Can I get the content/format of the mail sent? Same for the webform. You can send as private message or send here. Thanks.

Just something in the line of “Your application has gone beyond the normal processing time & from the review of your gcms notes, everything looks good. Any chance they could finalize your application as you’re ready to travel. Then you can conclude by requesting a status of your app.

It’s the 2nd PPR on this profile!
AOR: April 30th, 2020
MED passed: August 26, 2020 (delay due to covid, had to submit my application initially without medicals)
Biometrics request: Aug 26
I requested my first gcms notes in August, then discovered my VO was accra, eligibility passed, security in progress, criminality not started.
Biometrics completed: Sep 21
Then the wait, I sent update requests to accra and cic bi weekly. Then last week I saw a couple ppr posts saying they sent ready to travel emails to accra, so I sent mine on Tuesday last week. Then woke up to my ppr email.

AVO: Accra

If you check this accounts previous posts you would see a ppr post from this account. Account belongs to my bf, he got ppr last year same accra vo same aor.

Thanks guys for all the help

This wouldn't apply to you cause you are already married. It's applies only to singles.

Spouse can sponsor you over. That's a different ball game that I really don't know the process.

I mean, I was single when I submitted my EE application which is still being processed, However, I’m married now, and my husband is a Canadian PR already. Do I still need to include him in my application?

Hint:
For the singles below 30 with MSc in the house, and planning to get married soon. Getting married after AOR, allows you add your spouse without your spouse sitting for IELTS or applying for WES.

What if said spouse is already a PR in Canada?

I did mine and submittedit w/o any form from CIC. That's why its called upfront medicals.

The remedical had been passed tey tey sef
So I know what I am saying.

N.B. This was done Feb this year. So since people can do upfront medicals now, they are good to go.

Lol. It’s called upfront if you had to do it before submitting your application, otherwise it’s not and you will need the form from IRCC before you can go for your medicals if you already submitted your application with a LOE because you couldn’t have the medicals done due to Covid.

No stress cheesy

Get your facts right before you advice people on here, or have a caveat on the accuracy of your information.

Not true.

Right, you have to wait for CIC to send you the IMM 1017E form before you can proceed for your medicals. I’m sure the hospitals won’t attend to you if they’re wlaware you already submitted your application

The seller has some explaining to do because they basically packaged and sold a used phone as new to you.

You’re right, the seller bought the phone from Best buy, the phone although isn’t locked to any particular carrier but locked to US reseller flex policy, hence can only be used in the us, so according to Apple, the Nigeria seller probably used a software to bypass the lock. So after Apple tried to reset my phone to factory settings, even my Nigerian sim could no longer work, so I was advised to either sell the phone to someone in the US or get a US sim to unlock the iPhone.

That device seems to be locked by the network carrier that sold the iPhone.

Did you buy that iPhone brand new? Are you using a chip with the sim? When you say "unlocked", do you mean you have an activation code from say, Tmobile or AT&T?

I bought is brand new from Nigeria. By unlocked I mean it’s not locked to any carrier because I had used a chatr sim on the same phone when I came to Canada earlier in the year for soft landing.

However, I paid for a 3rd party service to find out if the iphone was locked then I was told my phone is locked to US reseller Flex Policy

Hi, some phone products are meant for certain markets only and won't work outside that particular market eg Africa, Asia or Middle East. This applies to both Apple and Android products, some folks were not able to use their old phones in Canada and had to buy here.
One work-around you can try is to get a SIM from another carrier and maybe that might be compatible with your current phone. If this doesn't work then you'd have to consider getting a phone here. All the best.

Thanks. But I did my soft landing earlier in the year, and I got a Chatr sim which worked on the same iphone, only to return to Canada and both the Chatr sim and the new Rogers sim that I got seems not to be compatible with the iPhone, which is strange cos I had used a Canadian sim on the same phone earlier in the year.

Hello fam,

Please did anyone encounter this issue, where your iPhone from Nigeria does not accept a Canadian sim card but gives you the attached error message. Please note that my iPhone is unlocked. Please how did u resolve it?
