nigeria, then I don't think it is a good way to treat a former diplomat.

Many NLs and Nigerians speak as if they half 10% worth of brain in them. They jump at every opportunity to rejoice when it appears as though the Nigerian govt. is wielding some kind of power, and do not take time to think about the reasons why such power was wielded in the first place.

Walter Carrington, also a former ambassador to Nigeria, vehemently and unequivocally condemned the Abacha regime's disrespect for democracy and human rights.

According to the reasoning of NLs, had Abacha denied Walter Carrington a visa to Nigeria to help campaign for human rights, many NLs would laud the Abacha regime for wielding a Kangaroo power, even though wielding such power would be an Attempt by Abacha to silence the voice of the opposition. Similarly, the GEJ regime is trying to silence the opposition by denying a former diplomat a visa to the country, and many NLs are supporting that move because it is an exercise of Kangaroo power. It shows GEJ's disrespect for free speech and dissident views, to put it mildly. Again, a diplomat is criticizing a corrupt Nigerian regime, presumably in an attempt to save Nigerian citizens and Nigeria from these tyrants who have destroyed our country, and yet we are supporting the corrupt government while disregarding message of the speaker whose visa had been denied.

I now see that Nigerians deserve the suffering they are undergoing. My 2 cents.
please save your breath, now u understand why jona had over 20million votes

Stop being pathetic. . .Nigeria is a SOVEREIGN nation and has every right to chose what's good for the protection of her integrity. If Nigeria has decided to deny anybody entry into her territory,it's left for the nigerian state to know how to manage the consequence of that action.
this is not an affair of inter-state and this guy is not coming as a diplomat but on a private visit,so there is no diplomatic privileges that would have granted him any access into Nigeria borders.he's just like any other us citizens that may be denied entry visa.
stop ranting like a kid ie if you are not one, you are only a realistic sovereign power when you have a voice in the world stage, for now, Naija is busy with corruption. All America needs is to say al quaeda is in Aso rock and the next minute jonathan is sleeping in Ogbomosho till America says otherwise.
identify your mates when you see one, America is not one of them.
don't forget, the F22 Raptor is not your everyday bird in the sky grin grin grin

We really do not care if the US decides to deny visa to any of our top government functionaries as they have been doing that since. In any event, I think the US needs us more than we need them because as they say, 'he that is down needs fear no fall'. If only Nigeria would stop underestimating the value and power in our natural resources, the US would think twice before taking any vindictive action against Nigeria and Nigerians.
Another SSCE leaver on rampage, natural resources that the yanks are helping you explore, without them, where will you be with your "Natural resources" while they were busy innovating through research and technology you and your fathers were busy forming AREWA peoples forum and OHANEZE ndi IGBO, now you just realized you have resources. you make me laugh

as usual your belligerent and loquacious self is on the wrong end of an argument. dude it does not matter what a regime espouses, so long as it is sovereign, it has the right to deny anyone entry visa if such person have been known to castigate the country. its not an issue of right or wrong. its an issue of national security. this man can incite unrest in nigeria with his speeches. we dont need that. micheal savage an american talk show host has been barred from entering britain because his anti-britain speeches can cause unrest in britain. the british govt reserves the right to exclude him from their country even though what the guy says about britain is very true.
In the world of today, "Sovereign" in the real sense is a luxury for a corrupt un progressive country like Nigeria not when a power like the US is involved, if you are in doubt consult the ambassadors of the following countries;

IRAQ
AFGHANISTAN
LIBYA
PAKISTAN
IVORY COAST
CDR
RWANDA
YEMEN
KDR
to mention but a few.

Except for a very few, most of you here lack rational reasoning.

you want to score an electoral process and you use violence as your yardstick, whats the connection?
since when has Inec become a law enforcement agency of public complaint commission?

IMO list places where candidates are popular and juxtapose with the votes accrued to them, imagine an iwu that assigned 100% registered votes to a politician?
or you will think buhari won in Bayelsa? those are the only credible yardstick you can use not all these claptrap you guys are spewing.
for God's sake iwu did a good job on a tight leach. the only thing i found disgusting was the foundation of Inec, the president was a flag bearer and he appoints the INEC chief i term it conflict of interest, the house confirmation was mere formality.

what happened to selecting the inec boss through parliamentary referendum?.

For the first time in our history I saw majority voting the likes of Ngige and he turns out winner, fashola,Amechi Rochas etc.

power of incumbency or not, Nigerians Got their candidate of choice and Jega only guaranteed that.

A few months old CPC got a state and a runner up presidential candidate now, that is the people talking

@ Kobojunkie,

Why not blame your Government for not adequately providing security for the people? 16000, and counting, is the estimated number of deaths by riot since 1999. These riots have become regular as it happens every other month, yet in all 12 years, the response of the Government remains seriously lacking and our police force still remains inadequately effective in quelling the situation. What are we paying the Government? To sit back so we can continue hating each other and deciding who to blame come every riot?

When Katrina happened in America and riots broke out, did you see people on TV blaming black people or white people? NO, they all turned to blame the Government for not providing adequate security and provisions for the people. Why can't we step out of ourselves for once to think properly as a nationhuh

three yrs on they have opened branches local and international, 5yrs on they have met a reputation of world class terrorists. our solution is Arms buy back and Amnesty.

today we have the almajiris in the north, what i expect a reasonable govt to do is prior to elections, a special force could have been nominated, trained and equipped for such mission, the clerics, politicians that mobilize them would have been isolated quietly and we will have our peace.
i wont be surprised if the DMI doesn't even know where to start from, give them a chance, they go on killing spree.
the beauty of democracy live with clueless jo boy and don't complain when your father dies up north.

If ordinary forumites claim that Buhari's speeches were 'inciting', shouldn't the SSS, Police and army have had similar concerns and should have been on ground to curtail any violence?

After 9/11, Americans turned to their President, the FBI and CIA for answers and explanations on how that tragedy was allowed to happen. Since then, these agencies have become more proactive. It's only in Nigeria where majority of the people are complacent SHEEP that we are all content with our Government being reactive, mere months after hundreds were slaughtered in Jos in the past few months.

who experienced first hand the acrimony of these almajiris during his campaign by now should have liased with the defence ministry for a special squad whose mission is to mix and gather intelligence on the brains behind these disgruntled youth, be it imans, politicians, elites etc

Nigerians dont pay tax, the word used should be oil money. All the same its still the national treasury that is being looted. Nigeria is making a sh,it load of money at the moment as oil prices are very high and we're producing over 2m barrels per day. 2.5m X $102, do the maths, N100m is actually change
Ignorance of the highest order, a confused leadership and a disgruntled follower ship keeps Nigeria sailing.
you have not heard of VAT? guess that one goes to your account.

Every civil servant pay tax a monthly deduction from their salaries same is applicable to company and factory workers. Every business pay tax in Nigeria.

Even Okada buys daily local Govt ticket

taxis have daily tickets same for shops what they call Revenue.

nevertheless, i understand the rate of unemployment and decayed Academic institutions that should have taught you that.

@ OP

I really do not bother much responding on nairaland because of the misconceptions Nigerian Diasporas have about Nigeria. it is one thing talking about your birth place and it is another understanding the realities on ground.
personally, i employed all sentiments in my choice of a presidential candidate unfortunately all failed me

MY RELIGION CARD

As a christian, yes i want a christian but when i look at the person of GEJ i think he falls out of the christian canopy. For a man as a Governor to steal directly (by himself) or indirectly (through his relatives) from a state which have remained in perpetual squalor is inhuman and demonic.
Before you start your argument, aside the EFCC report on his wife, can anyone please compare the account balance of GEJ as a lecturer, as a gov. then as a president,  you will be amazed that the word "STEAL" is an understatement.
furthermore, for a christian to have the unbridled temerity to bribe a man of God (SNG) is an affront to his creator and a biblical catastrophe. i guess the religion card did not fly.

MY TRIBAL CARD

GEJ is an ijaw man no doubt, i was privy to a lot of contracts awarded by his administration as a state governor ostensibly to better the life of his people unfortunately in reality, that assumption remains a mirage. I for one has visited a lot of sand filling sites, road projects etc during his administration i do not think that he has the interest of his people at heart. please do not misconstrue my assertion but in your leisure time, take a trip to bayelsa and ply those roads before you start second guessing me.
we may likely see the same prayer the SW prayed when obj assumed power and we may likely juxtapose those wishes with his score card after 8yrs. it is no longer news that most SW common Nigerians will rather gamble a CPC or an ACN but not a PDP.
I believe rational ijaws may wish to learn from it

MY REGIONAL CARD

I for one has spent an ample time in the south. I can conveniently say that the predicament of the southerners were meted to them more amongst themselves than outside, guess my regional card is questionable. take for example
Peter odili a member of PDP and a southerner as well had all it takes to bring glory to rivers state today, Amaechi is a messiah for constructing roads, schools and hospitals. only if the rivers people will have the opportunity to see how much that accrues to their govt. and juxtapose it with the deeds of their leaders.
I really don't blame them, after all, one of theirs constructed a 50mw turbine with $6bn yet trans Amadi remains in darkness till date. Hope we still rem. peter!!peter!!Peter!!! grin grin grin
what can I say about James Ibori? Alams,Timipriye Sylva and co. The regional card may stand a chance if someone like Donald duke was in GEJ's shoes. unfortunately, he is not.

As a realist, I have analyzed the problem of this country and i have come to the conclusion that we will be great without corruption and financial discipline. I laugh at people who always compare our level of corruption with the communist Chinese, i bet they are speaking from outside the shores of this country. believe me this country has decayed to rot.Nothing is working. A society where things are not done without interest where the word "MERIT" no longer exist.

I was recently consulted for a Govt project and a young man approached me and submitted a fascinating proposal which i promised to push forward . 2wks later he returned with smiles of hope on his face to inquire about the status of his brilliant idea, shaking my head, i told him the proposal didn't fly.
out of frustration,he persuaded to know why and i simply told him that the bank recommended by the Govt think it is not good enough.
though he left to try harder but i know that worse proposals have gotten express approvals and this young man's only crime was the fact that he walked through the front door.

Though i am convinced a lot of minors play around the politics section and Nigerians in Diaspora lack a panoramic picture of the situation in the country, i will also quickly add that a lot of youths in this country does not know where their problem lies.
sometimes I don't blame them considering the epileptic academic institution that produce them.

For all you PDP supporters, Nigerians are suffering, people are hungry, good talents are wasting, the nation needs a change. I want a Nigeria that works, I want a Nigeria that take the petitions of citizens seriously, I want a Nigeria with an independent judiciary, I want a Nigeria with an equal educational right, i believe a lot of other Nigerians share this same sentiment.

The bigger question is this; Is Jonathan the Man that will give it to Us judging by his antecedents and Romance with the cabal?
the answer is NO

Should Jonathan win this election, Nigeria is Finished.

yes oh GEJ must win by the grace of God. Despite d fact dat many tink he has gotten to dis point jst by luck, i see the finger of God in it. A man who became the President of this great country and commander in chief without printing even one poster, a position dat many hav fought for, longed for, bribed for, and evn killed for, he got without raising a finger. His maturity and serenity evn in d midst of the turbulence n physical, verbal, emotional, n psychological battering that he recieved during the Late president(of blessed memory)'s illness, from Nigerians, The press, n those who wia sitting on power while the gentle president was lying critically ill, can be equalled to non. He didnt even breakdown, rave , rant or take laws into his hands, rather he was concerned about his senior colleague, and extraordinarily patient. Patience is a virtue that is hard to cultivate, so is long suffering. It can only be cultivated by the extreme wisdom of the wise, and GEJ has barrels full of these virtues n they are the first nided by every president

^^^
Are you in this country? i was almost swayed by your polemic rhetoric above, a critical analysis of the Yaradua saga cannot be interpreted as humility but Fear and lack of vision.

Yes, I accept, the presidency fell on his palms but give me one example of a serendipity that makes the best of it?
You cant give something free to someone and expect him to utilize it.
your analogy eludes common sense.

Look at Mbadinuju est while Gov. of Anambra state for instance, he was an Onitsha charge and bail lawyer before Sir Emeka offor picked him up, dusted him, campaigned for him and gave him Anambra for free. today it is on record that he is the worst Gov. Nigeria has ever produced. Things don't work that way, royalty is in born and when you attain it through struggle, you remain your best.

Going by your Analogy, Jonathan can be likened to a Yahoo man who write letters to Maga to pay, in the end what do they do with the money they never worked for?

Haven t you noticed the spurious spending of this administration? no visible development only promises.your first lady now takes her community to state functions abroad while at home, she sponsors political aspirants.

believe me to Jonathan, Nigeria is his Maga and so far his Maga is paying.

the issue is, the south do not truth the north. And the south would be silly to hand over power to the north since we have seen satellite pictures. So any one still dreaming of a northern president, should forget .

The truth is many southerner believe a southerner should remain president. And I cant tell you southerner do not care if a war break out of this.

You have to understand the northerner in power have been abusive for 40 years to the south. Even if the north use the military the south would blow all the bridge linking the south and the north together.  So it is important the north must understand that in this relation. If they want the president, it would be hard for them to get back power.

Many southerner  do not share Pastor bakare believe. I am a Yoruba and I do not agree with Bakare do or die , I will save Nigeria from break up. I am for break up of Nigeria, and so are 90% of Yoruba people. So Pastor bakare view of Nigeria is not a reflection of the Yoruba people.  Pastor is on his own view and not a view of the Yoruba people.

The issue is , there are other people also running even dele momodu, pat utomi etc.    As a Yoruba , why would I want to support bakare when I can support dele momodu and others.  as long as the north refuse to agree with the satellite pictures, many southerners believe that the south should remain in power, since the south contribute 100% of the revenue.
^^^

Unless you can explain how satellite imagery can solve our unemployment crisis,U cant rationalize wasting 1016 letters.

All the same, with a corruption bag like jonathan, Elections cannot be free and fair so stop wishing. the question is; what do we do after he has stolen our mandate?

@ sienna

its ironical referencing Nigeria while you give inferences that are not obtainable in Naija.
mathematically, the extra mpg is an acceptable loss for every average Nigerian truth be told, u made mention of maintenance, that is not totally correct for an average Nigerian.
Alternative fuel, u re kidding me.
Why will i drive a vehicle that will take me weeks to fix? where is the convenience?
if you check the price of DPK vs PMS (150 vs 65) then you will agree with me you are not saving anything, much less the inconvenience of sourcing for a product that for years was monopolized by a few individuals.
do u know that 70% of hilux trucks in naija are still diesel powered?
100% of heavy duty engines are diesel powered , trucks and equipments, but you don't have the least inkling what those people pass through.

simple economics tells you that cost, availability and convenience is the onus of opportunity cost, i don't see where DPK fulfill the above better than PMS in naija.
lastly, why will i scout for spent oil when i can get a liter of PMS at 65bucks just in front of my gate just to drive the same vehicle which has pms option? trust me it defyies all sane factors of choice grin grin

The 2011 budget being the first budget based on the Vision 20:2020’s First National Implementation Plan is targeted at helping Nigeria gain self sufficiency in many aspects. I shall be taking time out during the coming weeks to update you on the various ways this budget envisages that this would be done. For example, in the area of health and agriculture, the government has gone a long way to ensure that Nigeria can both feed itself and care for its population.

As part of the budgetary allocation to the health sector are funds to establish scientific research institutes that will focus on areas that directly impact health care in Nigeria such as HIV, Malaria, Cholera, Sickle Cell Anaemia and Cancer. We are committed to ensuring that the ingenuity of the Nigerian scientist is applied towards solving our greatest health care challenges knowing that because some of these diseases are peculiar to Africa, they may not be a priority to the research institutes of governmental and private pharmaceutical research industries of the West.

In the agricultural sector, the budget makes provision to continue government's investment in the sector which has as its aim to make Nigeria self sufficient in food production. The Commercial Agricultural Credit Scheme (CACS) will be continued and pursued with more vigour. Already, 96 billion Naira of the 200 billion Naira earmarked for that scheme has been released in 18 states. The Ministry of Transport is poised this year to revive the rail ways and is devoting focused attention to those routes that will help get cash crops from the agrarian communities to the major commercial outlets. Provision has been made to build more silos and maintain those already in existence. In fact 54.22 billion Naira is earmarked for Food Security comprising N29.46 billion for Agriculture and 24.76 billion Naira for Water Resources.

I specifically requested that the Minister of Agriculture and his team apply intelligent ideas to mechanising our agriculture and all such ideas were implemented in the budget such that water will flow in almost every agricultural community in Nigeria because as a zoologist I know that food grows were water flows

Government is also planning big for Human Capital Development of which 102.3 billion Naira has been earmarked for that purpose with 35.01 billion Naira for Education, 33.35 billion Naira for Health, 33.81 billion Naira for the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) interventions. I have always been convinced that Nigeria will develop when Nigerians are developed hence government's huge investment in developing personnel

These are just a few of the plans we will be implementing this year. As I have already said above I will be taking time to tell you more about our plans for Nigeria in other sectors in the coming weeks. GEJ
I picked this up from one of GEJ's homepage on FB. gosh i couldn't believe that he has gone beyond primary education.he is so clueless, i think its time we asked him what his mission in Govt is.

Health, Agriculture etc have been a problem in this country before you were born, please can someone help me tell "JONA THE FISHERMAN" that what Nigerians want to hear is STRATEGY and HARD WORK.

Please can someone remind JONA that countries of the west has funded and are still funding the above research projects, in the case of HIV and sickle cell especially. that what an average Nigeria needs is a comprehensive health care packaged and executed by Govt hospitals, that way, the Govt can pick up a percentage of our basic health care bills.
this will attract foreign investments in drug dispensing. Why fund a research that already has existing drugs (malaria) when we can just buy or compel them to manufacture it locally? unless he is looking for an avenue to enrich his cronies embarassed embarassed

Is this man mental or what? CACs has been receiving funding from time immemorial without result and he is still dashing them 96billion. jonathan are you mad? the price of onions is at record height and you are still wasting funds on those your PDP allies that pocket the money.
did you check the financial books of CAC before coming up with this idea? jona is the only employer that gives promotion without appraisal.
with 133 aides and advisers you still need ministry of agriculture to come up with intelligent ideas on how to mechanize agriculture.lol and when they have none, you proceed to church as usual BINGO grin grin grin grin grin tell us you want to steal money we can understand.

Chei PDP has finished us. what exactly do you want to do in the education sector? what new contents are we going to witness in their curriculum to guarantee this brilliant idea of yours? 33.35 billion naira for health for what programme designed to achieve what?
I am sorry for your supporters if and only if they can open their eyes to see how clueless you are. Another wasted 4yrs

GEJ within a short period has scored above average, if those scoring him are realist, and not some embittered Nigerians who blame govt for all their woes,

1. fixed the petroleum brouhaha. All Our refineries are working  - checked (that affected my life, atleast, im not queuing shamelessly with gallons no more)
Sorry mate, all the new PRCN high power pumps were procured by the OBJ administration, but his personal interests couldn't let him award an integrated turn around maintenance contract, the whole pumps where dumped at NPA till yaradua came in. it was yaradua that gave the order to install them with immediate effect not JONATHAN, lest i forget please show me where you buy diesel so that my life will equally be affected

2. content bill passed - checked (i wonder how many of you know what it means, and it will change lives of many graduates) We have more bills to go like PIB,
anyways it seems you are reading a script from a PDP manifesto pamphlet, take your time to study the new petroluem act and tell me how it affects the man on the street, its's main focus is on the indegenisation of the oil and gas sector, this was a dream obasanjo needed a third term to actualize but Atiku couldn't let him.
he tried using yaradua for same but faith denied him, now jona is the sacrificial lamb.

if the oil and gas industry is indegenised trust me it will be a good thing, a lot of oyibo will go, you and I can become active players in the oil and gas industry,  see the reality on ground.
the oil and gas business is a very capital intensive project at times not all insurance and indigenous banks have the capacity to fund oil and gas exploration contracts so we fall back to the mercy of politicians like Rilwanu lukman (afren) obj etc who now in turns buys over the assets oyibo is leaving behind.

Havent understood that, do you know that as i type, 90% of Indegenious companies pay their staff less than fedral civil servants not minding the risk associated with the job?
bring two companies one managed by oyibo and the other by Nigerians on same operation and the disparity will overwhelming. don't get me wrong, the black man makes as much money or even more(via corruption) but has no regard for his workforce while the oyibo believes that his workforce is the backbone of his success.

What a discerning mind like me thought was that Jonathan could have rated the oil and gas operations by risk and peg a living wage for it so that when indeginised everyone will fall under a blue print and a standard. but i know the interest, look around you, how many oil and gas companies jona has with his cronies? those investments needs to be protected and indigenisation is a sure bet. but between us, it is the gateway to black man's slavery.
Jona goofed big time!!!!

3. NPF is facing a big time reshuffle and re-orientation (for the 1st time, we have a leader who took them off the check points from killing citizens, and for once, I can drive around with peace knowing some naughty person wont shoot me over N20, and this is affecting the average commuters in Nigeria positively).
You are a professional liar with a certificate. from my house to my office are four standard police check points for cabs and buses, a distance of less than 2km.

4. We are almost overshooting our daily opec quota . why? because MEND and its many factions are getting checked (its difficult enough to control Nigerians, we think we are too smart, let alone an armed guy who feels hes been subjugated and needs to take what he feel is his, it will be tough fight against MEND, especially when they feel the guy on-top is one of theirs).
Another professional lie. our opec quoter is being met because yaradua initiated an amnesty programme not JONATHAN. in clear terms, do you know what AMNESTY means? it is a mockery of a government's armed forces. how could ordinary sword carrying millitia of no military training and experience hold a great country to ransom and you call that an achievement?
even a toddler in isreal knows that his Govt doesn't negotiate with terrorists.
We negotiated with terrorists for Gods sake and that is where our foreign reserve went to. we paid them off. it is an insult to the taxpayer who commit more than 20% of the national budget to the armed forces since the military junta. today they have absolutely nothing to show for it. in Liberia they were busy impregnating women, they thought that the demise of sergent mosquito was the end of insurgence after 9yrs of our wasted funds there was no transition to a civilian govt, thanks to NATO that saw Sir leaf Johnson to power.
bunch of crappy losers.
today the price of crude is soaring high tomorrow jona will use it to settle IBB and tell you it is "HARMONISATION OF PDP" shame shame shame!!!!!!  what did the JTF achieve in the delta for 5yrs with 10,000 soldiers?

we could have stood up to those militants for God's sake and send a strong message to deter further insurgence that is what a responsible GOVT does, today after paying off millitants, we will pay off terrorists that bomb abuja and perhaps pay off jonathan to leave power come 2015 arrant nonsense!!!!!!

5. PHCN workers are been paid off. PHCN is getting privatized, and it wont be just another political movie. We handle construction works for AFC, and thats one of the company thats getting ready to buy PHCN, though PHCN wont be sold to a company linked with Charles Soludo and many ex-bankers. And did you notice the improvement in electricity supply despite the fact PHCN staff are doing their best to sabotage the privatization moves?
You must be living in IRAN, call a staff of PHCN and ask him the terms of Pay off then you will weep for this administration, he now wants to privatize obj's NIPP project abi? what about his own? how far? the $250m that will set Nigeria on fire. His 10,000mw lol GEJ is a freaking clueless looser.

6. And he has increased workers wages, and maintain industrial harmony among workers.
"HARMONISE" in what sense? the one state GOVT has already rejected and he is blackmailing them, lol is it the problem of this country? let me ask you? what is the productivity of most federal civil servants, go to any federal secretariat in your jurisdiction and see an able bodied young man reporting for duty once in a month and you increase their salary?
what a waste, their staff strength is over bloated at times you receive employment letter without job description and jona in his infinite wisdom went to `increase their salary".
shame shame shame!!!!
same reason after so many years of joint venture with multinationals NNPC cannot boast of a production platform solely owned by them let alone FPSO. except for last 2 yrs or so, now , ask yourself the so called over 15,000 workers there what are they doing? Go to italy and see that the ENI grop has conqured Europe spread to north Africa and has established presence in Nigeria (AGIP and SAIPEM) our almighty NNPC is still playing around imo and Akwaibom states, once again
shame to PDP.

7. For once, we have a president who is operating an "Open System". How many of you ever got your views through UMY? Or to OBJ?
that same "open system" he is using to campaign and rally support from the likes of beaf in the diaspora will turn around to revolt him. Obama's blackberry was suspended immediately he became president, bush never sent personal email by proxy and we have a p.orn watching, jobless, clueless president that spend a lifetime on the internet when the Nation is in Disarray once again, shame on him.

8. There has been a sincere move to work on our educational systems. We need more tertiary institutions, and we have a president who strongly believes the quality of education needs to be changed. You dont change quality in 9 months! Not when you are an accidental leader who feels obligated to make a change.
What moves exactly are you talking about?

The last time i checked, chibuike rotimi amaechi a product of his same PDP in 1yr 8months, renovated, revamped and equipped over 850 schools in rivers state to world standard if in doubt visit Rukpoku community primary school and see for yourself.
first time in the history of This nation we saw a product of PDP installing standard lawn tennis, basket ball court, standard synthetic tracks for field events etc let alone the edifice he erected.

please tell me exactly what your GEJ is doing for the education sector in 1yr  because i have on record what Amaechi his PDP cohort is doing?

Admit it now that you have the chance GEJ is a clueless, incompetent ,d.ick head.

bye bye PDP

What is this noise about PTF?
I am from Anambra State and we did not know if PTF existed or not? Is Anambra not part of Nigeria?

The only thing I know about Buhari was that he and his group of over zealous soldiers (like IBB and Abacha) used the gun given to them to defend our constitution to trample on the same constitution. You guys can vote for him, but the worst mistake Nigerians will make is to use their koro koro eyes to vote a tyrant into power. Once a general, always a general. A vote for Buhari is a vote for slavery.

Buhari is nothing be a gold digger. First he used gun to take over government, then next, despite the open market evil deeds of Abacha, he agreed to serve under him. Where was he when Abacha was looting? Have we forgotten so soon that he worked with the dreaded Abacha?

GEJ remains the best option in moving this complex system called Nigeria forward.

Some Achievements of GEJ include:

no fuel scarcity

four airlines (Arik, Continental, Delta and United), with direct flights from the United States (US)

five functional international airports.

the reopening of three textile mills in Kaduna that had previously been closed including the United Nigeria Textile Mills Ltd.; which has reopened as a result of accessing funds from the N200 billion textile industry bail out funds leading to the re engagement of 2000 workers that were laid off when the company went out of business.

addition of one new Federal University in each of the six geo-politcal zones for which work has already begun. The six new federal universities did not exist last year

etc,
Oga no vex oooo, how much did you buy a litre of diesel (DPK) before Jona's inauguration and how much did you buy it today?
