Whaoh! This is missed opportunity of a life time but more are coming if you believe. A lot of us are risk averse and we don't make enough sacrifice to invoke God's grace in our lives and business. But today, my wife will wake me up at 1.00 a.m. after I've slept at about 11.00 p.m the previous day to work. I funnily asked her one day, "Why are you waking me up at this time?" She said, "Because you're making money!"

If I didn't take that risk years back, I would have been leaving my account number on pages of Nairaland asking for cash stimulus or palliatives. We should follow our productive and progressive instincts and damn the consequences. After all, it's God that blesses and He will continue to bless us as we are doing something tangible for Him to bless.

Something just happened this weekend and I have to say it here so others can learn from it and maybe take fast action when necessary. Some years back, I used to work for a very big company with offices in Abuja, Lagos, PH and other Niger Delta and South East States. They make hundred of millions but pay their junior staff peanut so I had to resign. I left about four years ago but still kept in touch and I still have some directors direct contacts. This is a company some directors earn more than 2 million per month.

I know a bit about domaining, still learning tho but I remembered that company uses .com.ng for their website instead of dot com. I checked out their name in .com last month and it was available. I wrote down the name in my jotter to register so I can contact them. In fact, I always open my jotter and check the availability of the name everyday and it's always available but I kept saying to myself I will register you later. Funny enough I have registered more than 10 names since last month but each time, I will bypass the name, don't no why. I still bought 3 domains this week.

I just checked the name now but surprisingly it has been registered today. I quickly checked whois and behold my former MD was the one that registered it cos his phone number and address is there. If I had registered the name and acted like a broker and contact them telling them the disadvantages of allowing their competitors grab the name, even the MD's last son would release $2k without blinking an eye.

See me now hunger dey wire me for my foolishness, I no even get any money now na him make me want sell my phone self. Abeg, if you see this kind opportunity act fast and take the risk. You might be lucky you never know. Ciao

How do you guys always know your domain is live on Afternic apart from the message they normally send to inform you of your listing because mine are showing zero views, zero everything after more than a month? doubting if my domains are receiving the needed attention. What's the benefit of listing a domain on SH if it'll be listed under Basic Plus? The commissions are more than other options (Afternic, Dan, Epik) and the domain is not promoted like if it's listed as Premium. Also you have to point the nameservers to SH and can't list the domain with a lower price on other marketplaces.

What am I missing here?

I also need answers to the questions above... People on here don't talk about listing their domains on SEDO why please? Are they a bad market place?
