Your simply an outdated guy not conversant with political events in an area you claim to reside.

Anyway, News flash dude, The Court of Law recognised Nyesom Wike faction as the authentic faction. A reason why the aforementioned Minister is courageous to fiercely engage Amaechi despite his loyalist in Rivers State Govt.

You need to get updated and above all THINK .

Your ignorant has no limits, I still repeat that only a naive politicians will start counting his eggs before they are hatched... yes, a court of law make such declaration by the the Odua Faction but the case has been Appeal and it is still on, so why are you rejoicing over an half bread.. mind you... it is people that matters and not the pdp structure...

Just tell your lord Amaechi to meet GEJ at the polls. Only naive analyst will feel an Amaechi candidacy will erode GEJ electoral shares in his forte which is the SS and SE.

I liken your naivety to the naive Buhari who felt having Pastor Bakare as his vice will be a game changer in the South. Well we all know the history . . .

We don't need to talk too much . . . .

We are talking about Rivers State here, so don't be smart by half by stylishly mentioning SS or SE region. And one point of correction, Amaechi next political future is the senate and not been a VP as you guy has been wrongly propagandizing about. You cannot be in Surulere and be talking about facts in Port harcourt... so say only what you know!

Wike PDP faction is the authentic faction recognized by the law. Hope you understand what that portends in the grand scheme of things ? . .

Your simply over rating Amaechi grip on the political machinery outside the Govt.he is occupying . . .

See your life... you agree that there is faction of PDP in Rivers state but choose to believe that Wike PDP faction is the authentic one... you are simply counting your eggs before it hatch... which shows you are politically naive tongue grin Anyway, you know the case is still in court, so let the court decide which faction of PDP in Rivers state will be the authentic one.

blink182: this is more like it, I was really beginning to wonder if rivers people are so disloyal or amaechi's work is propaganda.

Think of it this way... if Amaechi is not loved and appreciated by majority of Rivers people... did you think the presidency will fight him this hard with everything that they have got and still not successful?

Only the naive will think otherwise . . . Make Amaechi leave Na go APC to compete against GEJ . .Na beans . . .

When GEJ enter ballot paper, Amaechi Na breeze . . . .

Tell Amaechi he has no electoral worth like GEJ in the SS . . That is a fact . . .

blink182: wow, I reside in delta state and I'm assuming the people will be in support of their performing governor or is it just the usual pdp propaganda.

So many people can't be wrong and is it to say Amaechi is a bad person too or you guys are simply pro-jonathan and can't see anything wrong in what he is doing?

I work and live in Rivers State, so i can tell you in clear terms that those PDP noise na joke, the faction of the PDP (pro-jonathan) are not popular in Rivers state without Amaechi. Amaechi command a huge support base in rivers people thus some few Ikwere people hate him for to sharing the state fund to them but Rivers state is like Lagos; Rivers is homes to large numbers of non-indigenes; who live and work here... So base on my daily interaction with other people here, i can confidently tell you that quite a lot of us here(Rivers) appreciate the good work the governor is doing, so he will have our vote come 2015.

We are not talking because Hon.Chinda told us, we are talking based on what we saw.
Ameachi has been decieving us.
From the video, the man that was attacked did not look like someone that had harmed or intended to harm anyone.
There is no way he would have been that relaxed before he was attacked if he was part of any fracas.
Based on what i saw the police and SSS doing for the gov I am forced to believe that Ameachis problem with the CP is that he has refused to do his bidding.
Would Hon. Bipi have gone back to the chambers if he had asked for Ameachi to be shot?
Are those boys we saw the thugs that he wanted to use to kill the Governor ?

Your statement lack objectivity..

Did you know that, it is the Deputy Governor that was talking to Hon. Bipi when all those thugs are shouting and threaten to break into the house?

Did you know that those section where does thugs are shouting from are restricted areas and they constitute security risk and not talking about their thuggery behaviours.

Pk001: Why should soldiers be attached to Ameachi?
No soldier is attached to a Governor.

I think this is a false report. Maybe they meant soldiers that took orders from Ameachi and Invaded the assembly complex.

They are meant to take command from their brigade Commander, but I don't think that was what happened.

Maybe not in Lagos and some states, but in Niger Delta, na the norms'. Or did you think it is better and right to attached such soldiers to construction and oil companies abi!!!

Politics / Soldiers Withdrawn From Amaechi's Governor's Lodge by jt2010: 6:49pm On Jul 10, 2013
As the political chaos in Rivers State edges towards the cliff, about 30 soldiers guarding the Governor's lodge have been summarily withdrawn by the Brigade Commander in charge of the Joint Task Force (JTF) in Port Harcourt at the orders of President Goodluck Jonathan.

SaharaReporters also learnt that the soldiers took with them two Armored Personnel Cars (APC) usually stationed at Government House.

A military source told our correspondent that the removal of the soldiers was ordered from Abuja. He warned that things might get bloodier in the state capital with the JTF gone from Government House leaving the security of the governor and his aides in the hands of a few police officers and State Security Services agents.

An eyewitness said a new detachment of soldiers came briefly to inspect a third APC that seems disabled.

Saharareporters could not confirm further reports that the soldiers that were removed are being detained and interrogated at the barracks.

President Jonathan is currently on a state visit to China.

Politics / House Of Reps Takes Over Functions Of Rivers House Of Assembly by jt2010: 3:18pm On Jul 10, 2013
The House invoked a section of the Nigerian constitution.

Following the violence that occurred at the Rivers State House of Assembly on Tuesday, the House of Representatives has taken over the functions of the Rivers Assembly.

The federal lawmakers took the decision on Wednesday following debates and approval of a motion and based on section 11, sub section 4 of the 1999 Constitution.

The section states that “At any time when any House of Assembly of a state is unable to perform its functions by reason of the situation prevailing in the state, The National Assembly may make such Laws for the peace, order and good government of that state with respect to matters on which a House of Assembly may make laws as may appear to the National Assembly to be necessary or expedient until such time as the House of Assembly is able to resume its functions; and any such laws enacted by the National Assembly pursuant to this section shall have effect as if they were laws enacted by the House of Assembly of the state.”

Crisis had engulfed the Rivers House of Assembly on Tuesday when five members out of 32 attempted to impeach the Speaker, Otelemaba Amachree.

The confusion that followed led to violence among the state lawmakers with videos of the violence circulated on social media.

Wednesday’s sitting was chaired by the Deputy Speaker of the House, Emeka Ihedioha

Dear All,

Many thanks to jennykadry, menmeta et la.,

I really appreciate you guys advise. I have carefully done a conservative self-assessment of myself in preparation for the GSM route. I think I can attain the passmark of 60 points plus or minus, if i can score 7 in the IELTS GT.

Age – 25 point
English language Ability - Proficient English—IELTS 7 / OET B - 10
Work Experience - 15
Education qualification 10
Nomination by state or territory government - 5 Optional

The most difficult task for me now is to attain a English Proficient 7 in the IELTS GT. Please do any one has the study materials. Please assist with the link if you have. I will appreciate.

Many thanks to

Philosophically speaking, life only mirrors what you present to it.

If you're trying to claim experience in IT, I believe ACS will be the relevant assessing body. To be sincere, (if I'm correct) most assessors will first reckon with your first degree rather than your subsequent ones.

My example: I'm an Engineer with a BSc in my field and a MSc in a sector of that field. Engineers Australia PRIMARILY assessed me on my BSc and an appendage assessment was also given to my MSc even though I studied it abroad. There are three levels you may claim from Engineers Australia: 1. Engineering Manager. 2. Professional Engineer 3. Engineering Technician. I knew my qualifications and years off experience suit a Professional Engineer. I applied for that and I got it. As I continue to practise here, in 10 to 15 years from now, I qualify to be a Engineering Manager (the highest level). See.

If I were you, I will still present my BSc in History & Strategic studies but when I'm writing the report for my application, I'll base my application PRIMARILY on my CISCO, MITP, etc certificates and MSc and seek to be assessed for relevant level. In my own case, say I have an HND, I'd have gone for Engineering Technician. Once I arrive here, I'd work it up from there to the highest level I desire.

Did you get the drift?

@ manmeta, Many thanks.. I will follow your lead and i do appreciate.

Madam Jenny and Manmeta,

Many thanks. Am reading up on the PR route right now, but I already have a little concern about the assessment of qualifications. I do have more than 10 years working experiences in IT but my Bsc is in History and Strategic Studies while my MSc in IT... I have some other IT professional certificates like MCITP and Cisco etc. How can I get access base as an IT Professional if my Bsc degree is in another field. Also what about my previous working experience before my Bsc Degree.

Please give me an hints on how to go about this..

Thanks for your time on our thread . . . We will look into this and get back to you, cos we specializes in dump truck, we wanna get the estimate cost of transportation to the port and that of shipping before we give a quote . . . Looking forward to doing business with you soon

But i will advice that whatever money you are saving in buying the truck, you will pay it back ini shipping, cos shipping from Texas is more expensive and clearing in Lagos as well is not cheap at all if done from texas cos it will go to Apapa instead of Tin Can. . .

Stay with NY Area and Florida environs if possible

Thanks, I will post your the link to show you the type of truck am looking forward to from you.

Please view this link for detailed work conditions for students & their family members: http://www.immi.gov.au/students/students/working_while_studying/
