Also, should i call or e.mail them 2 knw the status of our review or i shud i re-apply again
The monthly payment slips is a example documentary evident that you/ur businessgrin pay you for services you rendered to the company. It help to demonstrate that you and your company are separate entity and also maintenance a good accounting practice. I believe the contractual agreement between u and the agent may help your case (just incase you want to reapply) or better still you can remove the documents if it will make your application complicate unless much of your income come from such investment.

Also, should i call or e.mail them 2 knw the status of our review or i shud i re-apply again. To me, no problem in emailling them to know the status of your review but whether to re-apply again immediately is something i will advise you relax for a little while... but just wait for the experts live VIC, JUSTWISE AND CO... to advise you on that....

yasuleiman: @justwise & other u.k travel experts. Well done on the wonderful job you are doing. Please assist,
My family(i.ewife, child&I)applied 4 visa as a general visitor twice&refused.

The documents i submitted are;
*C.A.C-certificate of biz name(newly registered)
*my savings&current acct
*my wifes' saving acct
*used cash sale invoice(i deal in generators,spare-parts e.t.c)
*wedding certificate
*several pictures 4rm wedding
*my childs' birthday certificate
*hotel reservation
*flight booking

The reasons for the 1st refusal;
*earn ₦210,843.16/mth as a self employed
*the documents i submitted relating 2 d business circumstances did not indicate my earnings
*that i have failed 2 submit unambiguous evidence of my income such as my income tax clearance certificate
*though they acknowledge that they have seen my personal bank statements indicating enough funds available, but without satisfactory evidence 2 d origin of these funds.
After d first refusal,i contacted my lawyer. He had 2 address d complaints.So, on d 2nd application, we included;
*copy of letter showing my tax exemption til 2015 (In Oyo state, its not mandatory for a newly registered company to pay income tax until after 3yrs of commencement of biz)
*the copy of wil of my late father(cos i stated in the form that i also generate earnings from other source i.e late fathers' property)

To my surprise, it was refused the 2nd time. The reasons are;
*the amount i earn as a self employed businessman is the precise monthly income, but submitted no evidence of this
*my bank statements does not reflect deposits commensurate with my declared income
*no evidence of income from property

After the 2nd refusal, my lawyer advised we apply 4 administrative review. On the 18th june, 2012, we applied and sent it through registered mail 4rm Nigerian Post office to BHC office in Abuja. Til now, i have not gotten an acknowledgement or reply from BHC office.

What assurance do i have that they have gotten my mail. Do i need to send an e.mail or try to call them to confirm our status. Maybe i should just sit down and pray
Base on the bolder part, you ought to have included a Monthly payment slip for Six months and duplicate copies of Receipts of rent paid to you by your tenants and any other transactions documents of the incomes.

EyesWideOpen: Kai! The comments I've read so far are nothing short of baffling. What is wrong with some people?
I don't see the benefit of IBB's coming out and condemning BH. And I blv anyone wit a healthy brain can see that there's no benefit whatsoever to that.
If he (IBB) sponsors BH, can't he publically condemn them, and go on sponsoring them behind closed doors, just as a setup so the mouths of Clark and co. will be shut up for good?
But I blv Edwin Clark's palm wine soaked brain cannot see this. Mtschewww!!!
OP, u are on point 1000% o jare!!! Clark is just tiring to be relevant to his Ijaw brother (GEJ), just like IBB spokesman has said, the old man is not given Mr. President good counsel instead he is encouraging GEJ to ignore the main issues and pursuit shadows!!!
Is it not suppose to be easier to condemn Boko Haram than replying Clarke? He never said outrightly that IBB was a sponsor. IBB's refusal and gimmiks is only going to strengthen Clarke's point. Clarke may not be the smartest but for IBB and Buhari to vehemently condemn BH should not be so difficult. Or, is it?
Why placing a difficult tasks on them when the FG is not even willing to utilize the smallest information at his disposal to fight the BH group. Mr. President claim to name the sponsor of BH, let him name them first then IBB and Buhari can vehemently condemn BH for him. Nonsense talk from a clueless president and its Ijaw cabals
PoliticsRe: Clark's Statement Senseless & Misguided - IBB by jt2010: 1:39pm On Aug 06, 2012
What is the rational for Clark to tell IBB to publicly condemn Boko Haram. Mind you, both IBB & OBJ has public solicited for peacely and urged all citizen to shun violence so what did you expect them to do again (Abi Clark want IBB to wear uniform to fight BH while its drunker fisherman bother continue to dey eat Cassava bread for aso rock). If IBB came up to talk tough now, na the same Clark and its Ijaw Cabals go claim say some ex-general and president want to disrupt their son administration.

GEJ and his handlers (Clark & other cabals) can never stop blaming someone else for its clueless.

Bros,

Extract of statement from CBN Governor,
Lamido Sanusi, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), said on Tuesday after the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting that risks to the country’s economy from high government spending, worsening security problems and lower oil output were “ominous”.
Tell me the CBN governor is paid to discredit GEJ.
PoliticsRe: First Ladies' Summit: 200 Cars Claim Denied By Abati by jt2010: 10:32am On Jul 26, 2012
Billyonaire: So much hate out here. The question is, did Presidency spend government money rent cars for first lady's summit ? The answer is no. Anyone who has seen invoice sent to Government by Coscharis should tell me how much was written there. Coscharis is a rich company, they even gave Genevieve Range Rover Evoque for promotion, Hyundai gave WhizKid Sonata as a gift, its calledd PR, how much more giving 200 exotic cars to First Ladies for temporal use. Infact, I am ready to even give my cars to First ladies to use to promote my firm. Its called PR.
nagoma:

You are out of touch with the loss of hope among Nigerians, you would have seen the rationale in suspecting foul play here. Here we have a president who is physically fit, presumably well educated and with an experience that should be the envy of any US president (a State Deputy Governor, a State Governor , a Country Vice President and then a President) and yet exhebits a glaringly obvious lack of capacity and will to arrest the escalating monumental corruption that characterizes his government. A president who promises transformation has no inclination to move the life of the ordinary nigerian citezen to a better state. Nigerians are angry please.
And if Choscaris is just a philanthropic organization that is eager to help the first lady and the country why are they hesitant to explain what they are doing. Why should helping the country be shrouded in secrecy? Nigerians cannot continue to be fooled and bamboozled even if you guys are given 4000 lap tops.

Why are you talking up and down like a little Kid. Abati said the cars are for Africa First lady's event and the cars will be returned after the events. The cars are hired. So you dont want us to host the event, or you dont want the cars to be hired. You want us to use bicycles to ferry the first ladies ?
In one of your previous post, you claim the cars are hired, now you are claiming PR. Giving out one car is different from giving our 200 cars. If one of the cars cost N5M, it means N5 million multiple by 200. Please tell us the turnover of Coscharis.

Also MTN, GLO, ETISALAT, VISAFONE, CADBURY, NESTLE, All Nigerian Banks and any other company that has ever sponsored an event, given out free gifts as either Promo ro P.R are now to be called FATHER CHRITMASes.. So Says MUFC009..

Now shut up before you say something even more stupid than this..
Bros, Please help read and analysis this extract statement from Abati and tell us your understanding of the statement.

Dame Patience Jonathan, Coscharis Motors Ltd. offered to provide some cars for the event at no cost to the organizers or the Federal Government of Nigeria.
How many people who actually watch Nigerian movies can afford the Range Rover Evoque?!!

Could they have given it to like a Dame Jonathan whom 99% of her close friends could possibly buy one?!!

ITS called P.R sir... Same as Coscharis sponsoring the All Africa Games in 2003 (COJA).. The P.R they got from that made the BMW 3 Series popularly called COJA a household name and also sold insane numbers of that brand of car... The move was priceless.

So this is also business sir..

So whats your point!!
I disagree with your statement. When a company advert a products, they do not expect every body to buy the products, such products is aim at their target audience and they look out for any person that has the similarity to drive home the products to their target customers and Genevivi in this case is a perfect person for such exotic car.

Bros, spare us this defense, Coscharis did not give out free BMW 3 Series for the All Africa Games in 2003 (COJA), it was a total business transaction that involve government paying. Please provide your evident that prove it was free or PR as you claim.
PoliticsRe: First Ladies' Summit: 200 Cars Claim Denied By Abati by jt2010: 10:03am On Jul 26, 2012
Yes indeed they are...

They just gave away for free the latest Range Rover Evoque to a Nollywood actress..

And this will not be the forst time they will be doing such..

You forget to complete the statement that "For been the brand ambassador for that Range Rover Evoque brand". That is strictly busines because she will promote the brand for the fact that she is a celebrity and so many of a fan look up to her for style trend.
PoliticsRe: First Ladies' Summit: 200 Cars Claim Denied By Abati by jt2010: 9:50am On Jul 26, 2012
Billyonaire: There is no rational behind reporting such falsehood other than promote negativity, Because there is no way, the Presidency would have authorized purchase of 200 vehicles for an event. Its unprofessional journalism.
OP, there is no falsehood in the daily trust report because the statement from Abati sound concern about the news headline and not about the detail in the report.

This are the fact that even Abati did not dispute about the report:
1) 200 Exotic cars was dash/hire/purchase shocked for the events -- FACT
2) The News house contacted both the FG and Coscharis Motors Ltd to confirm if the cars was dash/PR/hired/purchased, but none of them (FG or Coscharis Motors Ltd) provide facts on the issue, so the news-house reported the news of the 200 cars and emphasis that they are enable to verify if the cars are hired/purchased.

Now read this extract statement from Abati response and tell us what it means plz.
Dame Patience Jonathan, Coscharis Motors Ltd. offered to provide some cars for the event at no cost to the organizers or the Federal Government of Nigeria.

PoliticsRe: JEPTFON Threatens Strike As Fuel Scarcity Looms by jt2010: 4:17pm On Jul 21, 2012
dedeike: You re the one who lacks common sense. Fuel subsidy regime is a bane to our development.
First, the idea of using almost one quarter of your national budget to subsidize one single commodity is fundamentally faulty. No economy thrives under that kind of arrangement.

Secondly, it is difficult, given our bad public sector attitude, to use NNPC to build and manage more refineries. We have tried it severally in the past and it ain't working. Successive govts in Nigeria have wasted trillions of Naira in turn around maintenance. It's more lucrative for a govt that wants to corruptly enrich itself to award more contracts fr such turn around maintenance and benefit massively from it. But who manages the refineries afterwards? NNPC?

Thirdly, we need private sector investments in refineries. And for you to achieve this, you need to discourage importation. And for you to discourage importation, you have to remove subsidy so that importation will be less attractive.
No private sector investor will be willing to invest in a sector where prices are fixed by govt.
No private sector investor will take the pains to undertake the long term projects of constructing refineries where his competitors are making quick money from importing PMS and collecting subsidy claims.
So we find ourselves i

n a fix. No progress. No movement.
OP, How is Fuel subsidy regime a bane to our development, one fact all of you guys arguing about removal of Fuel subsidy cannot dispute is that it is the only thing that common Nigeria man benefit both directly and indirectly from government, so why removing the only benefit, even the stupid IMF that hinted the idea are been hypocrite with their idea because all developed nations ranging from USA, Canada, UK, Europe etc have a lot of welfare packages and subsidy for their citizen (In Ireland, child benefit for a single child is as much of 400 pounds per month) so in a family of four children, it means government pay 400 x 4 = 1600 pounds x 250 (Naira conversion) = N400,000.00. You also need to remember that school and health care are almost free so why is IMF not telling them to remove such benefits from their citizens. If subsiding fuel will make Nigeria under-developed, please let it be afterall the president is eat cassava bread for 1 Billion naira in a year. grin

Your submission lack any logical sense, you also went ahead to claims that subsidy is about making quick money yet your petroleum Minister and Minister of finance does not know our daily fuel consumptions figure and yet you blame that on the importers of such PMS. If the government is doing its jobs properly, a subsidy which in previous years has always been between 300 to 500 billions will not jump to 1.5 Trillion during the election of Mr. President. lipsrsealed cry
It is one of the major problems that we have in this country, condemning our leaders at every opportunity and avenue, we will do them more good than harm if we keep advising and supporting them sometimes.
To our Nigeria politician, the ideal of keep advising and supporting them sometimes. means looking for government patronage!!! So you either be for them or against them.

So if you advise and support them.... you are for them
if you criticize their policy .... it means you resentment them and you are against them....

Iolo: All these agencies/funds are to be created within 3 months of the bills passage. Here's a little info on each agency and fund to be created.

1. National Oil Company:

Is to assume assets and liablities of the NNPC to an extent (not wholly). It is to be registered as an ltd but wholly owned by the Ministry of Finance (MOF) and Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) on behalf of the FG. The FG is to make the company listed (or available to the public) thereby divesting parts of its shares within a 3 year period.

Dowside - bill doesn't say how much divestment the FG should make.

Asset Management Company: to retain assets and liabilites of the NNPC, JVs etc. (Existing NNPC staff are shared between it and the NOC)

Host Communities Fund: Each company involved in drilling oil must pay 10% of their NET PROFIT tothe fund each year.

Petroleum Technology Developement Fund - didn't read about this
OP, Thus i have not read the PIB 2012 bill, but if you that has run through and all you can extract from it are just name changes, then the bill is death on arrival. undecided embarassed lipsrsealed

NYSCRe: FG Overrules NYSC On Posting To Troubled States by jt2010: 1:33pm On Jul 11, 2012
maclatunji: On the contrary, you lack the capacity to put my post in proper context. I have already said I don't support posting of Corp members in those volatile states. However, what you people fail to realise is that Nigeria is not all that big in terms of geography. What you think is far in all of those northern states is quite close to your doorstep. Hence, if it is self-preservation that you seek, you need to stop complaining or asking the government tough questions only when you or yours are posted to troubled states but at all times when it fails to act right especially on security in any part of Nigeria.

Then again, if all the people or the majority of people in those states left of their own "volition", what effect would that have on you, your food supply, security and standard of living?

Even if Nigeria were to break up, do you think your region would be exclusively populated by your tribe? There would be millions of people from other tribes with resources and yes weapons to bring the battle to your door step as illegal aliens. Your new country will not be able to build an effective army immediately but will have enough militants with heavy weapons bougth from around the world to make it a living hell.

In addition the two or more new countries would fight over assets and border demarcation, it won't be pretty.

You see the issues are not as simple as you seek to make them. Nigeria will sink deeper if most of its people continue to think like you and the next thing you will be looking for is a foreign country to run to. Do you think they will welcome you when you have messed-up yours?
Op, Simple and straight, you are speaking from the two side of your mouth!!! Hypocrisy
