Point of correction, "Note Verbal" is never from senate but Ministry of Foreign Affair use to identified staff of government (Ministries) and approval of FG (consent) for their staff travelling on official government business. Before it use to be 100% full proof but not anymore because of abuse my travel agents who use their connections in the ministry of Foreign Affairs to procedure Note Verbal for non-government workers.

Please i need your advise on my new UK visa application. Previously (2010) i have apply to Norway for tourist visa but was refused base on the fact that am not married etc but now i intend to apply for UK visiting visa and i want to put in my best into the application.

I intend to submit the following documents for the application:
1) Letter of introduction from my Office includeing my Letter of employment, promotions etc
2) Letter of grating of leave
3) 6 months payment slip
4) Bank statements (with reference letters from the bank) (with over 1M)
5) Hotel Reservation (Also to be included is places i like to visit during the visit  like tour of Cheasel FC stadium)
6)  Landed property documents (worty 1.6M)
7) stock statements (abt 2M)
9) My Own Company Registration Documents including the company account statement (the company is newly registered in March 2011. It currently executiving a sizeable contract)

I need advise concerning my bank statements, due to militians issues in 2008/2009, my company own all of us staff about 5 months slalaries, so as things improves, all  backlogs of salaries were paid so this eans that for some months, i receive more than my usual salary, how can i explain this in my application so that it will not look like cash lodgements.

I will appreciate your tips or advices.

I will be 32 this year and i do have a B.A degree from History & STrategy studies but with over 10 years solid working experience in IT. I have numbers of professional qualification in IT like CCNA, MCITP - Enterprises Administrator, Messaging 2010, Mikrotik. Did Edmonton offering any course that can make me convert this degree into a B.sc in Information Technology with a year or two.

i will tell them 2 get their letter of identification, thats all they need right.

They will surely need to get letter of identification (Introduction) from their university Student affairs Offices address to the UK Visa section. Most unversities both public and private in Nigeria have a standard format /template of such letter, all your sisters need to do to get the letter is to get a letter of introduction from their department plus their Student ID card and submit to the Office of the Student Affair of their univeristy for processing.

They will need to submit the letters from the student affairs and their ID card's for the visa processing.

1) What is your marital status, any kids? Single with no kid(s). It is stated in the refusal letter also.
2) What age group do you fall in? (Say a group if you don't feel comfortable to specify your age; ie 25-30) - Am 31
3) What kind of job do you do, and what income level? Information Technology Expert - 200K Stated also on the refusal letter.
4) How long have you been working with your company? 3 years plus
5) How's your savings like, (the balance matters too). about 1.5M and 1.500 thousand USD but have landed and stock assets also.
6) Have you ever travelled outside Nigeria before? No

As per my documents, what i mean by revalidating is that: I can get my office to reschedule my leave period toward december because of the diffcults of getting the visa.

The Refusal Letter:

The directorate of immmigration regrets to inform you that the visa application has been rejected.

The request for a visa has been refused because you do not satisfy one or more of the conditions under section 10 of the immigration act. The reasons for refusal are also listed in article 32(1) of the Schengen Community Code on Visa (visa Code) which is implemented in the immigration regulation.

According to the immigration act section 10 second paragraph and article 32(1) letter b in the visa code, an application for a visa may be rejected if considered necessary due to immgration regulatory considerations.

Where our and the local schengen cooperation's experince with specific groups and nationalities indicated that many fail to leave Norway or the schengen area upon expiratyion of thier visas, it has become our pratice to issue a visa only in exceptional cases.

Probability of return is assessed individually and important is attached to both emigration potential in the applicant's country of origin and to the individual factors regarding the applicant.

We have noted that the applicants comes from a country with a great potential for emigration due to its social and economic situation. in our experience, many applicants from Nigeria wish to resettle in other countries.

The applicant is unmarried ands has no children. He is said to be engaged in regular employment as an information technology expert. however, the directorate does not give this decisive weight.  Reference is made to our experience that many applicants consider job and income prospects in norway or another country in the schengen area as more attractive compare with those of his country of origin.

After considering these aspects of the application, the directorate of immigration finds that the applicant lacks the necessary ties to his country of origin.

The directorate of immigration does not consider there to be sufficiently welfare reasons to justify tyhe issueing of a visa. We refer to the fact that the purpose of the visa is only tourism, and that he hoes not have any reference in norway.

The decision can be appealed, cf. the public administration act section 28 first paragraph. the appeal has to be sent to the directorate of immigration or the foreign service mission. the directorate will review the case, if the directorate does not find any reason to reverse its decision, the case will be sent to the immigration appeals board.

update:

After 14 days, the embassy did not get back to me, so i call and also e-mail them.

Here is their reply to mail concerning my application status:

"Your application was forwarded to the Norwegian Immigration to decide on your case.
You will contact you as soon as a decision is reached on your case."

The interview took place 21.09.2010. The consular said they will get back to me in 14 days time and also request that i purchase my flight ticket. Anyway i have e-mail the emassy today to confirm if i should purchase the flight ticket without informing me on the outcome of the application.

You may need to include your int. passport to the IV and also get an affidavit to support your claim of been a nigerian. Don't forget to include your full contact details in the letter.

How can you make a flight Reservation for use either Finland or Norway Embassy.

i have an interview with norway embassy in nigeria for Spetember 14, 2010 for a tourist visa and i need advise/tips to ensure the success of this application. Here are the documents i intend to submit.

You are a proper thief, i spoke to this guy regarding the said "senghen visa" , can you believe how much this fool called Four hundren and Fifty Thousand Naira (N450,000.00) . Visiting visa for 90 days.
