Please can u help with this VIN JNKCA31A21T008702 |
The person that posted this, is a very big fool, with and empty skull. If you do not know keep quiet or you ask.Listen let me inform you.You are a cheap lying rat without conscience. how did GEJ stabilize the price of petroleum products? what did you buy diesel under yaradua and how much are you buying it now? was fuel scarcity a natural problem of Nigeria or a fall out of OBJ's Dementia? Obj restricted active participation in the downstream sector that was why you have the likes of otedola monopolizing the sector and his Oando by proxy. I put it to you that Igbo,Hausa and some yoruba importers has the capacity to flood this nation with petroleum products crashing the price to where u cant imagine. OBJ created a problem does not mean it is a problem, it was borne out of selfish interest. tell me the ease in building materials was a problem too? when OBJ withdrew ibeto's license the only strong competitor Dangote has. bottom line it was never a problem. His administration stole much money that could have set up not fewer than 10 refineries so how is the scarcity a problem? GEJ did no shit, my daughter in kindergarten could do better. crude oil export quoter indeed, it is either you have a media gadget deceiving you in your house or you are plain asinine. please upgrade from GRAMOPHONE to PROPER RADIO even if na TRIDENT or world reciever you are better off with that or better still upgrade your black and white TV to colored to differentiate between Yaradua and Jonathan. AMNESTY was an Integral part of the Yaradua's administration, by the time jonathan took over, the militants have graduated from mere militants (local militia) to terrorists (of international repute) with presidential mouthpiece, is that what you call an achievement? At this verge i must be forced to ask if you reside in Nigeria or your spirit was left behind while you left on exile with beaf? The only visible electricity improvement is what is left of the NIPP contract by OBJ not GEJ (after feasting on the capital) which cost them about $16bn, $6bn and his recent $250m, i put it to you that this amount of money is enough for Nigeria, chad and Cameroon to have stable electricity. is it what you call achievement? poll Nairaland on the light situation of their residence and see how corrupt and clueless your GEJ is. On foreign policies, i can gladly conclude now that you need medical attention. under Jonathan's nose, the Chinese Govt summarily executed Nigerians on trumped up charges without due process what did he do? even Amnesty international couldn't believe our foreign affairs ministry we have over 1000 Nigerian inmates in the UK prison, people that have been begging Jonathan to repatriate them to serve their jail terms closer to family members what did he do? ok i will tell you, he sold our debt bonds at higher rates to foreign corporations and painted that it will benefit indigenous corporations, may i remind you that he is sitting on the board of three of such "indigenous corporations" as CEO, lest i forget, he was busy bringing back beaf's father from Egypt when they were not a target of citizens fighting for regime change . so dumbi guess it is only you that doesn't know that ordinary india and its likes are lobbying for elective seats in the security council (one organization that decides the faith of all nations) and your GEJ is busy tutoring his wife on basic Grammar. Believe you me, GEJ is as clueless as his face. he doesn't deserve ASO ROCK |
@ obatala I would have said something to you but reading, your post, i knew there is something wrong somewhere so personally i don't care to find out. only if you have the least inkling of the kinda research i did on buhari spanning from his school days, to his military days, colleagues which convinced me beyond every reasonable doubt. you wont understand why i changed my profile. Thank God the likes of Alphabet43,beaf et al are not even in the country as such they are neither eligible to register nor vote, perhaps you guys can delude GEJ that he has online votes no wonder he spends more time on facebook (even when jos burns). bottom line if corruption managed to catapult you guys overseas, don't bother coming back else our reformed police under Buhari and Bakare will check you into the nearest prison. It seems you dont understand my view. Firstly, politicians are liars, agreed! but I really want you to weigh certainties in the midst of uncertainties.whoever made the above comment is either in prison or in a deliverance session. you don't see them making a change in one term because PDP tells you otherwise, because a daft like OBJ tells you that "free and fair election is a mirage". same who said he doesn't know why we shouldn't buy petrol at 100 bucks because we can afford two bottles of beer. same who told us that steady light is not attainable and you believe that gay? what a myopic mind like you don't see is that the problems of this country is man made and it doesn't take rocket science to solve. let me give you an example, what will it take to call for a national conference? don't you know that if the FG wants it this weekend, by friday all stakeholders will be there. if they reach a compromise for immunity to be es-ponged from the constitution by Monday. and the books of Theodore orji is opened on Friday, how is it impossible for him to be on awaiting trial by Saturday the next week. except for kobojunkie and a few realistic minds, the rest (especially the ones abroad) are mere asinine or literary daft. Are you saying that if a serving governor makes it to kirikiri in less than a month that the rest will still be corrupt? i have said this for the upteenth time if you are a governor and you run out of ideas, just celebrate your office and leave our money intact pending when someone with ideas turn up. what do you think will turn the police around? A disciplinary committee is set up for police affairs and a member of the BB team becomes the head, passing your street you bring forth evidence of police brutality or corruption and the next day you hear that the officer is dismissed do you think we will still be having pot bellied officers? How long do you think it will take the presidential task force to be making deductions from seating allowances of senators (for the ones that never seat) and channel it to UBE as bonuses for the primary school teachers? you seem not to understand this country at all. How long do you think it will take to place embargo on employment for all companies, where the FG sets up an agency like JAMB or WAEC (something similar to that). once you graduate, you write their exam in line with your field and a score point is issued to you. your name enters a data base. if a company needs an Engr for instance, they refer to the agency who recommends high score people for employment, a duo of experienced data base and trainee database, now, tell me why our brilliant youths will not be getting jobs by merit? same can be likened to all the problems of this country, the solution to our problems are not far fetched but the hooligans in power(PDP) have refused blatantly to do the right thing. My only happiness is that majority of GEJ's supporters are not eligible voters. BB all the way, the messiah will come when? lol dont sound like the pharasees, the messiah is here already, all they need is your vote, the time for change is now, the time to have good roads is now, the time to have polite officers is now,the time to have jobs and economic emancipation is now, the time for good health care delivery is now. lastly the time to jail IBB, OBJ and Atiku is now. who said Nigeria is cursed? |

Interesting, from this post I now conclude that most people that posts comment here are educated illiterate. In law they say justice must not only be done, it must be seen to have been done. when a promotion become an instrument for humuliation, does that promotion be said to be in good faith? As Nigerians don't we anymore a single sense of justice. A man is here saying that his promotion is humiliation yet we re not ready to see thru the lines. Even when enlightened opinions of competent members of the bar is posted above , most illiterate minds on this forum could still not see sense in the opinions of Sagay and others. It is a pity for Nigeria, the young people of today are not intellectually inclined. Now you understand why majority of Nigerians are illiterates wait till beaf and Jakumo comment I Say it for the umpteenth time, GEJ cannot and will not and is not destined to win a free and fair election. first was paying as much as $7000 to delegates and quarantining them second approving the use of Data capturing machines without a central data base (opposition dont have access) Third is the Promotion of Salami.(in case opposition goes to court for his Guber puppets) his strategies have been unveiled we now know the miscreant we have as a president. unfortunately millions of Nigerians are as blind as their leaders. the comments above simply tells me that majority of Nigerians deserve the leadership they are getting ONE MAN ONE VOTE MY A.RSE |
Is the corolla in the country and who bears the clearing cost? in ur advertorial i didn't see any address, do you have an address in Nigeria please reply ASAP |

The above specs are SA while the s,le re US. |
@ Marvix If we really want to be honest with our analysis, we would all agree that Jonathan is trying his best to ensure that the elections are credible fair and free to his best capability, the current registration would surely seve better to ensure a one man one vote, and Jonathan is letting all this because he can tell fairly that in a free and fair contest he stands a good chance of claiming the presidency no matter how many of his govs and senators fall off.I totally disagree with you. jonathan is a mere PDP stooge and please dont tell me about free and fair election, PDP has started rigging already, tell me any country that has a data capturing machine without a data base? or haven't you heard that His Honor Salami has been 'promoted'. |
@ na-sowhy are you twisting common sense? should i beg you to employ the least thing that kills mosquito for you at night. the above statement can be rightly put thus; Amongst every person in my team, i can only trust my cousin wholesomely so that i don't need to be vetting papers and as someone that knows what our family stands for i bet he will not embarrass me now tell me, what is wrong with that? "especially when no law forbids him as at the time of event" on the other hand the nephew thought thus; "my uncle whom i know so much has given me an opportunity unfortunately i have betrayed him, i know him so well that i cant stand his heat i rather take my own life" (coming from a rich Nigerian that loves life) i think he never wanted to underestimate his uncle because killing is the least his uncle will do to clear his name the above is what i call "zero tolerance for corruption" and that is what Nigeria of today needs. let us liken this scenario with what PDP has been feeding us these years, Obasanjo's daughter was embroiled in an embezzlement saga. all of us saw how relaxed and composed she was during the "quasi" trial (i don't know if you followed the proceedings) but i can still remember her being on the phone almost all the time in a trial of that magnitude. Commonsensically speaking, the above demeanor sends just one message "you guys are wasting my time here, you don't know who my father is" if Iyabo were Buhari's Daughter she should be spinning with a ceiling fan by now . hope you see the difference, dont let PDP money or beaf's arrogance sway you, let me believe and trust you are an adult that believes the right thing needs to be done in this country. u said and i quote Quotethis is a very good question. but yes he is a human being and he trusts his nephew to do the right thing unfortunately the guy embarrassed him. In other words we can trust that we will be getting jobs on Buhari's trust and merit while we hug a transformer once you betray that trust. hope your question has been answered? We want an Administration that will take Tax payer's money and account for it imagine if Olabode George took his life for stealing 80bn naira peter odili jumps into the Niger for stealling from Rivers state Ibori got a lethal injection for stealing from Delta state while OBJ face a firing squad for milking us dry, do you really think that we will have an Atiku that will be flounting his wealth with his "no shaking" face? i bet he could have been on exile in Zimbabwe during the presidential primaries. this is the Nigeria i dream for, this is the Nigeria i support and if my vote will make it happen. God knows i have voted for buhari in advance. Our diocese in the east is planning a fund raising dinner for general Buhari, you are cordially invited, will let you know when the date is out. Quote I dont want to delve into the issue of 54 suitecases, if you really intend to polish Buhari's image i would advise you ignore that area, as your explanations seem to be doing more damage to him. PTF was for over 4 years, now do you know that over 45% of the entire PTF projects went to Buhari's north west zone? If that is not corruption , then tell me what that is? Please kindly delve into the suitcase issue perhaps it will convince more cynics to vote for CHANGE in BUHARI. please tell us the total PTF contract and its distribution so i can personally do the maths to figure if 45% went North west Zone and as you do that please find out if it has any presidential influence because the last time i checked, It was a northern Head of state that gave him the job. until we see your facts, we will take a decision on that. about the question you asked Honeric, OBJ hate him with passion as such would have jailed him if he had something on him, he must have even invited prophets to look spiritually to see something but in the end he buried his face in shame. "Hail buhari" |
Fellow Nigerians, Life is bigger than a country and Nigeria is bigger than Nigerians. Everyday we wake up to how things have gone wrong in this country, how we have eaten from crumbs in the midst of plenty but no-one bothered to ask, How did we get into this mess? And what is the way out? The likes of JAKUMO, JOHN DOE2000 et al may be speaking from outside the shores of this country without realizing how much we Nigerians (at home) have suffered in the hands of corruption. I really don’t blame you guys who think you have escaped the glitches of the motherland and seat behind your PC and spew arrogant ethnic influenced support for someone that is as black as hell. Oga john doe2000,I can still remember vividly the argument we had over MEND, but I believed that the exposition of that day will either sway you or blind you. But I made you a promise that they will crumble like a pack of cards in less than 8months of amnesty I decided not to be generous with my time frame cos I knew doom was imminent. The last time I was in the creek the so called strong men were all clamouring over when “Govt Alawi will show” boys don loyal lol the ones I saw in brass, krakamar and yenezege were singing the same song then I said to myself; “Wish Thomas john doe2000 was here to witness for himself” The few ones that feel cheated in the program have “baptized” themselves into nonexistent clandestine groups, the desperate ones that swore allegiance to keep the heritage of mend alive now claim erstwhile terrorist attacks from God knows where. JOHN DOE2000 and JAKUMO I seriously don’t blame you guys because you guys seem not to see things from the average Nigerian point of view. Look at what we have lost so far, there was a post where I made it categorically clear that GEJ shouldn’t contest for the presidency because he thinks he has seen an opportunity. Yes!! the opportunity may come only once, it may be a landmark but in the interest of the country it is a wrong move. He could have set up a credible electoral process and sit back and watch how Ribadu,Gen Buhari and any lout PDP comes up with to slug it out. The foundation of GEJ’s administration is built on those charlatans we want to get rid of as such he can’t be any different, I don’t know why John doe2000 cannot apply common sense. John doe2000, let me tell you in summary what corruption as orchestrated by PDP has done to us. start from the formation of the party PDP, it was those same cabals and political never do well from the army and some civilian errand boys, who dream everyday of being a shareholder in that “company” Nigeria. So, can we come today and think that a stooge like Jonathan can do any better? John doe2000 did u recall when OBJ was parading the CV of Yaradua, how he was a graduate, how he was not corrupt amongst other governors blah blah blah. I made someone a promise that if OBJ installs Yaradua, his administration will never probe him. today here we are and in our presence he wants to install another GEJ and we sit and answer yes sir!!! Are we that blind? Who does OBJ think he is? The father of Nigeria? The Owner of west Africa? I felt bad when Atiku lost that primaries that night because he was close to bringing down that Mad man before his political rascality took him to Abyss, as much as Atiku’s administration will destroy OBJ and cronies I have the fear that it will install another breed of politicians that will forever manacle the nation, in other words, as much as I regretted his loss I still don’t want him there in the interest of this country. Mr John doe2000 it is clear that you and Jakumo do not know why there is no job in the country, now let me tell you, there are jobs everywhere in the country, there are people that play truancy on other peoples dream jobs because of corruption. Job postings and interviews are never by merit, that is corruption. Nigeria has been made a laughing stock in the sporting Arena, courtesy of corruption. People from dungeon wake up to wear that green white green jersey only to ridicule the nation and leave a plethora of Nigerians heartbroken simply because there is no credible process of choosing the best of the best, that is corruption. Mr John doe2000 have you not heard that members of the National Assembly send letters to Vice Chancellors to admit their wards in federal higher institutions? Imagine the kind of graduates our academic system produces with such “executive influence”, bunch of sanguinary charlatans, now, that is corruption. The Educational system decayed in our very eyes. Mr John doe2000, Gani Fahwemis’ son had an unfortunate accident and could not receive any intensive treatment in the country when billions have passed through the Ministry of health, Now, that is corruption and our health system remains a night mare that late president Yaradua disappeared to Saudi (even when Saudi elites go to Europe for treatment) Now tell me, what facility did Late president Yaradua and Late Stella Obasanjo use in Saudi and Spain respectively that the Nigerian Government couldn’t afford? But do we have them? Lest I forget stella went for “Liposuction” which cannot be graded under the canopy of a major surgery,Now that is corruption that our health sector remains in a sorry state. Mr John doe2000, Do you watch Tv lately and see people begging for as low as a million naira to fix a brain tumor in India or its like? Realistically speaking, an honest health insurance scheme from a responsible Govt wont have a problem taking care of such ailments for a person above 25yrs. Today, they die in our very eyes that is how far corruption has taken our liberty of good health. Mr Jakumo, In 2009, the federal road safety commission attributed motor accidents that led to as much as over 400 fatality to “reckless driving”. I didn’t want to believe that either because the only things I see with them are combat pants where they starch in bribe bills, without a speed Gun and a Ford Ranger ready to pursuit whoever defaults their price tag, I wonder where the statistics came from? The sorry state of the Roads I believe must have contributed more than what disgruntled road safety fabricated ,Now that is corruption, and all glory goes to Ministry of works. Lest I forget, the Almighty FRSC issue driving license in Absentia for a fee. lol Mr Jakumo and John doe2000, His excellency emeritus Peter Odili built a power turbine of less than 500MW with over 6 billion dollars, today, even the street (Trans Amadi) where the turbine is situated is still living in darkness, that is corruption of the highest order and no Administration is asking questions, this is the same corruption that romanced the NIPP contract of over 16bn dollars and Olusegun obasanjo is not yet in Jail. I put it to Jakumo that after cleaning the gutters of Europe, you will need a Native doctor escort to walk freely in the streets of lagos because the PDP you are supporting have failed to guarantee adequate security for its citizenry. Mr john doe2000, the bamboozling term “Privatization and concessioning” as championed by “Turaki of Atiku” today has metamorphosized to Indigenization of whichever sector where all the Govt investments went missing to the extent that disgruntled Lebanese were invited to manage our “presidential hotels” is the peak of corruption and today the word “Free trade zone” simply means OBJ and Atiku are in charge. Is this the legacy we really want to leave for our children? Oh!!! Jakumo, oh!!! john doe2000, don’t you go to the market to realize that 99.99% of the products therein are substandard and counterfeit. Funny enough, john doe2000 hasn’t heard of SON (Standard Organisation of Nigeria) in leons. PDP has finished us in this country, the unborn child is weeping waiting for the mother to do something. I have personally written to mike okiro the then “Stupendous General” of police about an officer that was brutalizing a bus driver who refused to be extorted, I caught his picture and Name tag and included it in my petition, till this day, the Animal still patrols my neighborhood with smiles of “to serve and protect with integrity” this is corruption. Nobody is held accountable for anything and the country continues decaying. Unfortunately, this is where PDP has left our sorry A.rse. John doe2000, what do you think this nation need? “A REVOLUTION” if you ask me. We are finished with PDP and what they can offer us, rightly put, we are living at their mercy You seriously want us to think that Gen. buhari is not fit for Aso rock on the grounds of religious Bigotry? Your level of brain gay has Gone beyond tablets. Your insinuation is likened to saying a Christian will deny born agianism lol Your arguments sound like the Grammatical jargons that Paint Jakumo a patriot where for all intents and purposes we all know his loyalty lies with the British after running away from the motherland his PDP has made so miserable, picking the crumbs from the white man’s gutters enjoys freebies from a sincere democracy, and perhaps managed to exist in a revolutionized economy as a foreign lout pleading for asylum in the land of morality, once again, I spit on your ideology and curse your grave, Buhari is a moslem as such supports the tenants of islam, does he have the intentions of imposing it on the entire nation is the bone of contention, I advise you focus on it. In my village, in eastern Nigeria, Far away from Buhari’s ethnic root and religious preponderance, speculation had it that PTF was a United nations initiative to salvage Nigeria from the hands of Abacha’s Tyranny, other Anecdotes equally thought that we were running two governments, the one on NTA and a phantom one that manifests itself in robust projects and applaudable infrastructures. John doe2000 and Jakumo, u guys want to place Ordinary GEJ on the same scale as Buhari, what a misconception!!!! Does GEJ have a political agenda? What is the foundation of his political career? let alone an Economic one? He managed to watch over Bayelsa while Alams goes robbery and somehow managed to take over the mantle of leadership when the Alams gang dropped him. Is that what Myopic john doe2000 and Blind Jakumo call a political career? He was so inept to seize the Mantle of leadership through the death of Yaradua, not until David mark and Obasanjo woke him up. Good luck Ebele Jonathan belongs to the classroom not in aso rock. Does he have the will to fight corruption? when he is the grandson of obasanjo as ordained by Anenih and endorsed by David Mark? Let me ask you john doe2000, is it what Nigeria really needs? You referred to Buhari as a coup plotter, yes he is and that is what PDP needs, PDP and its cronies will never be pampered out of office and a man that has nursed that temerity in the past is capable of sweeping them completely off our system, do you have problems with that? I do not care if you wish to exercise your franchise on a God forsaken PDP, but I tell you this day, if what you write on this forum sways one soul to have a change of heart to vote PDP in this coming election, the soul of every child that dies in our Hospital of dilapidated infrastructure shall hunt your family to eternity, for every soul lost on road accidents borne out of pot holes, their blood will reign death on you and your families. For every graduate that remains unemployed in this country may their cries visit your sources of livelihood The spirit of Nigeria bleed and wail for the right thing to be done in this country and here you are blackmailing and hoodwinking people to tow your part, the soil for which Jakumo and john doe2000 stand shall curse the destiny of your Generations for the fruit of evil shall you reap. I advise you guys, if you want to support a failed party please do it quietly and never embroil people to join your flock. We have suffered enough in the hands of PDP and what it has to offer. Definitely, the election will be rigged as usual, (buhari may loose God forbid) but even the unborn child knows that buhari is the man for the job,I will beat my chest and tell my child that at the wake of PDP madness I voted for change through Buhari, he will continue having our vote and support wherever he is for he is a man that stood out amongst Men. He is a man that will stand before his creator and receive a handshake for how well he lived his life. Unfortunately, PDP has set modalities to rig this election come April one of those modalities are Mobilizing people to register en masse, they sponsor, lobby and coerce people with media influence, with lots of advertorials and sensitization campaigns on radio and TV to make people register including petty sanctions but it won’t end there. After we have registered, INEC will apportion the majority of the votes to PDP and JONA will Emerge as the president. Gen. Buhari I hope you have a counter strategy because I strongly believe that ordinary GEJ cant beat you in a credible election. To protect our vote, you have to make sure that the INEC (of course selected by PDP) does not have monopoly of the Data base, that is the evidence that will win you in court. Lastly, Use pressure groups to Sway Inec to provide sticky duplicate for voters cards such that when I vote, I don’t need to put in your Box but write that I voted for you and that should duplicate itself, the duplicate I take home while the card remains in the box, After the database has been manipulated and given to PDP, I believe your lawyer should be smart to ask people in just one constituency to bring their duplicates the discrepancy will be pretty obvious. Unfortunantely, PDP have started rigging already why did they spend billions on the DC machine without a DATA BASE guess nobody thought of that. About sharia, can john doe2000 and jakumo show me the strategy Buhari mapped out for the implementation of Sharia in the entire federation? Even an asinine looser knows you guys are peddling silly press error to cast aspersion on his political ambition. Nevertheless, if we elect him and he runs Amok, then he will find himself in the same shoe as Gbagbo of ivory coast or any other tyrant that existed before him, right now corruption through PDP is priority one Religious bigotry can be taken care of later. Common sense tells me that if 4yrs of religious tyranny will oust corruption through PDP is the legacy I leave for my kids then so be it. We are rock solid behind you, sometimes I wonder if you are a Nigerian, you really don’t have the blood. BUHARI and BAKARE, I hail thee, goodluck!!!!! @ cold Summary execution is an abuse of human right at the same time, laws are not meant to pamper criminality, this is where the state of Texas disagrees with Washington. Let me ask you, the Nigeria of today has a plethora of corrupt politicians yet the law itself has a clause of immunity for them, literary, one can’t be wrong by saying Nigeria is in anarchy. A defiance of the law can be given a lot names including criminality the same criminality is what the constitution (the law) condones and that is where PDP is ruining us. Not to worry honey, buhari and Bakare is coming with long a whip to do “washing and setting” for the constitution and for the politicians that feel they are untouchable, brother, Nigeria has gotten to a stage where absolute necessity demands whatever can be done to eradicate corruption. |
@ All Enof being said, obviously, the cynics have been convinced beyond reasonable doubt. Buhari wishes to introduce" corruption sharia" all over the country please general, give us a breakdown of your punitive measure by the millions eg for every one million stolen from the national treasure, one arm will be lost @ 80bn olabode george don become cadaver @ 500bn OBJ don become roasted meat @ 250m cecilia ibru don become suya @ any amount in dollars will be roasted alive. please nairalanders let us join hands together to send a strong message to PDP through buhari, we need them to run away so we can have jobs for our teaming youths you can expand the above list so general will add to his plans it is over for PDP. |
@JP philips Please you would do the entire forum some good if you learn to summarise.lol I said Buhari made his cousin the sole consultant to award, pay and vet projects and that the company commited massive fraud and you are there saying i am twisting facts and telling me about common sense. i just dey laugh. stay off insults.Amongst every person in my team, i can only trust my cousin wholesomely so that i don't need to be vetting papers and as someone that knows what our family stands for i bet he will not embarrass me now tell me, what is wrong with that? "especially when no law forbids him as at the time of event" can someone please explain the above for na-so, my fingers hurt you were asking for evidence of presidential influence as a reason for the massively lopsided contract award to north west. For your information Buhari accepted the job on conditions that he would be given a free hand, and Abacha agreed not to interfere.the breakdown of the PTF project you gave is it for real? i would have loved to know the source at least we can verify its veracity, be that as it may, outside road infrastructures the north is backward in health care delivery and education. in the spirit of equity and fairness placing the north on a higher priority in terms of education and health care is not a bad idea if you ask me. On the side of Lagos i must say is totally unfair but considering the fact that his cousin was compromised we cant say for sure that he may not have influence, in any case, the culprit has paid the ultimate price, what more can you wish for? i believe General will be more careful next time though i wont say totally that the above is borne out of cavalier on his own part but a case of a trust that was betrayed. Wait a minute!! from your post Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo State, having 5.34 per cent, 4.04 per cent, 10.57 per cent, 6.53 per cent, 4.02 per cent, respectively.jehovah, the ground breaking achievment that bought my loyalty for years was mere 12% on average of the eastern states, imagine what will happen if he controls the national treasure? are you thinking what im thinking? I repeat the following which your voluminous post did not addressplease i believed my previous post have answered the above questions, you can as well call on jakumo for a breakdown. as nairaland's walking dictionary |
@ na-so May be you need to be reminded , what PTF( Petroleum Trust fund) meant. Someone who is the helsman appoints his cousin as the sole consultant, to award, pay and vet contract execution and this cousin perpetuated massive fraud to the tune that he commited suicide when his deeds where about being exposed.why are you twisting common sense? should i beg you to employ the least thing that kills mosquito for you at night. the above statement can be rightly put thus; Amongst every person in my team, i can only trust my cousin wholesomely so that i don't need to be vetting papers and as someone that knows what our family stands for i bet he will not embarrass me now tell me, what is wrong with that? Commonsensically speaking, the above demeanor sends just one message "you guys are wasting my time here, you don't know who my father is" if Iyabo were Buhari's Daughter she should be spinning with a ceiling fan by now . hope you see the difference, dont let PDP money or beaf's arrogance sway you, let me believe and trust you are an adult that believes the right thing needs to be done in this country. u said and i quote My question therefore is if Buhari did not know hence could not curb corruption in a small organisation like PTF , then how will he be able to manage corruption in the entire country? "If you have run with horsemen and it wearied thee, how canst thou contend with horsemen?"this is a very good question. but yes he is a human being and he trusts his nephew to do the right thing unfortunately the guy embarrassed him. I dont want to delve into the issue of 54 suitecases, if you really intend to polish Buhari's image i would advise you ignore that area, as your explanations seem to be doing more damage to him.
The likes of JAKUMO, BEAF et al may be speaking from outside the shores of this country without realizing how much we Nigerians (at home) have suffered in the hands of corruption. I really don’t blame you guys who think you have escaped the glitches of the motherland and seat behind your PC and spew arrogant ethnic influenced support for someone that is as black as hell. Oga beaf,I can still remember vividly the argument we had over MEND, but I believed that the exposition of that day will either sway you or blind you. But I made you a promise that they will crumble like a pack of cards in less than 8months of amnesty I decided not to be generous with my time frame cos I knew doom was imminent. The last time I was in the creek the so called strong men were all clamouring over when “Govt Alawi will show” boys don loyal lol the ones I saw in brass, krakamar and yenezege were singing the same song then I said to myself; “Wish Thomas beaf was here to witness for himself” The few ones that feel cheated in the program have “baptized” themselves into nonexistent clandestine groups, the desperate ones that swore allegiance to keep the heritage of mend alive now claim erstwhile terrorist attacks from God knows where. BEAF and JAKUMO I seriously don’t blame you guys because you guys seem not to see things from the average Nigerian point of view. The foundation of GEJ’s administration is built on those charlatans we want to get rid of as such he can’t be any different, I don’t know why Beaf cannot apply common sense. Beaf, let me tell you in summary what corruption as orchestrated by PDP has done to us. start from the formation of the party PDP, it was those same cabals and political never do well from the army and some civilian errand boys, who dream everyday of being a shareholder in that “company” Nigeria. So, can we come today and think that a stooge like Jonathan can do any better? Beaf did u recall when OBJ was parading the CV of Yaradua, how he was a graduate, how he was not corrupt amongst other governors blah blah blah. Mr Beaf it is clear that you and Jakumo do not know why there is no job in the country, now let me tell you, there are jobs everywhere in the country, there are people that play truancy on other peoples dream jobs because of corruption. Mr Beaf have you not heard that members of the National Assembly send letters to Vice Chancellors to admit their wards in federal higher institutions? Imagine the kind of graduates our academic system produces with such “executive influence”, bunch of sanguinary charlatans, now, that is corruption. The Educational system decayed in our very eyes. Mr Beaf, Gani Fahwemis’ son had an unfortunate accident and could not receive any intensive treatment in the country when billions have passed through the Ministry of health, Now, that is corruption and our health system remains a night mare that late president Yaradua disappeared to Saudi (even when Saudi elites go to Europe for treatment) Now tell me, what facility did Late president Yaradua and Late Stella Obasanjo use in Saudi and Spain respectively that the Nigerian Government couldn’t afford? But do we have them? Lest I forget stella went for “Liposuction” which cannot be graded under the canopy of a major surgery,Now that is corruption that our health sector remains in a sorry state. Mr Beaf, Do you watch Tv lately and see people begging for as low as a million naira to fix a brain tumor in India or its like? Lest I forget, the Almighty FRSC issue driving license in Absentia for a fee. lol Mr Jakumo and Beaf, His excellency emeritus Peter Odili built a power turbine of less than 500MW with over 6 billion dollars, today, even the street (Trans Amadi) where the turbine is situated is still living in darkness, that is corruption of the highest order and no Administration is asking questions, this is the same corruption that romanced the NIPP contract of over 16bn dollars and Olusegun obasanjo is not yet in Jail. I put it to Jakumo that after cleaning the gutters of Europe, you will need a Native doctor escort to walk freely in the streets of lagos because the PDP you are supporting have failed to guarantee adequate security for its citizenry. Mr beaf, the bamboozling term “Privatization and concessioning” as championed by “Turaki of Atiku” today has metamorphosized to Indigenization of whichever sector where all the Govt investments went missing to the extent that disgruntled Lebanese were invited to manage our “presidential hotels” is the peak of corruption and today the word “Free trade zone” simply means OBJ and Atiku are in charge. Is this the legacy we really want to leave for our children? Oh!!! Jakumo, oh!!! beaf, don’t you go to the market to realize that 99.99% of the products therein are substandard and counterfeit. Funny enough, beaf hasn’t heard of SON (Standard Organisation of Nigeria) in leons. Beaf, what do you think this nation need? Beaf and Jakumo, u guys want to place Ordinary GEJ on the same scale as Buhari, what a misconception!!!! Does GEJ have a political agenda? What is the foundation of his political career? let alone an Economic one? He managed to watch over Bayelsa while Alams goes robbery and somehow managed to take over the mantle of leadership when the Alams gang dropped him. Is that what Myopic beaf and Blind Jakumo call a political career? He was so inept to seize the Mantle of leadership through the death of Yaradua, not until David mark and Obasanjo woke him up. Good luck Ebele Jonathan belongs to the classroom not in aso rock. Does he have the will to fight corruption? when he is the grandson of obasanjo as ordained by Anenih and endorsed by David Mark? Let me ask you beaf, is it what Nigeria really needs? For every graduate that remains unemployed in this country may their cries visit your sources of livelihood The spirit of Nigeria bleed and wail for the right thing to be done in this country and here you are blackmailing and hoodwinking people to tow your part, the soil for which Jakumo and beaf stand shall curse the destiny of your Generations for the fruit of evil shall you reap. About sharia, can beaf and jakumo show me the strategy Buhari mapped out for the implementation of Sharia in the entire federation? Even an asinine looser knows you guys are peddling stupid press error to cast aspersion on his political ambition. Nevertheless, if we elect him and he runs Amok, then he will find himself in the same shoe as Gbagbo of ivory coast or any other tyrant that existed before him, right now corruption through PDP is priority one Religious bigotry can be taken care of later. Common sense tells me that if 4yrs of religious tyranny will oust corruption through PDP is the legacy I leave for my kids then so be it We are rock solid behind you, sometimes I wonder if you are a Nigerian, you really don’t have the blood. BUHARI, I hail thee, goodluck!!!!! Not to worry honey, buhari is coming with long a whip to do “washing and setting” for the constitution and for the politicians that feel they are untouchable, brother, Nigeria has gotten to a stage where absolute necessity demands whatever can be done to eradicate corruption. |
i'm going to have to disagree with the majority of opinions on here.the same reason mutallab's father went to the FBI when it was already late @2sleek,i saved up for it. I get a school allowance and i save from that. I copy notes for people in school for a price. I have a big extended family-someone's always giving me money,or crediting me,or paying my internet subscription or worreva. Like i said, airtime is not my problem. As for me and my mom, even though we butt heads a lot,its not like we're not close or anything-I'm just closer to my dad. We have more in common. and this automatically equates being independent and self reliant lol kids @OP privacy, trust lol in your parents house? you seriously think that your dad at his age will trust a toddler like you and you seriously think you can be private in another man's domain lol these kids re getting ambitious by the day you were lucky not grounded for a year |
You're right that the Asian vehicles are not or may not be cheaper presently in the so-called showrooms/market---but it's so because only a few sellers or so called 'Importer' have a quasi monopoly. Expanding our options and opening the market place to everyone is ok in the short term in order to break the stranglehold of very few importers and corruption at the ports. That kind of monopoly will definitely be defeated if more individual importers come into the market place ---Afterall that was some of the reason(s) Cotonou and Lome flourished and became profitable attractive option(s) for Nigerians. High prices never remain so forever especially in the used and cheaper car market. I hope that we are not presuming that our people are not adventurous enough to venture beyond Europe, besides there aren't enough clapped out vehicles for Nigeria these days from Europe Cheesy Shocked. Despite our innate prejudice, the Asian vehicles will be preferable, cheaper and ubiquitous on Nigerian roads just like the Okada. We don't have a choice. The government does not want to do the right thing in the medium-long term to encourage our so-called vehicle manufacturers. The Nigerian economic environment is not production industry friendly. It's too expensive to manufacturer anything in the Nigerian scene as it is today besides 'pure' water. Only insincere business persons or 'cowboys' and fraudsters will find the Nigerian Manufacturing sector as it is today attractive despite our 'large' market. You just highlighted a few issues of concern, the summary of your post is that we need competition to crash the branded exploitation right? in your own economic assessment, how do u think is best to achieve that BAN? |
Is it the 99 that is 1.1m or the 2000? |
How much will it cost to land a 1999,2000 camry (LE) in porthacourt including all charges and logistics? |

Is he indirectly saying that as a seasoned entrepreneur in the Nigerian Market and with the plethora of advisers on his pay roll he thinks banning is what is best for the country? trust me OBJ's BRAIN WENT ON RETIREMENT EARLIER THAN WE THOUGHT |
Confuse? Nah! true, we are all lagging in Africa economically but, Nigeria being "a giant of Africa" economically is not far from the truth at all.Where did ''boomerang'' or whatever get their figures from? Nigeria? government that cant even give account of its work force Abi NNPC/petroleum ministry/finance ministry confused over oil export. Now if Nigeria cant give a proper account, where did ''Boomerang'' get its figures from? |

The last pic is a 98/99 honda accord whose radio has been tampered with, the pic ill behooves the Camry you are advertising |
@ AISH Why are we so inept and lacking in creativity?, How does importation of 15 yr old vehicles, cassava, tooth-picks and printed clothes/materials etc aid or help our economy in the medium-long term? Are Nigerians so beaten down so much that we rejoice that our feckless government wants us to freely import rubbish? It's disheartening indeed! It'll be cheaper to import brand new vehicles from China, India and Malaysia instead of allowing written off vehicles from Europe flooding our ports and roads by unscrupulous importers. I am ashamed and embarrassed by our so-called planners indeed.before you start getting embarrassed, you need to do a little market research, how did u come up with the emboldened part? are you sure of what you are saying or just exercising your freedom of speech? please go to the car stand and price those chinese, korea and indian cars. they are very expensive also it is not about the cost of importation(which is cheap) but their dealers aint making the pricing any easier you seriously think that those Tata, geely, ssasongsang and mahindra brands are doing you a favour? u re wrong my dear, though substandard they are still expensive, all i think ur Govt is doing is broadening our options. for you to be able to legally afford a 1999 camry over a substandard hundai accent (for those that cant afford 1.6m) |
From my background experience in customs service, countries that place outright bans of finished goods into their country are regarded as either lazy or not serious. You only regulate importation through tariffs and duties and not banning. Nigeria has a large population with few viable local manufacturers that is not meeting up to 25% of local demand in most sectors of our economy. We have given local firms eight years head start since 2002 by banning those items and they have not taken advantage of the increased demand, rather prices have gone up and we resorted to enriching the economies of neighboring thru smuggling SO WHY CONTINUE WITH IT?You are absolutely correct, ive read it sometime No, they do not. Driving a car is a privilege, not a right. Will these same market women and teachers contribute money to ameliorate the negative environmental impact of their crap cars? Or contribute money for the excess wear and tear on the roads? Roads and the environment are not free. Everything has a price. Why should someone else be paying the price for them to enjoy?Re you on drugs? and as your father cannot afford a private jet he shouldn't fly? guess you left your brain with your mathematics teacher. Market women don't pay tax even if they do they don't pay enof? did you really say this? how old are you? Such arrogance on this forum! See people complaining about the expected influx of 1995 era Camry and Honda vehicles.Majority of nairalanders live at lekki, so don't blame them @jp phillips: With that approach, then we'll never produce anything in this country. Should we just give up and say that the only thing of value we will produce is oil?Really, i appreciate your sense of patriotism but some issues are just empirical. production is no magic as such it has factors that support it, so long as the factors are not there it will never happen. If i am not mistaken, the NIPP contract was awarded in 2006, four years on the 6000mw still remains a mirage. let us quit embracing obj's dementia. the policy is as ugly as who made it. five years on the only results it produced were breed of corrupt custom officers, career smugglers, economic hardship etc. about employment, well an importer never works alone, they have boys, clearing agents, haulage personnel, travel agents, interpreters and so on, maybe we stick to those kinda jobs till the govt wakes up to its responsibilities, for now GEJ did what is necessary. How much will it cost OBJ to dredge the Niger river? obj never thought of that, the only thing the fat a.rsehole could think of is banning but he never knew that such water ways can contribute immensely to PRODUCTION LOGISTICS for the indigenous coys at least for people along the coast, benue ,kogi and what have you. From that moment the policy has already failed, oblivious of that he still went ahead to ban, OBJ m.essed up big time with that policy eschew all forms of parochial reasoning you will surely understand talking abt indigenous manufacturing industries, how much are they paying? how many people have they employed? truth be told, I see more traders in Main market onitsha and Alaba than all the NNPC refineries put together that is what i call jobs, i don't care if it is white collar or blue collar. About tooth pick, if you think of doing it manually, you will definitely need more people considering your profit margin, it is unlikely you can pay them, if you resort to the mechanical style (equipments), capital increases and Nepa will definitely ensure you don't open shop in weeks, either way you look at it, it is a loose loose situation while you are still strategizing, the population is swelling from 150m to 165m interpreting to high demand, what do you expect a responsible Govt to do? Ban? like i said earlier, IT IS NOT A SOLUTION BUT IT IS NECESSARY. |
I'd tell you. . .have you heard of Innoson motors? oh well, in a case you haven't, its a rapidly expanding car manufacturing company. Could you tell me how many Nigerians will buy a product of Innosons if a Honda product is available for a lesser amount? see? no one!. .@ violent you sound like those guys that think Naija is a direct interpretation of their economics text books, stop talking without facts. the innoson motors you are referring to, how many people can afford it ? those who can will still buy it if his price is ok.afterall his fellow competitors like geely, mahindra scraps are still selling. Even innoson's cars are still not affordable go and price them.the Germans when they were poor made beetle to suite their life style and budget and everybody patronised it. when the russians were in trouble, they made OKA to suite their needs, in Naija which local manufacturer suits your need? even when we were lucky to have peugeot assembly plant, a 504 of 79 model was still selling for 2.4m the last time i checked,so how are they helping the man on the street? let the govt fold their arms and watch market forces to regulate things including quality. what the so called indigenous manufacturers do is that they fix prices worse than their foreign counterparts because the COST OF PRODUCTION IS HIGH. haven't you gone to the market to see an Aba made slippers more expensive than a chinese made, now tell me who in his right senses will subscribe to that? Ask urself why the govt have not forced MTN to crash rates? the same problems continue to reverberate, unless we fix them, both the banning and repealing will not help us. quit deceiving urself until Naija has a functional price regulatory agency and infrastructures to reduce production cost, importation remains our best bet. let me tell u what happened in Enugu 2005, after the rice ban, the indigenous rice manufacturers called ugboka known for poor processing (half stone half rice) was selling for 3x the price of the foreign ones. so how did the govt succeed on that? when you stop imports local manufacturers enjoy monopoly and hike their price, you open imports, they cry wolf that they are out of business, either way, it is a loose loose situation till those issues are addressed, in the mean time, "china here we come" |
I also agree with violent. Imports are bad for Nigeria. If you are afraid of smugglers, then TIGHTEN up border security. Just don't give up on the problem. Those here who are advocating imports are also advocating slavery and bondage for Nigeria Sadyou guys are very funny, look at people wey never get waste disposal outfit dey talk abt pollution, lol Understand something, it was a move to at least get the votes for elections which will be over next year while he embarks on robust infrastructural development i guess. for now that is what we need and that is wot he has done. if u go with obj, then how many 1.5m cars have u bought for peeps that cant afford it. why did people resort to smuggling? because things were difficult for them including the custom officers that mount the border, anyway i don't know if u feed yourself but i can still rem. vividly when a bag of rice sold for 15k in some parts of the country at the wake of obj's embargo every country is unique with their problems, the lack of infrastructures have made it pertinent for our economy to depend on imports until it changes there is absolutely nothing anyone can do about that, so live with it. Gej has done that which is absolutely necessary. |
To me, this is a move in the right direction. With the so-called prohibition those things were coming and the custom people were making lots of money for their personal pockets (not for Government) and when you are not able to pay the millions they charged you, your goods will be confiscated.brother i go with you but i must tell you that most Nairalanders just left college while some are adults that fail to trim the rough edges of their enlightenment so when i read opinions i understand why they say majority of Nigerians are illiterates. The truth of the matter is that GEJ wants ibo votes and he is aware that the senseless policy has manacled the ibo economy so he is most likely trying to appease them. It is a brilliant step in the right direction politics not withstanding. obasanjo is a man without conscience and nothing about his policies were geared towards improving the lives of the masses, they were just a bunch of selfish interest but people don't understand that. When he came up with his banning madness do you remember what he said? he wants to protect local production but you and i know that banning was very far from the solution bearing in mind that he has invested so much on personal manufacturing companies thereby over looking the simple roles the govt could have employed to protect them in other words it was geared towards protecting his own little investments unlike wot people think. why wont a reasonable administration repeal an unproductive law? what have we achieved since those banning? As old as OBJ is, he doesnt know what to do to protect local industries even toddlers have answers for him. how does withdrawing IBETO's operating licence protect local industries when he was doing exactly the same thing as Dangote? same for the concession he gave to his cronies otedola and co so how does killing competition protect local industries and favor Nigerians in the long run? obviously, OBJ's brain went on retirement earlier than we thought at the demise of Ajaokuta steel, Dana steel takes the lead, so are NITEL,Nigerian Airways just name it giving it up for TRANSCORP. same gimmicks of privatization and concession we lost all the free trade ports to Atikus' INTELS. which local industries exactly are we protecting? was OBJ not aware that an office that opens by 7:00am runs on Generator till 6:00pm, does he not know how much it eats into their profit? Is he not aware that bank executives give loans meant for SME's to their cronies? is he not aware that insecurity has driven away almost all the companies in the country? Is he not aware that the land use act is a clog in the developmental wheel? OBJ is as senseless as his face. can he explain how importation affects local manufacture? and to what extent? the problem our local industries have is COST OF PRODUCTION, in Naija it is very high of course because the govt is sleeping.if we reform our land use act so u can easily acquire one esp for setting up industries, provide them with constant power, low interest on SME loans,a robust transport netwk for logistics (rail, road and water) etc then they are good to go i bet nobody will be interested in the imported chinese junks. correct me if i am wrong the preponderance of nigeria's imports are substandard made in China goods, why bother banning them when we can fix the above issues set a quality standard for them through SON (standard organisation of Naija) then market forces will ban them. have we forgotten that made in naija Newclime and thermocool are better than the rest chinco products in the market, sure we don't need OBJ to tell us that, market forces will simply ban them only if we do the right thing. I don't want to go into cars because that is where i believe OBJ deserves to face a firing squad. on setting the 10yr benchmark, he opened the gates for his cronies Briscoe, Elizade and Globe motors to be bringing in SA junks as toyota dealers while Dana motors and stallion concentrated on their korea junks while the fat bastard turns a blind eye as they slaughter the country with prices and substandard products. can someone tell me exactly the coys we want to protect? Obj in his infinite wisdom never thought that toyota SA could have opened a plant in Naija, if only he set his priorities straight not only will it create jobs but will boost export, today SA manufactures and his cronies flood it into the country. tell me how the policy changed the lives of Nigerians, perhaps a lot of us have not visited the auto section lately, no good vehicle is less than 1million naira lately a country with per-capital income of less than hundred dollars per person. we have a lot of mad people in power As much as i don't want GEJ to contest for the presidency, i would have loved him to play a supervisory role during the elections but so far he seems more reasonable than the other simpletons. ride on Jonathan, well done. |
