Lol.... Your hatred for GEJ won't let you use your brain, that's if you have one. So 12trn was borrowed under GEJ alone? That means OBJ didn't borrow anything right? or he was able to pay all debt before Yar'adua / GEJ came on board?
Nigeria's debt was paid off by OBJ, guess you were not born during the Paris club debt relief.

You need to open your mind more bro , it was never about low oil prices but the poor shallow decision decisions of the Buhari administration..Like I always say send Buhari to Sweden and he will destroy their prosperous economy in 6 months ..
Do you think it is a coincidence that the 3rd largest crude oil exporter in the world just exited recession after 2yrs?
Do you think it is a coincidence that the largest producer of crude oil in Africa just exited recession?
Do you sincerely think it is equally a coincidence that the second largest producer of crude oil in Africa is in recession?
Do you think it is a coincidence that 6 out of 8 oil producing states in the US are in recession?
Buhari is the president and governors of all these places I guess?
Like someone told you, the borrowing was necessitated by low crude prices (earnings) while our recurrent expenditure remained the same, it was impossible sacking the workers to cut down rec. expenditure, it was difficult taxing Nigerians already at the edge without risking implosion, so what other option do you think the Government has? borrow.

This is what we need to do, any 2019 presidential contestant, ask him what he will do under the circumstance, if he suggests borrowing, then APC stays, if he has a better idea, then he takes the votes, how about that?
Politics › Re: FG, States Borrow N7.51tn Under Buhari by jpphilips(m): 5:41pm On Sep 11, 2017
The right question to ask under the circumstance is; why did the Jonathan's administration borrow up to 12T naira in plenty?
Local borrowing control inflation as experienced lately, nevertheless, our debt profile is a disaster!!

But you did not know that Kanu's speeches are angry reactions to the hatred targeted at the east of Nigeria, mostly at the Igbo, by your masters of far-north Nigeria who used their military dictators to restructure Nigeria politically, and supervised a constitution imposed upon Nigeria - all shortchanging the Igbo politically and economically in one Nigeria? Wake up parasite. You and your grade can't continue any more to suck the blood of your hosts in the contraption called Nigeria.
Enough of this South east stup!dity, why do you associate SE with Kanu? did the SE send him any invite before he landed with his Biafra madness? Biafra is an IPOB agenda not a south east agenda, stop rubbing your stup!dity on everyone.

This tactics wouldn't work a bit. We in IPoB will remain peaceful until after Anambra elections. The military wants to provoke us. First they were alarmed by the drone video IPoB displayed today, and as usual they wanted to confirm if it is actually working.

Second they want to see the readiness of BSS and access how they will react if NK is arrested.

Thirdly, they want to justify their military presence in the SE by provoking IPOB into a skirmish.

All in all, we are always 100 steps ahead of Nigeria Military. We won't be provoked for now until we win this media war. Right now we want to expose Nigeria for the world to see how cruel they are and once we achieve this Nigeria will loose credence and once it happens we will strike!!!

What about Igbos indigenous to your so called South-South states? What happens to Asaba people, Ibusa people, Okpanam, Oshimili and all the Igbo elements of Delta state?

What about the Igbos of Rivers? Obigbo, Asa, Ndoki, Etche and the rest? What will you say to Minister of Transport and former Governor of Rivers, Chibuike Amaechi, an Ikwerre man who recently said "nobody should deny me my Igbo heritage"

What about the Benue Igbos?
Can you mention anyone in modern history who got a country based on ethnic configuration? quit comparing a country with a town union.

People like Nnamdi Kanu and Asari Dokubo are proposing that Biafra becomes a confederation which I believe it should be. Igbos get their Region, Ijaw/Ogoni gets its own Region, Efik/Ibibio get their own Region. Every Region controls 100% of its resources and pays an agreed percentage to the center, nobody will be able to marginalise anybody. It wont even matter who the ruling class are.
This is the reason we insist that kanu is a lunatic, not because he is running naked on the streets of Umuahia but because he is completely detached from reality, in the real world, there is nothing like "resource control", so their proposal is dead on arrival, designed to deceive individuals who have no grasp how resources are converted to money, like you said, resources will not be paid to the government at the center but its proceeds thereof. meaning that along the food chain, someone will make the investment that will convert resources to money, you are sure not gonna go near those owned by the fG else you have a Sudan on your hands, so who makes the investments in that obnoxious arrangement of yours? while at it, ensure you state the capability of such person or group. Will the Niger delta people make the investments or the biafran nation?

Another disastrous part of that proposal is that once the units are confederated, igbos will definitely dominate at the federal level as a result of their population, huge population will have socio economic and political consequences, let us use a popular confederation for example, have you bothered to ask why the state of California (unit of confederated united states) gets 5 times federal allocation more than Wyoming a fellow confederating entity? have you bothered to find out why the state of California produces 53 house of reps members while Wyoming produce just 1? America practise indirect democracy where electoral college elect the presidency, are you aware that California has 55 electoral college votes while Wyoming has just 3? what it means is that minorities are hugely marginalized in a confederated democracy,

Kanu knows that most of you don't know this so he is throwing the bait to niger delta, if there is any truth in your proposal, a confederated biafran police, army, immigration, senate, house of reps, civil service will be igbo dominated, how is it different from what Niger delta is suffering in Nigeria?
If this proposal of kanu and Asari is put to use in biafra, in 10yrs time, most of the federal taxes paid by Niger deltans will be used to develop Igbo land, isn't that the same marginalization?

Kanu as an Igbo man is proposing that because he knows that most of you don't know how confederation works, confederates benefit from the federation on a scale of population only?? once you are not the majority in a confederation, you are finished, that is the part Kanu is not telling the Niger delta. Any niger deltan supporting biafra is a f00l!!

Gowon created Rivers state to cause hate between brothers as well as steal the Oil wealth of the people. In the old Eastern Region, the provinces were getting 50% of whatever came out of their land. In Rivers state, they are getting 13%. So who lost at the end of the day?
This is not a statement of fact but a baseless misinterpretation of historical facts, Aguiyi Ironsi enacted decree 34 that dissolved the regions, he was still working on the state creation before he was assassinated, Gowon merely continued from where Aguiyi stopped, if Aguiyi was alive, he would have done exactly what Gowon did.

The sharing formula you gave above of the region is a baseless hogwash, I told you abinitio that nobody has ever controlled resources anywhere in the world, what you control is investments, the Eastern region made no investments in any of the flourishing sectors hence they did not receive a kobo, from the ogbete drift mine in Enugu, to the railway corporation, to the shipping line, to the ports authority were all british investments, after independence, Nigeria was splitting proceeds with Britain pending when the investment cost was paid off, that happened in 1975. Niger delta saw their first kobo during the Obj administration with the offshore-onshore dichotomy and 13% derivative. Also OBJ gave them 3% of all nigerian revenue, oil and non oil spent through an agency called NDDC.
You guys are making your bogos claims unattractive with cheap lies.

They always hold tenaciously to their disgruntled belief so well they end up undermining obvious booby traps, after series of confrontations, their population is drastically reduced, it take a generational cycle to have them around. its a good thing in several ways, Nigeria is too populated so if we are gonna start shedding from the !diots, that's a good thing in my books!!I cant wait to see IPOB get confrontational, that's the only way reducing their population will be justified, Anambra election is a litmus test.

The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari was not aware that rail line was going to pass through his hometown in Daura, Katsina State.

He added that the President has directed that Kebbi, Zamfara and Sokoto be linked by rail.

He said: “The President summoned myself and the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, that we should go ahead with infrastructural development and he specifically told me that I must connect the 36 states capital by rail.
http://www.lawsonjamesblog.com.ng/2017/09/buhari-was-not-aware-rail-line-would.html
It is a huge assignment. Huge in the sense that it is very expensive to connect. By the directive of the President, We are currently designing a railway that would connect Gusau, Sokoto and Kebbi.

Transporting people from Benin Republic to Apapa seaport is not easy and to connect them from Benin Republic to Madakali; a border town in Kebbi, you need to pass through Daura and Jibia local government area.

Politics › Re: Breaking: Niger Delta Agitators Withdraw Quit Notice To Northerners, Yourubas by jpphilips(m): 9:10pm On Sep 07, 2017
gateleo:
ABUJA – Niger Delta agitators on Thursday formally withdrew the quit notice recently handed down to northerners and Yourubas from the south west resident in the coastal region. Rising from a meeting Wednesday night, the agitators also declared their support to the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) whose leadership they had earlier disowned to lead the region in the ongoing negotiations with the federal government. The agitators also announced the suspension of the planned attacks on the oil installations in the region whiling putting aside their intention to declare the republic of Niger Delta on October 1. According a statement raised at the end of the meeting, a coalition of the agitators led by General John Duku said that the withdrawal of the quit notice amongst other threats was sequel to the intervention of PANDEF and Nigeria Ethnic Nationality Youth Leaders Forum (NENYLF) led by its Acting National Chairman, Comrade Imoh Okoko. The agitators in the statement made available to Vanguard however demanded the removal of the current Group Managing Director, GMD of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Mr. Maikanti Baru from office. Those who signed the statement included General John Duku (Niger Delta Watchdogs and Convener, Coalition of Niger Delta Agitators); General Ekpo Ekpo (Niger Delta Volunteers); General Osarolor Nedam (Niger Delta Warriors); Major-Gen. Henry Okon Etete (Niger Delta Peoples Fighters); Major-Gen. Asukwo Henshaw (Bakassi Freedom Fighters) and Major-Gen. Ibinabo Horsfall (Niger Delta Movement for Justice). Others were Major-Gen. Duke Emmanson (Niger Delta Fighters Network); Major-Gen. Inibeghe Adams (Niger Delta Freedom Mandate); Major-Gen. Abiye Tariah (Niger Delta Development Network); Major-Gen. Joshua Ebere (Renewed Movement for Emancipation of Niger Delta); Major-Gen. Jeremiah Athony (Movement for Actualization of Niger Delta Republic); Major Francis Okoroafor (Niger Delta Freedom Redemption Army); Colonel Nelson Okochi Walter and many more Representatives of major groups across the Niger Delta region. The statement read in full: “After series of meetings yesterday between the high command of the Coalition of Niger Delta Agitators led by General John Duku and the leadership of the Nigeria Ethnic Nationality Youth Leaders Forum (NENYLF) led by the Acting National Chairman, Comrade Imoh Okoko coupled with the intervention of Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), Coalition of Niger Delta Agitators, which comprises of over 250 groups with their leaders and representatives present at yesterday’s meeting officially withdraw our quit notice issued to the Northerners and Yorubas living in Niger Delta region, call off planned resumption of attacks on Oil & Gas installations across the Niger Delta region and beyond from September 10, 2017; suspend October 1, 2017 declaration of the Niger Delta Republic, declare support to Pan Niger Delta Forum, demand restructuring and removal of Group Managing Director of NNPC. “We have also resolved to work with PANDEF and give them our maximum support and we urge the federal government to continue dialogue and implement the 16-point demand presented by PANDEF on behalf of the Niger Delta region. This comes after an extensive consultation across the Niger Delta region, which we discover that it is only PANDEF has been working all round the clock to resolve the Niger Delta issues and have the people of proven integrity; it is a clear fact that working with any rival group such as Pan Niger Delta Congress (PNDC) is not for the interest of the Niger Delta. “The meeting also resolved that the oil/gas companies should relocate their headquarters to Niger Delta region. We also resolved to put on hold the issue of the return of oil blocs own by Northerners and Yorubas to Niger Delta people and demand that the NNPC should revisit their recent appointments, urge the federal government to replace the GMD of NNPC with the indigene of Niger Delta for the interest of peace, equity, fairness and justice. “We also thank the Nigeria Ethnic Nationality Youth Leaders Forum, Pan Niger Delta Forum for the major role they played through series of meetings which result to our withdrawal of the quit notice and we therefore agree that from now on the Nigeria Ethnic Nationality Youth Leaders Forum should be our Representatives, mediators and contact point. “We mandate them to liaise with the Oil, Gas, Marine and Servicing companies operating in Niger Delta region, Government and Agencies, NNPC, NDDC, Amnesty Office to address the issues affecting members of the Coalition in particular and Niger Delta youths in general, most importantly Employment/Empowerment of the Niger Delta youths. “We also use this medium to declare total support to the current board of Niger Delta Development Commission, as we warn all groups calling for the removal of the MD, His Excellency, Mr. Nsima Ekere to desist from it as such plan is evil and detrimental to the development of Niger Delta region; we therefore appeal to the Federal government to release funds owed NDDC for development, sustenance of peace in the Niger Delta region; NDDC has a major role to play in sustaining peace in the Niger Delta region. “Finally, we call on all our partners, groups within and outside the Niger Delta region as well as all the agitating groups in the Niger Delta region to support PANDEF and give them all the needed support to enable them continue to dialogue with the federal government in order to move Niger Delta forward. Meanwhile, we wish to appeal to the Pan Niger Delta Congress to work with Pan Niger Delta Forum for the interest of the Niger Delta region; and we want to assure all the indigenes of Niger Delta and the general public that while we await the outcome of the dialogue between PANDEF and the Nigerian government, we shall not fail to respond to any issue that may threaten the collective well-being of the Niger Delta people.”
