MrEverest: I cant but marvel at the kind of hypocrisy & cowardice you people always unabashedly put on display! Nobody is talking about strangers respecting their host again!! Irrespective of the fact that the malos are at fault here, brazenly killing, burning & destroying your properties with impunity & even threatning to wreak more havoc on your people, all you could do, "tongue in cheek" & "tail inbetween legs" is this shameful & gutless statement If it is peaceful & business minded Igbos, your Oba will start giving ultimatums & threatning lagoon but now everybody is quite & begging for peace!!! Emancipate yourself from mental slavery & cowardice~~ Bob Marley but emphasis mine. 1000 thanks to you |

onatisi: When fayose raised this issue last week of buhari silence on Fulani killings in the nation, many yorubas called him all sort of names even olumiliwa called him a bastard for not respecting older people, well that was because it happened in benue state ,little did they know then that in less than a week the same thing too will happen in Lagos . See where hypocrisy has gotten us,we see the faults of this government but majority of Yoruba leaders and Obas refuse to talk all because most of them belong to the president party. Smh you just spoke my mind. |

Omeny: Yes! Let the useless Oba come and face his mates!
He's useless because he made himself one!
He threatened peace and law abiding pple with war and lagoon simply because of Elections and now, he's gone muted now that he has seen real war!
Maybe he's still in Saudi-Arabia though! Nonsense! the man dey fear for him house. nawa o so that man can fear like this? when it involves hausas killing yorubas people will be calling for peace but when its other tribes killing igbos they will say kill them all. I thank God I don't like Nigeria |

Dreadful: God bless you my brother. The earlier we go our separate ways the better for us. For over 100yrs we've been praying to God to save Nigeria and that prayer has never been answered and will NEVER be answered. Nigeria was created out of selfish interest of the British regardless of the people's cultures, values and tradition. Nigeria is a contraption and till Nigeria divides that will be when each region will embrace peace. Some people will not want this because of oil from the Eastern part of Nigeria but my question is what is the need of the oil that you see as the binding force when you still die out of religious conflicts? nice one |
Politics › Re: VP Osinbajo, Lai Mo'hamed And Their Deliberate Insult On Nigerians' Intelligence by jude90(m): 8:10am On Mar 03, 2016 |
Nigeria is on the precipice, and, the
election of President Buhari has
compounded issues in the country. To be
sincere, Buhari's election as the
president, like a thin edge of the wedge,
has put Nigeria on thin ice right now.
Buhari spread himself thin by asking
Nigerians to vote for him, when he
knows that he doesn't have the requisite
mental capability to rule a very complex
and troublesome country like Nigeria.
He has complained why he came to rule
at this time. President Jonathan had his
own faults, but, Nigeria shouldn't have
made a worse choice. Buhari has been
trying to cover his shortcomings through
bullying, but, his childish antics are fast
wearing thin, and at the same time, our
patience is wearing thin also. They say
that every cloud has a silver lining, but,
in Nigeria's situation, there's no hope or
sign of a better tomorrow on the
horizon. Things continue to get gloomier.
Goodluck Jonathan, as president, warned
Nigerians about the choice they will
make during the election, and his words
can be summed up as being prophetic.
This was one of his statements then:"the
choice before Nigerians in the forth
coming general election is simple: the
choice between going forward or going
backwards, the choice between the new
ways and the old ways, between freedom
and oppression, between a record visible
achievements and beneficial reforms-
and desperate power-seekers with empty
promises".
Who can contradict Goodluck Jonathan
now? Goodluck Jonathan failed in his
own way, but, make no mistake about it;
he was the best president ever, in terms
of achievement. We may crucify him on
corruption, because, that's what his
traducers want us to believe, but, his
wasn't the most corrupt regime ever in
Nigeria, and it has nothing to do with
who's at the helm, but, the flaws
inherent in the system makes corruption
to be Nigeria's famous citizen, and
there's nothing anybody can do about
corruption in Nigeria until the system,
that encourages it, is overhauled, and,
that will be only through the
restructuring of Nigeria. The best way to
start will be to implement the
recommendations of the constitutional
conference. Goodluck Jonathan failed
here: he should have utilized the
goodwill and support he had when he
took over in 2010, after the death of
Yar'Adua, to convene a constitutional
conference and to implement its
recommendations then, without waiting
until the end of his tenure to do that.
President Buhari has no plan to do the
necessary thing for now, but, as he is
clueless and helpless about Nigeria's
problem, he will have no other option, in
coming months or years, than to go back
to his spit, and will then implement the
recommendations of the 2014
constitutional conference. He can't
dodge it! |

Babacele: oh really? we know when a sincere concern is being expressed and when paid hate filled persons just wanna criticize in order to demonize and make a sincere administration look bad. You tell me , what my perception should be when youths n some persons open fake online sources daily spreading countless lies and promoting hatred just because their candidate was defeated n the president isn't their ' bloda'? The truth is that this administration is busy clearing the mess of the last regime ,and any wailing from yesterthieves and their cronies or agents can't b sincere n won't b taken seriuos cos the motive is evil. Is this admin working? Yes it is. 1. Boko haram is becoming extinct. 2. without any budget the country is running. 3. stealing is now corruption and public officers are being held accountable for their roles in certain national issues. 4. our soldiers are better n performing to satisfaction in ensuring security of lives n investments. 5. increased IGR due to PMB body language e.g customs has made n remitted about N900billion to d nation's coffer within 6 months. 6. independence of the judiciary and Inec 7. Transparency in government dealings etc so we shall only listen to sincere critisicms and not bad wishes. istandwithbuhari# sorry to you cus your case is serious, nobody can cure you |
