Don't put the blame on the police alone, BH would have gone violence with or without the police action. The desire to go violent has been a cardinal principle of any Jihadists.
Dont mind him, they recruited thousands of fighters, stockpiled arms, affiliated to global terror groups for coordination & intelligence for picnic, some Nigerians need to learn how to think. the IQ level in this country is tooo low walahi!!

He is right in a way.

In respect to boko haram, the police made them go militant.

These people have been peaceful until the police started killing their members.

Aljazera showed a documentary on how bokoharam went militant.

Our police are very unprofessional
The guns, men, resources, camps just appeared because they killed Yusuf? what kind of dumb logic is that? anyways, I dont blame you guys, I blame the Nigerian armed forces for lacking the capacity to counter most of these threats, has Israel not used maximum force on her foes?

Political reason will never allow state police in Nigeria.
Historical reasons not political, have you forgotten it was state police that caused the pogrom that degenerated to the civil war?
Have you forgotten the biggest riots of the western region after the October 1955 elections was a battle for supremacy between Federal police backed Akintola & state police backed Awolowo?

Nigeria is too ethnically charged to entertain state police, centralization of armed forces as proposed in Aburi has worked for 50yrs, what we should be talking about is increasing their capacity, the biggest problems we had with state police in the 50s is that because the premier (present day Governor) paid them, they recruit from their region (state) alone, so you have all the state police in the whole SW being Yorubas, if an Igbo person has problem with a Yoruba, State police naturally takes side with the Yoruba.

State police will simply create more problems than solving anything.

More useless than the police force is the Nigerian custom service. In fact they are no longer useless but now harmful. Nigeria is a major destination hub for smuggled weapons from Eastern Europe and all other parts of the world and a large percentage of these weapons pass through the ports and manned borders. Some of the shipments are even supervised by some officers of the custom service. Once you know a connect, you can arm and Armour an army within Nigeria.
Guess everyone is paying the price of corruption

A temporary solution to Nigeria’s problems is intense 24/7 surveillance, search and destroy operations of the total area of land north from the line drawn east and west fromthe confluence point of the Niger and Benue rivers. That's approximately 715000km². The government should better start investing in ISR platforms and recon drones.

JUST IN: Jubilation In Sambisa Forest, As Troops Raids and Eliminates 81 Boko Haram terrorists

Nigerian Troops have eliminated 81 Boko Haram fighters in Sambisa axis and lost one soldier from landmine attack. Military sources said the fleeing terrorists have continued to wreak havoc and razing villages along their escape routes.

The troops of Sector 1 comprising troops of 21 and 26 brigades supported by Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF) cleared many villages of terrorists in the axis including Garin Bello, Kwoche, Lawanti, Alfa Bula Hassan and Alfa Cross among others. Intelligence sources said the troops encountered stiff resistance from the terrorists who laid improvised explosive devices along the troops’ axis of advance.

“The relentless troops destroyed the terrorists’ camps and recovered gun trucks and weapons as NAF aircraft continue to provide close air and interdiction support to the ground forces “Regrettably a soldier paid the supreme sacrifice with 4 other soldiers wounded in an improvised explosive devices incident”, the intelligence officer added.

In a message to the troops on behalf of the Chief of Army Staff, Major General Ibrahim Attahiru, the Theatre Commander Operation Lafiya Dole, Major General Farouk Yahaya, praised the gallantry of the troops and urged them to sustain it. He also paid tribute to the fallen hero and urged the troops to honour his memory by dealing with the terrorists ruthlessly without mercy.

Meanwhile, it was gathered that a large number of the fleeing Boko Haram terrorists invaded Zira and Gur villages in Biu South Local Government Area of Borno State. The terrorists were said to have stormed the communities at about 4:30 pm on Sunday, on motorcycles and gun trucks and set ablaze many houses, while residents scampered for safety.

Fighter aircraft of the NAF later engaged the fleeing terrorists with firepower from the air, neutralizing many of them in the offensive.
Where are the 81 bodies?

I think you need to discuss your "one africa" with someone else, I have already stated with arguments that what we are doing is not "one africa". Rather what we are doing is "fulani colonisation of nigeria". I am not interested in talking about "one africa". I am too busy trying to inform people about what is happening so that my people don't get annihilated by a genocide.

I guess we both have our priorities, now don't you ever talk to me about "one africa" again !
If buhari was an Ijaw man, I'm certain you wont say this nonsense!! who will blame you? you dont read, you cant study, you dont research, you dont even make yourself available to credible information sources of interest, You sit in your 2X2 shop in Ogbomosho like an oracle, typing away your sorrows, truth is; I am more scared of folks like you with chronic low IQ than the Fulani militia at least I know who they are & what they are capable of based on credible intelligence, as for you, not even the gods know how far you will go in stup!dity.
THIS IS THE TYPE OF NONSENSE YOU WILL READ FROM AN AVERAGE IPOB MEMBER!

by the way Bleep ipob and oduduwa fanatics who lie so much that even genuin news is now looked at with suspicion.

My friends, a fulani operated genocide is upon you. Nigeria is now a land for the fulani to conquer, non-nigerian fulani have more rights (including right to carry ak47) than actual indigenous nigerians in nigeria.
When fulani kill or rape in the south, if they are arrested, they would be freed and COMPENSATED !

Fulani herdsmen are the world's second most deadly group after boko haram (deadlier than isis)
If you guys don't defend yourselves then you will be wiped out, that is the only logical conlusion to this.

That deal is not a purchase deal, so the $120m is not the true price tag of the MRAPS, Nigeria can not get those at that price.

herdsmen should also help themselves by not carrying weapons about. How will people differentiate them from terrorists? And also the years of the conflicts they've had with farmers is coming back to haunt them. They will need to go extra miles to gain the trust of others. They should also be ready to make sacrifices. Only then will they be seen as victims of a common enemy. You cannot claim to be a victim and yet some among you are still destroying farmlands and quarreling with farmers because you have to feed your cattle.
Who told you herdsmen carry weapons? what do they need it for? the herdsman that sold meat to you this morning had weapons really?

Go back to that post, read it, digest it to understand who has weapon, I don't know how to communicate with people with comprehension problems.

If you have problems identifying actors in a conflict, what is the honorable thing to do?
Keep quiet!! till you get your facts, the challenge I have is that a crack head comes online to spew baseless nonsense he has no clue about, aided by a confused media, Aljazeera got to Lekki toll gate before Channels that own an office in Lagos, that's how useless your media is.
Aljazeera gave an update by 4am this morning with a live correspondent at Lekki toll gate.

Everything you've said is valid but let us also look at the plight of those who were forcefully conscripted to fight for the terrorists? Those whose family members were abducted and who had to join to at least protect their loved ones?
The kidnapped kids who were brought up and trained in the terrorists camps?
And if there's ever going to be an end to this war, there has to be a safe corridor for people who are willing to surrender and change their ways under reasonable conditions.
At the same time the soldiers shouldn't also be made to feel they were used and dumped. Their welfare should be of great importance to the country and they should be carried along as much as possible. In war, everyone is a victim.

And please note, there is a category of "terrorist" that are allowed into the operation safe corridor program. They screening is very thorough and most of those who go for the training are rejected and sent to detention camps to wait for a judge to sentence them. Also the requirement for being considered for the program is that the person must surrender willingly...... When was the last time NA even took prisoners?
I did a lengthy post on the workings of operation safe corridor when some crack heads insinuated they joined the army, the post is still there, a simple research will take you there.
People that have information seek for it, you can't vomit the opinion of a useless SM influencer then expect to be taken seriously.

10 killed, 30 missing as Amotekun allegedly ‘joined hoodlums to attack Northerners’ in Oyo

At least 10 people have been killed, 70 sustained gunshots injuries and over 30 Northerners declared missing in a deadly attack on Sasa Market traders in Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State.

DAILY NIGERIAN gathered over 6,000 Northerners, mostly Hausas, are currently taking refuge at the residence of Sarkin Sasa, Haruna Maiyasin.

“I have over 6,000 displaced people packed in my house. Many people have been killed, while others injured,” Mr Maiyasin told DAILY NIGERIAN.

Witnesses said the crisis erupted on Thursday when a porter carrying a basket of tomato inadvertently nudged a Yoruba woman. The woman allegedly retaliated and organised a group of Yoruba thugs to avenge.

DAILY NIGERIAN gathered that after the fight, one of the thugs died in the hospital.

When the news of the death circulated, the Yoruba youths allegedly gathered and started attacking the Northern traders.

In a interview with DAILY NIGERIAN, the chairman of Sasa Market Traders, Usman Yako, said they informed the police immediately after the report of the death, but the police did not promptly respond to their call until the situation went out of control.

“We called the police to inform them about the issue, and possible break down of law and order, but they did not take action immediately until the situation deteriorated,” he said.

According to Mr Yako, when the operatives of the regional security outfit, Amotekun, came, they started shooting at Northern traders instead of protecting them from attack.

“When Amotekun came, they started shooting at Northerners. The hoodlums started setting houses ablaze, shooting and burning Hausa traders’ shops.

“It is apparent that it was a targeted attack on Hausas and other Northerners.

“The attack also spread to the Lagos-Ojo Expressway, which is not far from the market. Trailers belonging to Northerners were looted, burnt down, and the drivers slaughtered.

“We were invited to Government House yesterday (Friday), and two of us were delegated. Nothing was actually done to avert the crisis and safeguard our lives.

“We have so far counted 10 bodies in the hospital. Over 70 people sustained gunshot injuries. 30 people, including my own brother, are missing,” he added.

On Saturday, Governor Seyi Makinde imposed a curfew on the area and shut the market indefinitely.

A statement by Taiwo Adisa, the spokesman for Governor Seyi Makinde, indicated that the governor gave the order to forestall breakdown of law and order in the area.

The curfew is to run from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m.

The statement warned residents of the affected area to go about their legitimate businesses peacefully, stating that anyone caught perpetrating violence will face the wrath of the law.

Aburi was clear, because of Ethnic tensions, we don't need state police but a decentralized armed forces, this Amotekun is less than a yr old, here we are, history repeating itself.

A video shared online shows Some suspected Fulani herdsmen sharing AK-47 and Ammunition in the Bush for self-defense.

Who could not hear exactly what they were saying but the video shows some weapons in Carton and guns beside them.

According to reports, the Herders are getting ready to fight back as they are being evicted from the Bushes and forests in the southern part of Nigeria due to terrorism.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZgASKp3NZY
It bothers me how you call someone with stolen cattle or no cattle at all a herdsman are you ok?

"Herding" is a trade done by almost all tribes in the Savannah vegetation, I see more Edo herdsmen at my base than Fulani, those Auchi guys are into that trade big time, Yorubas etc, herdsmen are not the problem.

The problem is the Fulani militia, they don't own cattle, they steal it from herdsmen, they pose a threat to herdsmen whose cattle they steal than you who is kidnapped for ransome.
Fulani militia are not herdsmen they are Alqaeda linked terror group from the lower Sahel (Northern Sokoto, Katsina, Jigawa, Yobe & Borno).

With ongoing ops Barkane pushing down their brothers from the Sahel region, drought at some periods of the year, push them down South to create havoc.

Ansaru a splinter Boko haram that almost went extinct after their leader Mamman nur was killed has been revived by this group (FULANI MILITIA), those linked to Ansaru are aka Bandits, the rest are FM.

Ignorant people call them herdsmen, NO, they are not, they don't own cattle, they rustle from herdsmen. There have been few occassions where the cattle breeders association (Cattle owners) hired them to fight their battles but that was so in the past because they possess their own structure now.

The cattle owners (breeders association) is different from the herdmen, also different from the Militia, the only thing the last two share in common is "Fulfude" their central language.
Herdsmen need protection from these Militias more than us.

Ruga was a missed opportunity to protect the herdsmen.
This was explained to me by a herdsman that came to seek refuge, I did a little research & the facts came together, the biggest problem we have in this country is media, they are as useless as a Sanitary towel.
