Success attracts everybody. If you're successful,everybody is your girlfriend,boyfriend,father,mother,sister,brother. Who gives a damn about this guy before,even I've been hearing about him since around last year and 2015,he wasn't that popular and hasn't broken records like he has done now. Upon all his pictures that get posted then,no lady ever said he's handsome or ever had any crush on him. the guy was ignored then,women don't make any comment about him,he was seen as just another boxer in Diaspora that's trying to make it. Joshua is handsome but not exceptionally handsome,not the type of Elvis Presley that has always been noticed for his goodlooks even before fame,Joshua is the type that women wouldn't look twice before he got famous but as this fame started developing and dude was getting extremely popular,he broke a world record as the 2017 world's best heavy weight wrestler and the juicy title put other records he has broken to spotlight and everybody wants to be associated with him,kings and noble men want to be seen with him,that was when women started noticing him and crushing on him. Leave Seun out of this pls. This is not news now. Its a normal thing amongst pastors but the people aren't complaining. They collect money for handshake, infact seeing them one on one is like 20k for some, some even collect special blessing money, gate fee, front seat fee.

I don't think the man is lying. Some collect 10-20k to see them (a day out with Go). Some collect 5k while others collect 1k cross over night church gate fee. Things are happening in Christendom.

It's compulsory now oo. Don't pay and see whether they will wed you, dedicate your baby or any other thing. Infact, the gospel now is that you will go to hell if you don't pay tithe or that you won't be blessed.

You are a pastor on your own. Jesua intention is that the throne be set and all men be there. That is to say, you ought to be a god or Christ in your life. No man I closer to God more than you because God is you and within you. It's just ignorance that have tied man to worship other men in awe.

I won't lie to you my brother has his own shortcomings, he sometimes keeps late nights or won't go home. but he never fails in his responsibilities as a father and husband..... she can't complain of lacking anything. his wickness is keeping late nights maybe like once or twice in a month but I don't blame him on that cos the wife is always making his house uncomfortable for him.

He has already failed in his responsibility. It baffles me when men think bringing money is the only duty and responsibility they owe their family. You can imagine if the woman also say "this man is making life difficult for me, let me keep late night's and not come back at all some days". Marriage is a serious business, you owe each other more than money. You owe each other physical, spiritual, emotional, financial etc obligations to the point that one doesn't own his or herself anymore according to the bible. It's never easy, that's why men and women are always advised to look before they leap into marriage.

Please don't twist scripture. Jesus did not command tithing. Tithing is a form of giving.

Malachi 3: 8. Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

This scripture is commonly applied to tithing alone but as you can see it also involves offerings. Basically God is saying:

Malachi 3: 10. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

You have to look at preceeding the preceeding bible verse(Mal 3:8 ) before concluding on Mal 3:10. The aim is for the house of God to have "meat".

There wasn't much emphasis on tithing in the new testament because the believers usually gave ALL. I believe they did this out of love and because they were expecting the rapture at any moment. Love is key in your giving. A lot of people pay tithe out of fear of devourers. You cannot claim your love is perfect when you react out of fear.

1 John 4:18. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

I do love the modern day tithing system because it's a way of making sure that the church doesn't lack funds. I encourage it to be done out of love. It is not compulsory.

Unto hustling things, it's now a must in churches. My pastor even said if you don't pay tithe you will go to hell as gatekeeper of hell he is. I quietly left the church. They won't even dedicate your baby if you dont pay tithe, God's blessings are now for sale. These men are hustlers simple.

Tithes and offetings are principled in the kingdom of God. It has always been there before the law came . Right from the days of Abraham it has come to stay . Just like other principles like worship , prayer , alms , fasting etc . Testaments don’t change principles

Why didn't he and his disciples pay tithe?. Show me that one in the bible. We clearly lack understanding of the gospel. Let me explain to you what Jesus said there - he said " I know you people invented tithe as a law, very good, but also do the important things. That means it's a law made by men for men, which is good for church upkeep but not mandatory cos we are no longer under law but grace. God only suggest and love a cheerful giver and not a tithe giver. Some will even tell you you will go to hell of you don't pay tithe as gatekeepers of hell they are.
