Mr old mangrin
being a SMART criminal dosent mean that your cup will not full one day.
APC are bokoharam but they are too smart and fast in covering their tracks BUT one day it will be their end and even you will be dumbfounded.
I ask you again this insurgency went rapidly after GEJ won 2011 election AM I LYING?

With that only you will know the objective of APC.

So bro its never too late for you and I pray that God will open your eyes to see the atrocities of APC.
Our security agents are seeing things but people involved are just too powerful and smart.
SHOUT GEJ till 2019 always and you will experience peace you long lost in APC.

Remain blessed

Your brain reasoning fuse has a fault, can you/PDP/GEJ please be reasonable for once, the first primary responsibility of any government in power is to protect life and properties of its citizen, but reversal is the case there, blaming and labeling opposition and anybody that does not support the president ambition as boko haram is wholly irresponsible and incompetence.

As I'm typing this comment, I'm in a hotel room, in Norcross Georgia, visiting my daughter in Kennesaw state university. I don't need your N1M to put food on my table.

Politics / Re: What Is Happening To APC? by jt2010: 2:01pm On Aug 28, 2014
atlwireles: APC was never designed as a political party, but a vehicle to arrest power from what its founders saw as the SS/SE coalition. That dream is slowly fading away, and with it, the demon Nigerians saw and called APC. After 2015, I expect other political parties to emerge from the SW and NW. They will become the new opposition parties. Trying to sell hate and anger, has proven once again, not be a way to win votes in a democratic setting.

You statement is fully of cheap mendacities and denigrations statements tailor to suit your fish/chicken brain. Mention the hate and angel tell about APC but we all know how the FG/PDP is using Tribal sentiment (even the bold in your statement) and religious claims to divide this country because of 2015. The only achievement of the present FG/PDP is allowing the effort of our past Hero’s to go in vain through cheap mendacities and denigrations statements coming from your likes including PDP and FG.

What did you understand vibrant opposition to mean the last time i still remember, APGA and Labour Party are still an opposition party ?

Politics / Jega Confirmed That APC Noise About An Attempts To Rig The Election Was Genuine by jt2010: 9:02am On Aug 21, 2014
The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Attahiru Jega, said on Wednesday that the commission would not allow security operatives to be masked during the 2015 general elections.

Jega said this in Abuja during an interactive session with both local and international civil society organisations involved in monitoring elections in the country.
He had on Tuesday, during the public hearing organised by the House of Representatives on the bill for the amendment of the Electoral Act, 2010, backed a proposed amendment that would confer the exclusive power to manage and assign security men during elections on INEC.
The bill also sought to limit the role of the military during elections.
Jega told the CSO representatives on Wednesday that the emerging trend of security operatives wearing mask during elections was worrisome.
According to him, the wearing of hood by security men during elections is not in tandem with the principle of transparency guiding the conduct of an election. He said, “In recent times, we have witnessed an increased presence of hooded security operatives during elections. This is an emerging trend which is highly worrisome and which needs to be addressed in good time.
“Security agents who are deployed on election duties should not be masked, the doctrine of transparency requires that they should be identifiable.

“We will not allow such persons during the 2015 elections. Any security personnel deployed for the election must be someone identifiable such that if anything happens we will be able to know who to hold responsiblemJega also decried the over-zealousness of some security agents during the August 9 governorship election in Osun state.
He disclosed that security operatives had erroneously arrested some members of staff of the commission and nine youth corp members, engaged as INEC ad-hoc staff, were erroneously arrested and kept in detention for over 12 hours. He said that they were arrested around 9pm on the eve of the election while on their way to the Registration Area Centers, RACs, which was provided for them by the Commission.“They were not released until about 6am the next day, a situation that almost disrupted the distribution of electoral materials in some areas.
“It was sheer luck that we still managed to open the polling units early, otherwise, there would have been disaster. We took a serious view of that and reported the matter to all the appropriate authorities because at a point we became worried that some persons wanted to undermine our effort.”

He however maintained that the perceived over militarization of the just concluded governorship elections in Ekiti and Osun states, did not deter electorate from voting for their desired candidate.

He said, “In fact, the two elections proved that there was a high correlation between the massive deployment of security and the willingness of people to come out and vote.

“Apart from over-zealousness on the part of some of the security men on the field, we discovered that people actually felt more secured to exercise their franchise. The key lesson our politicians need to learn from the two elections is that the era has gone when they relied on corrupt electoral officers or security agents to manipulate elections.

“In this era, any politician that intend to win election must reach out and convince the voters, be it through ‘stomach-infrastructure’ or otherwise. The only guarantee to win election now is to let the voters come out to vote for you, which in turn means that you must first of all convince them on your credibility.

He also disclosed that prior to the Osun State election, some “unscrupulous elements” had attempted to use software to rig the poll.

He said, “We discovered that some people had invaded our system with software that was reducing age on the register. Thank God that we discovered it before it was too late and had to put aside the register and produced another one, even though it was at a very high cost.

“Despite the challenge, the Osun State election has been adjudged as one of the best we have conducted recently when judged by all variables for assessing a successful election. Though the election was not perfect, we however did a lot to improve on the Ekiti election.

“It is also worthy to mention that before the Osun election, security agents were able to identify thugs that were imported into the state by politicians.”

VisaOfficer: Nairalanders, help your VO out here... What does it mean when someone says he has a "school daughter"?

School daughter or school mother refers to some stuff of relationship between a senior student and a junior student. The school daughter mostly lookup to her school mother for guardian, role model or protection etc.

Most time, the relationship go beyond their school years, that the school mother may now become the god-mother!!! which means she (god-mother) look out for the School daughter interest most times.

Note: as ferdimako said, the relationship is mutual and not intimate.

Politics / Wike Weeps As PDP Blocks His Gubernatorial Aspirations by jt2010: 2:52pm On Jul 07, 2014
The battle of wits in the Rivers PDP has finally dealt a blow on the supervising Minister for Education, Nyeso Wike as he and his men wept uncontrollably on Tuesday night when the Minister broke the news that he has been asked to drop his governorship ambition by the powers that be.
According to Prince Chidi Weli the Spokesperson of RIVERS PROGRESSIVE FORUM, “it was not clear on what eventually led to this decision by the Presidency and the PDP to stop Chief Nyesome but unconfirmed reports from a source who was privy to the meeting said the internal crisis within the state chapter of the PDP was largely responsible for the Minister’s current woes.
Wike who was seen as the man responsible for the widening of gaps between the Presidency and the Rivers State Governor had hijacked the Party machinery from Gov. Amaechi who had trusted him with the political aspect of his government was shocked when the state Party Chairman, G.U. Ake was replaced by Felix Obuah who was never part of the Congress that voted Ake into office. It was alleged that Goround as he is popularly called had travelled out of the country two days before the Congress. But in what looks like a scene from Nollywood, Obuah, a close ally of Ake was the willing tool in the hands of Wike and Prince Uche Secondus to nail Amaechi at all cost.
It was gathered that Ake actually won the election but resumed duty at the State Party Secreariat without a Certificate of Return from the National Secreariat of the Party. That thud afforded these men the opportunity to append Obuah’s name on the Certificate which they presented in Court. Surprisingly, the Court refused to admit a video evidence of the Congress tendered by Ake’s counsel. INEC officials were not left out in this conspiracy.
At the end, Ake lost out to a man who did not even pick a nomination form and was not part of the Congress. As Ake lost, so did Amaechi.
The stage was then set for the frustration of Amaechi out of the Pary. Wike did not stop to show his disdain for his former boss and ally. He became the hatchet man for the job of pulling Anaechi down in defence of his new found boss, President Jonathan.
He was given a free hand to run the Ministry of Education, after the unceremonious exit of the Minister. Choice contracts were awarded to cronies and supporters even at tge expense of poor quality jobs. In some cases, it was alleged that the jobs were not executed but payments were made.
The failed attempt to impeach Amaechi also proved another opportunity for millions of naira to exchange hands. While the siege on Rivers state lasted with the alleged support of the First Lady, the President kept mum.
But Wike may have bitten more than he could chew when his crony, Obuah publicly announced Wike’s ambition to succeed Amaechi. Using the GDI, he hijacked the party structure while he trasversed the nooks and crannies of the state. He moved unchallenged until Elemchukwu Ogbowu dared him. Ogbowu said it was morally wrong for Wike, an Ikwerre man to succeed his kinsman, Amaechi. The former lawmaker said the proper thing was for power to shift to the Riverine people of Kalabari or to the Upland people of Ogoni.
That audacity to challenge Wike and Obuah incurred a suspension and later an expulsion hammer on Ogbowu and a few others with him. But Ogbowu was not done yet as he galvanised the support of those who were against the plot to enthrone Wike and together they petitioned the NWC of the PDP led by Adamu Muazu.
The pressure was on Wike to recall the men and drop his ambition, but as it is said, whom the gods want to kill, they first make mad; Wike would not bulge, rather he went ahead to sponsor his crony, Chukwuemeka Aaron to obtain a suspicious Court order restraining the PDP National from dissolving or changing the Rivers Exco led by Obuah. This was a move aimed at stopping the Party from changing the Exco during the forthcoming mini – convention of the party in July.
Unknown to Wike, that was his death nail as that action angered the Party leadership as well as the President.
Last week, he was asked to vacate the Order but he chose to ‘fight back’, more so when he had spent so much in pursuing his ambition.
Now, it is obvious that he would be dropped from the Federal Executive Council, having tendered his resignation notice; it is just enough reason for him and his foot soldiers to weep.
Our source also gathered that the meeting which lasted into the wee hours of the morning were brainstorming on how best to break the news to the public. The group agreed that a Press Statement would be issued claiming that the Minister never had any such ambition.

Politics / President Jonathan Using Ecological Fund To Dispense Favour To Cronies - APC" - by jt2010: 1:26pm On Dec 11, 2013
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused President Goodluck Jonathan of using the Ecological Fund, set up to address the country's serious ecological problems, as a tool to further divide the ranks of the nation's Governors and solidify his reputation as a partisan and sectional leader.

In a statement issued in Oyo on Wednesday by its Interim National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said President Jonathan's decision to grant 2 billion Naira each to 17 states, none of which belongs to the main opposition APC and all of which are controlled by Governors deemed to be Jonathan's supporters, negates what he should be: The leader of the whole nation!

It wondered what kind of coincidence would exclude all the APC-controlled states from being considered for receiving assistance from the Ecological Fund, ''when we have it on good authority that our Governors even sought such assistance''.

''The 2 billion naira assistance was given to Abia, Anambra, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Benue, Cross River, Gombe, Kaduna, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Ondo, Plateau, Ebonyi, Delta, Enugu and Taraba States.

''Before then, 5 billion Naira had been given to Akwa Ibom State ostensibly for 'urgent matters' while 8 billion Naira was given to Anambra for the 'maintenance of the Niger bridge', in reality perhaps a slush fund for the stolen gubernatorial election in the state.

''To the best of our knowledge, even if 8 billion naira is not enough to construct a second Niger bridge, it will go a long way. "

We are yet to see any maintenance to justify such a huge fund that was given for that purpose, further confirming our fearson what the real purpose of that money might have been.

''It is sad that a President whose divisive politics helped to break the ranks of the nation's State Governors has now graduatedto using funds from the Federation Account to dispense favours to Governors he perceive to be his cronies.

''This is the tragedy of a President who was elected on a pan-Nigerian mandate but has now turned himself to a sectional, partisan and most divisive leader in the country's history,'' APC said.

The CBN governor was obviously not aware of how proceeds from oil sale is remitted to different government agencies like the FIRS, DPR, NPDC, etc. How can $50 billion be missing? We all know that the NNPC is corrupt right from the day of Abraham, but $50 billion under one year is not possible. What Nigerians need now is a joint press conference by the CBN, NNPC, FIRS, NPDC, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of petroleum to reconcile their figures publicly. And if by chance this is a false alarm, then the CBN governor should resign, and if there is actually missing money, those responsible should be made to face the law.

PointB: So why did Obj nominate GEJ as Vice President in the first place? Didn't he see GEJ primarily as an Ijaw man who will calm the militancy in the Niger Delta?

I am constrained to believe that Obj is angry because he couldn't get what he want - control of the presidency. Obj supervised the worst elections in Nigeria history, under the notorious 'do and die' politics. It is this same Obj who came our from prison with less than N20000 in his account, only to own multi-million business concern soon after. Was it not same Obj who gave $16 billion worth or darkness after 8 years?

The argument on polarisation of the country along ethnic line is true, but it if Nigeria has been a united when equity and fairness has been long enthrone, this so-called polarisation wouldn't have had the ground to breed. Personally, I prefer a country where everyone who has a grudge is allowed to express them, rather than one which pretends all is well.

Truth be told, GEJ is not perfect, he has many flaws, and could have done a few things in different way. But on the balance of things, he is a much better President than all past presidents - Obj included.

Much better Person or President?
