dominique: How were they identified as terrorists? They've not even been in the country for up to a hour and they were able to identify where precisely the "terrorists" are. Really?
Huh? They'd been monitoring them for weeks. They don't need to be there. Even now, they're still monitoring them. Yeah, they're using satellites and drones.
Tijani009: E no-go well with tinibu and him people soldier opening fire on civilian because of aboki ,at this point I don't stant with one Nigeria again
xeju: Nobody is targeting Edo state to cause trouble. When criminals sense a region with poor security structure, they become emboldened and increase criminality. Is that too hard to understand
I agree with you. The government and the local institutions have to step up.
SmartPolician: Peter Obi is by far the most influential person in ADC. Just before you say it: Forget Atiku Abubakar because he has no influence.
The factors in his favour are being a Northerner, former vice president, moderate Muslim and wealthy.
Moderate Muslim is actually a factor against him. Muslims don't rate him - I've found this out from interacting with Northern Muslims. Others (who are religion-conscious) don't rate him either, since they see him as a Muslim.
Kingpele: He waited to when he's almost gone to look for a son ....well late over never but he should adopt a son to inherit him before this greedy girls of this days knack him to death in the quest of getting pregnant for him
I think baba will be opened to trying IVF and all that.
If you hear some people story you will bow. I once saw a man in his 50's doing this - someone to have a kid with me. Then I heard his story. Turned out he spent his 30's and 40's battling some medical conditions that did not get resolved until he was 50.
If your life had a somewhat smooth trajectory - started school at 6, finished in your 20's. Found something doing. Got married in your 30's. Had kids. Just thank God.
Morbeta11: A 79-year-old British multimillionaire, Sir Benjamin Slade, is seeking a young woman to have a son to inherit his fortune and continue his lineage.
Sir Benjamin Slade, a 79-year-old British baronet and owner of the 1,300-acre Maunsel House estate in Somerset, is advertising for a woman in her 20s or 30s to marry and produce a male heir, offering an annual salary of up to £50,000 plus perks like private jet access.
This echoes his 2025 public appeals for a 'good breeder' to secure his lineage, as he lacks a direct male descendant despite past surrogacy attempts abroad, highlighting tensions between aristocratic traditions and modern inheritance laws.
The post has ignited diverse reactions on X, from satirical volunteer offers and jokes about his timing to broader discussions on declining birth rates and cultural shifts away from traditional family structures in the UK.
Kemetian: Congolese, Kenyans, Ethiopians, Rwandans, etc are Up in Arms Over Their People Wearing NIGERIAN ATTIRE for their Weddings!
The new trend among Africans now, including diaspora Africans of the Caribbean and the USA, is to don NIGERIAN TRADITIONAL OUTFITS for their weddings, naming ceremonies, birthdays, etc.
Kenyan women are now ordering Aso Ebi and Gele for their weddings.
Same as Congolese, Ugandan, Tanzanian women, etc etc.
And some of their people are saying ''Enough is Enough. Where is our own culture? Nigeria will not swallow all of us in this Africa!''
gagzee: To be fair, some of the things you highlighted is true, but see ehn, 2 things I make sure I do when shoping on temu. 1. Read description properly, cause I have made the same mistake, in my earlier days of shopping there I once bought an airpod cover thinking it was the airpod itself, only to go back to the description and saw that I didn't read it properly. So i always read description properly. Second thing is, apart from reading the reviews, i always make sure I check for reviews that post pictures, very very important. So i see an actual sample of what I'm going to get to be sure it's what I would like before going ahead to make the purchase. And I haven't had an issue ever since i started doing these.
Agreed. For the most part. You may be right.
The thing is, an ecommerce platform should not be a minefield where only smart and experienced people can shop. Average people, elderly people, even children, should be able to shop on Temu. That's why these complaints are valid.
erico2k2: If Info is missing you do nt buy, go to the next shop
gagzee: I was a temu addict last year, so I know what I'm saying. I literally bought stuffs almost every month. It's either People don't read or they don't understand the dimensions written. Let's even say there are no information, no wahala. What of reviews? Can't dey check for reviews?.... It's the customer's fault not temu.
Temu reviews are not reliable either. I can testify to that.
I shopped online for the first time in 2002. Two shoes and a home lighter after a friend in US sent a $100 voucher. (Oh, Nipost delivered two of the items and stole one.)
I have been shopping on Jumia and Konga since around 2012 - can't recall the exact year.
I have been shopping steadily on Amazon since 2018. It's where I get all my shoes and most of the supplements I take to manage my conditions.
I have been shopping on AliExpress steadily since around 2018.
And I have shopped on Temu since last year.
These things people complain about, only AliExpress and Temu have these issues. My rule these days is that there are certain things I won't buy from certain places. For Temu, I restrict myself to the fencing wires I used on my farm and few kitchen tools - because I know all I have to do is check the dimensions.
Since the day Temu put up a whole machine whereas it was just the blade of the machine they were going to ship, I learnt my lesson. I've also bought a pen from them I can't use - because it doesn't work.
The only online platform I buy shoes from today is Amazon - because the dimensions are always perfect. I also buy supplements there because they don't put up fake reviews or delete bad reviews.
Even Nigeria's Jumia and Konga are better than Temu. Konga deletes bad reviews but they don't go so much out of their way to trick you into thinking something is something it's not the way Temu does.
AliExpress is still better than Temu because it's on a shop by shop basis, while Temu is not. I once ordered an item on AliExpress, and the seller sent me a message to cancel, that the item I ordered was just a stick and not what I thought it was. So why did you put it up in the first place?
Why are there so many complaints about Temu? Because we're all idiots who can't read labels? Amazon, Konga, Jumia, etc. will put up a phone battery, label it battery. Temu will up the phone's picture, label it a phone - whereas the it's just the battery they're selling. Why? Anyone that says all you have to do is read dimensions does not understand how deception works. Reading every print and dimension can reduce this problem. But it won't eliminate it.
Those dudes don lose their jobs or better still prison they wait them......
Ig go just deny them sharp sharp
Only low-level guys lose their jobs. Nothing will happen to the DCP. Even the low-level guys, not all of them lose their jobs - some only lose it on TV.
gagzee: It's not temu's fault. Most people are simply just greedy and stupid. All necessary information about a product is always written there, dimensions, specifications and all. But greed no go let them read, they only look at fancy pictures and place orders.
Ogbujaja: I think its the buyer's fault that he doesn't go through the details of what he is ordering. There are always dimensions to their products. Even though the picture may be magnified, but the dimensions remain accurate to the product size in question.
People keep saying this, but it's not always the case. Sometimes, some key info is missing - while there's just enough info to make you think it's what it isn't.
Kaczynski: DSS works within and outside the country . They go on outside mission from there they share intel with interpol.
You watch too many film. NIA does not exist anymore , it used to exist during the miltary regime.
Nigeria cannot extradite someone from any country just like that. If i go to Iran , nepal or even china , do you really think them will deport me and hand me over to nigeria??
Nigeria cannot even get back simon ekpa , imagine finland giving excuses of him serving jail time there . Its not country thats like kenya
Simon Ekpa is your reason for thinking the NIA doesn't exist? What of Nnamdi Kanu?
Ekpa is in a European country and the government chose to follow the matter diplomatically.
Yes, DSS can go on foreign missions if it's incidental to a case, but their primary brief if domestic. Ordinary police sef do go on foreign missions. Doesn't stop the NIA from existing. When the NIA attempted to grab Hundeyin from Ghana a couple of years back, I bet you were somewhere thinking they don't exist.
LeeSmart: Bros u see that ISI and india RAW? these guys will best any other European intelligence agency (only CIA, MOSSAD and MSS are stronger than them)
RAW is good. But they're not in the same class as CIA, MI6 or Mossad. And the other one, IS-what?
