All being said, I think it is better to let God say son/daughter, you shouldn't have paid tithes, but not bad, go into your everlasting joy, while I deal with those ministers that forced you to pay tithes, than for God to say, while do you follow heresy, have you forgot that at the end of time, people will become lover of themselves, you haven't been obedient to MY commandments in that regard, therefore go to the place meant for disobedient ones.

MESSAGE:
Those who attempted to hide their sins or cover up their errors fail to realize that nothing can be hidden from God, the heavenly saints and even from God’s angels. A child of God who indulges in a hypocritical lifestyle is yet to be broken in spirit. Do you realize that God can expose the secret deeds of anybody He chooses to (Daniel 2:47)? If He has not revealed yours, it is not because you are smart, but because He is still giving you some time of grace to make amends. In the early Church, the secret conspiracy of a couple was revealed by the Holy Spirit, and this led to their death (Acts 5:1-11). No matter how deep that secret deed is buried, it can still be exposed at anytime.
In addition, a day is coming when everyone’s secret deeds will be made public before a staggering crowd of every person that has ever inhabited the earth all through the ages. This will happen at the Great White Throne Judgment, where everyone who ever lived on earth will be divinely summoned, and stand before the Almighty God to face their final judgment and thereafter receive their eternal sentence (Revelation 20:11-15). On that great and terrible day, the past will be harmonized with the present to determine the eternal future of everyone. Before the greatest screen, every life will be reviewed before everyone, and then comes the sentence. The only people who will not be judged at that universal judgment are those who were saved and washed in the Blood of Jesus, and who must have sustained their faith in Christ until they died or were raptured. On that day, these saints will be part of the judges who will sit over the rest of the people from all nations, color, tribe and tongues (1 Corinthians 6:2). On that day, would anyone still have a secret? No wonder Jesus said that there is nothing done in secret that shall not be exposed, and nothing said in private that shall not be broadcast from the mountain top. How prepared are you to face the judgment of God? How long will you continue to live in secret sin? Repent today and live in holiness and prepare for the Lord’s return.

KEY POINT:
Calling yourself a Christian (light) but living in secret sin (darkness) is a hypocritical life. Are you not tired of this?

Ladies and Gentlemen.
(The time it took the new National Chairman of the PDP to labour through this funny Nigerian protocol part of his speech and “recognize the presence” of these mediocre and non-excellent Excellencies at the convention, America had moved closer to sending a manned mission to Mars; Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and all the other oil economies in the region had moved closer to their dream of moving to a post-oil economy in the 2030s through innovation, human capital development and a greater control of the global knowledge economy; Germany had made improvements to the autobahn and road technology; China, Japan, India, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore had conquered new territories in science and technology; and the President of Ghana had told Emmanuel Macron of France how he intends to proceed henceforth on the path of dignity for his people. The political leaders of Nigeria have been wasting the time of their people and the rest of the world saluting each other, “recognizing the presence” of each other in this long-winding and indolent verbal format since 1960. Yet, their report card is a nation-space that Wole Soyinka describes as the “open sore of a continent”. Those who have things to do in the 21st century would have stopped at: “Your Excellecies, ladies and gentlemen”. Period. Nigeria’s political leadership is trapped in the 17th century and has no sense of urgency about anything, hence the nonsense above in Mr. Secondus’ speech.)
On behalf of members of the National Working Committee of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, I dedicate this mandate to the Almighty God who it has pleased to make this convention successful and grant us this opportunity to serve our great party. We give all glory to God and we commit PDP into his hands.
(I am a devout Catholic. I very nearly went to the seminary to become a Reverend Father. I do not know about other denominations in Nigerian Christendom, especially our folks in prosperity Pentecostalism, but the Christian God I grew up to know in the Roman Catholic Church in Nigeria would not touch anything dedicated to him by members of the political class of ANY PARTY in Nigeria with even the longest pole. You cannot dedicate corruption to God. Stolen funds by Governor Nyesom Wike and Senator Godswill Akpabio made your convention “successful”, not God. If your opponents in APC dedicate any of their own shenanigans and corruption to God, we shall also be here to remind them that God does not own “doty”. You people should carry your doty on your heads and leave God out of it.)
I stand before you this day, humbled by the mandate you just given to my colleagues and I to lead this great party at this time in Nigeria’s political history. We wholeheartedly accept it with extreme gratitude.
(That is your headache and the headache of PDP.)
Eighteen years ago specifically February 14, 1999, this party made history with its first ever national convention in Jos, Plateau State and since then, has grown to become undisputedly, the largest political party on the African continent. I recall that before that, precisely on the 19th of August, 1998, our founding fathers gathered here in Abuja to give birth to this party whose aims and objectives were patriotic, with lofty and visionary dreams.
(Mr. Secondus, you know, you are not the only Nigerian who was an adult in 1999 and followed your Jos convention very closely. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves that your 2017 convention was even shoddier and far more mediocre than your 1999 convention. Like all things Nigerian, the past is always better than the present because no lessons are ever learnt, no continuity, no improvement on past lapses, nothing. If there is any history you made in 1999, you started this practice of rejecting competence, intellectual solidity, and integrity for money and emptiness. In 1999, you rejected Alex Ekwueme and Phillip Asiodu, the two best brains your party had to offer. They had no money to bribe party leaders and buy delegates. This practice that you started in 1999 has infected every political party in Nigeria ever since – including the unchanging changers in APC.)
By my understanding, the mandate you have given us today is clear and unambiguous. It is to return our party to power come 2019. As Herculean as this mandate seems, I know it’s achievable. My campaign pillars for this election are ‘To Rebuild, Reposition and Regain’. Let me assure you great members and leaders of our party, that by the grace of God and with all hands on deck, the brief tenancy of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Aso Rock Villa expires on May 28, 2019. By this, we serve them a quit notice.
(Another Nigerian disease. You want to return to power! No Nigerian is ever serving “in office”. You are always “in power” or “on seat”. This is very telling. I need not belabor it because I have written tons about it. Even the incumbents also see themselves “in power” not “in office”, hence their arrogance and haughty disregard for citizens. Until we somehow repair the psychology of Nigeria’s political elite, they will continue the travesty of imagining themselves “in power” in a democracy.)
This has to be immediate, in order to save our beloved country from disintegration. We are all witnesses to how the unity of this country has been shaken to its very foundation under the watch of the rudderless and clueless APC. We therefore have a gigantic task of retrieving this country from APC’s clear lack of direction and confusion starting with the Presidency. In the words of the 34th President of the United States of America Dwight .D. Eisenhower, “If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power”.
(I agree with your assessment of APC but must note your remarkable blindness to the history of your own party. Don’t you know that confusion and lack of direction is the only thing that your party offered Nigeria for sixteen years? Why are you jealous of APC continuators of your legacy? No be una una? And which political party in Nigeria is not “merely a conspiracy to seize power”? Why do you think that Atiku Abubakar has been doing joro jara joro his entire political life? Is he not playing political kalo kalo to eventually find which conspiracy to seize power could eventually work for him?)
Judging from this, it is crystal clear to all Nigerians, that APC is not a political party, but a body hurriedly assembled to seize power without a clear cut plan for governance.

Our party on the other hand, was founded on ideals which are totally in tandem with those of the founding fathers of this great country. Those founding fathers had in mind, a prosperous and lasting democracy as captured in the preamble of our constitution clearly stating their desire for a free and egalitarian society. Even in our perceived failure of 2015, we chose to abide by our strong faith in democracy, willingly conceding power to opposition, thereby elevating the democratic status of Nigeria. We are the true democrats! I can therefore say without an iota of doubt, that PDP’s contributions to the growth and sustenance of democracy in this country in the last 18 years remain unequalled. The best way to celebrate the memories of these founding fathers, is to ensure that the ideals are continuously engaged.

No political party in Nigeria, no political group since 1999 deserves the honour of being filially traced to these remarkable Nigerians. You people will just sit down in Abuja and be embezzling Nigeria’s history in broad daylight.)
At this juncture great PDP leaders and members here present, let us stand and observe a minute silent for our fallen heroes one of whom is our pioneer National Chairman and former Vice President of this country Dr Alex Ifeanyichukwu Ekwueme GCON who passed on recently. With your mandate I assure you, that all necessary steps will be taken to avoid a repeat of our past mistakes. Indeed we have learnt our lessons and by this convention, we are now set to forge a new path for our great party and Nigeria. Under my watch, internal democracy will be strictly adhered to with a deliberate policy to return ‘real’ power to the people. No more imposition, no more impunity.
(Thank you for having the decency to honour Chief Alex Ekwueme. However, the “mistake” which you fail to name here is that your party rejected him and opted for corruption and money when he offered himself to serve. All he had was patriotism and intellectual wealth – it was not enough for you. Your route to the Chairmanship does not show that your party has learnt any lessons.)
Every member of this party can from this moment, consider him or herself, an equal shareholder in our common destiny. I call on all Nigerians, of all creed and class, to embrace this new PDP and join in this quest for a new Nigeria. Particularly, I reach out to our old members who for one reason or the other have left the party, to please come back ‘home’.

I cannot end this address without acknowledging my co-contestants especially for the chairmanship position. Truth be told, any one of you is eminently qualified to lead this party. I thank you for a worthy contest and being part of history as this marks the first time such a highly competitive contest to produce the leadership of a political party has been held in Nigeria. You have every cause to stand tall and I now extend my hand of fellowship to you all. Let ‘US’ Rebuild, Reposition & Regain. STANDING FAULTLESS BEFORE CHRIST

MESSAGE:
The Lord in Hosea 4:6 reveals that ignorance is one of the greatest factors that lead to the undoing of believers. What you attain in life may not go beyond what you know. What you know adds to you, but what you fail to know takes away from you. The Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 26:41 says,
“Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
From these words of the Master, we understand that there is a link between what you know and how effectively you pray. We also understand that there is a link between what you know and how you overcome temptations. The less you know about God, His ways and His words, the less inner strength you will have to overcome temptations. If you want to live a Christian life that manifests the victory that Christ has given us over Satan, sin, self and the pleasures of the world, you must be well versed in the Scriptures. You must study to show yourself approved before God (2 Timothy 2:15). To what extent do you know God?

This scripture tells us that although prayer is very important, it is however not enough. If you can pray very well but lack knowledge, many things can still go wrong. From the words of the Master in the scriptures, prayer must be effectively combined with knowledge to be able to escape the dangers of the last days. Do you know the signs of the times? Do you take time to monitor local, national and international events and reconcile these events with what God has said concerning them in His word? If you have knowledge and are prayerful, certain things that would take the world by surprise cannot catch you off guard. In fact, you will be the one alerting others to the implications of the events happening around you. In addition, it takes a combination of knowledge and prayers to be able to stand as a worthy vessel before the judgment seat of Christ. When you know what the Lord wants of you, how He wants you to do the work he has assigned to you, and the time He has appointed for you to do the work, it will be easy to do it and to stand faultless before His throne at last.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, please do all You need to do in me to present me faultless before Your throne.

Father, I know you reserve the best till the last, Lord give me your very best tonight.

Every lion in your life will die tonight, every bear will die tonight and every Goliath will lose his head. Amen
In the above bible verse, David gave 3 Categories of external enemies.
1. The Lion : represents someone who is superior to you in position and authority and want to use that superiority to choke life off you. Exodus 1:8-22. There are some people in authority who will want to choke life off you but thank God there is an anointing who will destroy them.
2. The Bear: The bear hug so as to crush someone to death . The bear represent to who pretend to love you but plan to kill you, Mathew 7:15, Judges 16:4-21. There is an anointing that can destroy the bear. Anyone pretending to be your friend but planning to kill you, the anointing of the Lord will destroy them tonight. There might be somebody very close to you either in your family, among your friends, in your church or office, whose plan is your destruction , there is an anointing coming on you tonight that will destroy them. Amen
3. Goliath: represent enemies who will say to you point blank that we know you are meant for the top but will see to it that you don't get there,1 Samuel 17:4-9. Everyone who says you will not reach your goal, in the name that is above every other name, they will lose their head. Amen. There is an anointing and that anointing comes from the Almighty God, it goes like fire. Incidentally, if you learn to sing praises to God, the devil cannot stand. If you ever come across any problem in the future after this congress, don't murmur, don't complain, Just sing to God. ( I know my redeemer liveth 3ce, He liveth for ever more)
If you only you will sing under the anointing tonight, the enemy will flee in Jesus name.
When I eat an anointed meal, it gives me strength for the journey ahead. 1 King 19:1-8.
After every major victory, the enemy can be trickish but let me assure you, nothing will take your victory. Amen
The holy communion is an extremely powerful meal, you don't eat it with unworthily (sin). If you eat it with sin, it can destroy you.

A SACRIFICE OF LOVE.

MEMORISE:

Psalm 142-150 & Haggai 1:1-11

MESSAGE:
If you have been washed in the precious blood of the lamb, thanking God for the salvation of your soul is something you need to do daily for the rest of your life. Some people throw parties to celebrate milestones and achievements in different areas of life, but Jesus said that what should give us the greatest joy is the fact that we are saved and have our names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life (Luke 10:20). That your name is in the Lamb’s Book of Life is a great testimony that you should regularly thank God for whenever you pray.
However, giving thanks to god is not always a very easy thing to do, particularly if you have been going through a spate of negative and very sad events or experiences. In such situations, thanking God requires sacrifice. Our God loves sacrifices- particularly a sacrifice of thanksgiving. No wonder the Psalmist says thus in Psalm 116:17
“I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord.”
When you offer thanksgiving to god at a time when every situation is your life is saying that He doesn’t deserve it or that He has forsaken you, it is sacrificial.
Similarly, your thanksgiving is sacrificial when you thank God even when he has not granted your request. This is an expression of faith. Sacrificial thanksgiving glorifies God and proves to Him that your faith is Christ has spiritual substance. Do you know that most people remember to thank God only when they believe He has “earned it’? Such people live by a personal philosophy which says “whenever God does something for me, only then will I give Him thanks in return.” Such an attitude is simply calculative and myopic. There are so many things God does for us every day which we take for granted as normal everyday occurrence, but the truth is, nothing is ever really “normal”, and every day comes with its challenges. Those who give God a sacrifice of thanksgiving do so because they choose to. They choose to see things from God’s perspective, which makes them see reasons why they ought to be grateful to God, even when other people cannot see any reason why.

ACTION POINT:
Apply the lessons learnt in today’s study to offer God a sacrificial thanksgiving today.

There is an elder in the church of God called Elder Jacob, who works in a reputable company.  Coincidentally one of the members of his church is also working in the same organisation. Elder Jacob, being a lover of ladies, called Bola, his church member, one day that they have to embark on an official assignment. Being her superior,  Bola obliged. As they were going in the car of Elder Jacob, he drove to his house instead with the excuse that he has to pick some documents along. He kindly asked Bola to enter his house and make herself comfortable. It was at this point that Elder Jacob declared that there's no official assignment meant for them at that moment,  but he just wanted to stay alone with her because he loves her and he will want to enjoy her . Bola was perplexed, but being a real born - again Christian,  she summoned courage and asked Elder Jacob two questions. Sir, you are an elder in the church and do mount the pulpit, is what you are about to do pleases God. Elder Jacob simply told her to for the issue of Elder,  and that at that moment he is just Mr. Jacob and not elder Jacob.
Elder Jacob quickly took Bola to one of the rooms to have fun, but Bola refused to enter with the excuse that it's not conducive for such act. This is what repeated itself until he took her to the last room, it's at this point that Bola asked the Elder the second question, if he has any other room left where they can carry out the act so that the Eyes of the Lord will not be able to see them. It's at this point that Elder Jacob got stuck and dejected for his behaviour.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, what are we doing that we think nobody is seeing us, I want to us to know that the Eyes of the Lord are in every place looking at the good and the bad. He shall surely reward each accordingly. .....so watch what you do.

Are you the type that mock, kill, reproach or decimate your friends at their absence,  but laugh with them when they are around?...... God is watching you.........repent.

Are you the type that have your own wife/husband, but still have concubines outside?.....God is watching. ...repent

Are you the type that go about defrauding people under any pretense? God is watching you........repent.

Are you the type that profess love to many ladies/guys at the same time while you have already known the one to take to the alter? God is watching you.....repent.

Are you the type that hide under fake moniker to get at the innocent ones for negative reason? God is watching you....repent.

Brethren,  in conclusion, in all our doings, let us be conscious that the Eyes of the Lord are watching us. Today is the day of Salvation, let's repent from all the evil ways and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal Saviour. He cares, loves and watches over us.

INVITATION TO GREATER WORKS.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Psalm 135-141 & Zephaniah 3:9-20

MESSAGE:
On one of their journeys by sea, the disciples saw Jesus walking towards them on water. Astonished to see this wonder, Peter asked the lord Jesus Christ if he could join Him, and the Lord invited him to come. Peter’s fellow disciples watched in amazement as he walked towards Jesus on the water. If only they too had responded to the Lord’s invitation, they would have partaken of this awesome experience, but they were not courageous enough to step out. Nevertheless, that invitation to do the impossible was not limited to them. It is still open to you and me today. In John 14:12, Jesus said,
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”
Beloved, the call to do the works of Jesus and even perform greater works than He did is a call to do the impossible. To be able to do this, you must be prepared to believe in Jesus Christ with all your heart, leaving no space for doubt. Do you believe in Him? Why then do you still leave room for doubt? Don’t you know that the Lord never fails?
Furthermore, Jesus invites us to follow Him. John 8:12 says,
“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
As the Light, if you follow Jesus, you will not walk in darkness, and neither will you stumble. Also, if you follow Him, He will make something great out of your life. He will make you what you never dreamt you could become. Consider a person like Peter: he would have died an unknown fisherman if he had not accepted Christ’s invitation to follow Him (Matthew 4:18-19). Have you accepted that invitation to follow Jesus? Today, some people give various excuses for not following Him. One of such excuses is that they do not want to be disturbed or distracted from their life’s goal or ambition, failing to realize that if only they accepted the Lord’s invitation, they would have had a greater future and they would have enjoyed His backing in all their life’s endeavors. Have you heeded his invitation?

KEY POINT:
The call to follow Jesus is a call to true discipleship. Are you His disciple?

INVITATION TO GREATER WORKS.

MESSAGE:
On one of their journeys by sea, the disciples saw Jesus walking towards them on water. Astonished to see this wonder, Peter asked the lord Jesus Christ if he could join Him, and the Lord invited him to come. Peter’s fellow disciples watched in amazement as he walked towards Jesus on the water. If only they too had responded to the Lord’s invitation, they would have partaken of this awesome experience, but they were not courageous enough to step out. Nevertheless, that invitation to do the impossible was not limited to them. It is still open to you and me today. In John 14:12, Jesus said,
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”
Beloved, the call to do the works of Jesus and even perform greater works than He did is a call to do the impossible. To be able to do this, you must be prepared to believe in Jesus Christ with all your heart, leaving no space for doubt. Do you believe in Him? Why then do you still leave room for doubt? Don’t you know that the Lord never fails?
Furthermore, Jesus invites us to follow Him. John 8:12 says,
“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
As the Light, if you follow Jesus, you will not walk in darkness, and neither will you stumble. Also, if you follow Him, He will make something great out of your life. He will make you what you never dreamt you could become. Consider a person like Peter: he would have died an unknown fisherman if he had not accepted Christ’s invitation to follow Him (Matthew 4:18-19). Have you accepted that invitation to follow Jesus? Today, some people give various excuses for not following Him. One of such excuses is that they do not want to be disturbed or distracted from their life’s goal or ambition, failing to realize that if only they accepted the Lord’s invitation, they would have had a greater future and they would have enjoyed His backing in all their life’s endeavors. Have you heeded his invitation?

KEY POINT:
The call to follow Jesus is a call to true discipleship. Are you His disciple?

Since the ancient days when the Yoruba people began their historical challenges on the plains and the hills of Ile-Ife, we have always been defined by our instinctive integrity, our methodical industry, our consistent loyalty and our steadfastness in protecting and defending the truth.
It is in all these characterization that I have personally lived my life. It is in all these summative portraits that I have pursued my personal and political engagements, strengthened in the resolve that truth, sincerity of purpose, fearlessness, equity, ethical balance are the basic ingredients of a purposeful life.
I have gone through many travails in my life. I have climbed the highest hills. and I have been through the lowest valleys. But in all, I have been guided by the holiest of heart's affection, the genuine and the utmost surrender to the will of the Lord.
But I have never been afraid of a good fight. I have never disengaged from a meaningful challenge. I have always committed myself to any struggle with absolute dedication and unflinching, resolute vision.
It is in this spirit and clarity of selfless engagement that I decided to run for the National Chairmanship position of our great party. I did not enter the contest for any personal benefits. I did not throw myself into the fray because of some pecuniary benefits.
I have come to serve.
I have come come to offer myself because I believe in the greater glory of our party and in the growth and development of our nation. I have served continuously for ten years in various high level positions in our party administration, including the second highest echelon of Deputy National Chairman.
With all sense of humility, I can say that I know the workings and all the administrative processes and the tools of making our party work.
That shattering and very divisive crises of the last two years have made our party very vulnerable, weak and basically tottering on the edges of the cliff.
Less than one year before the next general election, our party must now elect new managers to direct our affairs. The foremost of these new managers is the position of the National Chairman.
In this highly challenging scenario, the party naturally needs an experienced, trusted, proven, reliable and astute administrator who can guide our party to the land of redemption and the land of triumphant rebound.
It is in this vein that I have offered my humble service to lead our party.
But more importantly, I have entered the contest on the fundamental predication of the micro zoning principle as laid down by our founding fathers.
The zoning principle which was publicly reinforced last year in Port Harcourt had specifically and rightly affirmed the South-West as the zone to produce the National Chairman. This binding proclamation was based on equity, fairness and natural balance that hold any organization together.
But this old, legitimate and morally sound micro zoning principle has now been trashed, dumped in the waste bin, flung into the gutter by very little men who have compromised the pivotal moral anchor of civilized engagement for temporary selfish gains.
Everywhere you look, the Yoruba people are now being brazenly insulted. The very traditional fiber of our founding fathers are now being trampled upon, debased and soiled by external forces and mercenary traitors within.
It appears the PDP is now bent on self destruction. It has obviously allowed money moguls to dictate its thematic largeness. The party has lost its soul. It has lost its principled beginning and the predications of righteousness. It has traded the finer principles of democratic guidance and equity for the squalid, dirty and shameful resort to mercenary agenda where nothing matters save the putrid, oafish gains of the moment.
I cannot be part of this screaming aberration. And as the Atona of Yoruba land, I do not expect any well meaning, well disciplined, forthright, sincere Omoluabi of Yoruba land to continue with this deceit and shameful theater.
The Peoples Democratic Party has now mangled and distorted its soul and spirit. There is no morality here anymore. There is no sanity or any sense of enlightened civility.
As a result of these observed aberrations wherein the position of the National Chairman has been apparently sold and auctioned to the highest bidder, I as an Omoluabi and as an authentic Atona of Yoruba land, I will not partake in this charade.
I hereby withdraw from this brazen fraud and absolutely preconceived, monetized, mercantilist convention.
The Yoruba people have been openly maligned. The Yoruba have been savaged, tormented, treated with contempt, scurried, scoffed at, humiliated and denigrated by little men whose sun will soon set.
As a Yoruba patriot and the pathfinder of Yoruba land, I will stand by our people, I will stay with them thick or thin, I will fight for their good cause without compromising any ethics.
The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike must as a matter of priority and ethical importance tender unreserved apology to the people of Yoruba land for his unguarded utterances on national television this morning. It was a show of shame.

Two important words in the phrase: Songs of Victory; Song and Victory

Song
The original plan of God for man is to sing praises of Him and all things are created to give Him pleasure - Revelation 4:11, Isaiah 55:12
According to Genesis 1:31, God praised Himself when there was no one to do so, He said everything He created is very good.

Victory
Victory means to win, to overcome in a contest or war but there is no question of drawn game in war (you either win or lose, victor or victim).
As a child of God, you have a determined enemy; he wants to kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10) . He is well organised and has an army that is also well organised - Ephesians 6:22
You have a determined ally as a child of God who is far superior to satan; He is the Lord of host even satan has to take permission from Him before he can operate - Psalm 24:7-10

Techniques of the Adversary (the Devil)
1. When the devil wants to attack, the time he loves to attack is when you are celebrating because you are relax - I Samuel 18:5-11, Joshua 7, II Kings 2:9-24
Whenever you have a celebration, keep on praying.
2. When the devil wants to attack directly, he does it massively - Exodus 14:5-28, II Chronicles 20:1-25, Isaiah 59:19
3. At times, the devil does not attack directly but in a subtle way (in manner that is difficult for you to fight) - Ephesians 6:11
In the case of David, the devil couldn't fight him directly but he had to use wisdom - I Samuel 24:1-6; 25:1-11
4. When the devil wants to fight at times, he uses combination of forces (internal enemies plus external enemies) - Matthew 10:36, Judges 15:1-19
The anointing of the Almighty can disappoint/frustrate the internal enemies and destroy/kill the external enemies.
5. One of the most sinister methods of the devil is, when the first four methods above fails, he tries to turn God against you, making your ally to become your enemy by encouraging you to sin - Numbers 23:1-23; 25:1-9

The Final Victory
The last enemy to be destroyed is death; your victory is not complete until you make it to Heaven - II Timothy 4:7-8,
There is assembly of the overcomers before the throne of God singing the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb - Revelation 15:2-3
Our victory is absolutely total when we make it to Heaven.
The most important victory of all is to finish well.
When you finish well in Christ, you will become Undefeated Champion.

Prophecy: The Almighty God says your greatness is about to begin.

Father, whatever prayer I pray here today, before the sun rises, let it become a testimony.
When you are coming tomorrow, it will be a good idea if you can come with three white handkerchiefs. God is set to do something He has never done before.
Tonight, we will be talking about victorious prayers. When we were younger, there is a song we use to sing;
I wont let go 2ce, I have Jesus, I won't let go.
Its a song of determination.
Before you leave this place tonight, you will testify.
Text: 1 Kings 8:36-39
As we pray tonight, the fire of God will fall
The guarantee that God will answer our prayers is based or rooted in constancy. Heb 3:8. God does not change. If we meet His conditions , He will surely answer our prayers Mathew 7:7-8. If you ask, you will receive, anyone who seek, you will find anyone who knocks, the door will be open. In other words, if you don't ask, you wont get, if you don't seek, you wont find and if you don't knock, the door wont be opened onto you, James 4:4. When you ask amiss, He will not answer. Isaiah 55:6, Knock and the door shall be opened unto you, provided you know how to do the knocking and how to answer the fellow at the other end Psalm 24:7-10. When you meet the condition, you know how to ask so that you don't ask amiss, you know how to seek and you know how to knock, the door will be open unto you.

How do I seek, how do I know He is near, I don't have to look for God if I praise Him, worship Him, He Himself will find me John 4:23-24. Begin an attitude of worshipping Him first so that He can draw near you.
How do I knock correctly
The best way to knock at the door is to knock at the door Himself (Jesus)
10 reasons why I am sure God will answer your prayers tonight.
1. Come to Him as a child of God. Be sure that you know that you know that you are a child of God, Psalm 65:2, Isaiah 59:1-2. Come to Him washed in the blood of the lamb.
2. He does not lie, Numbers 23:19, Jeremiah 33:3
3. He has answered by fire before and because He does not change, He will answer by fire again, 1 Kings 18:33-39, Malachi 3:6, 2 Kings 9:1-12. If He has ever answered prayer before, He will answer again
4. There is no request coming from you that God will say, this is too hard. Jeremiah 32:27, Luke 1:37, Joshua 10:12-13. No matter how hard what you ask for, He will grant your request
5. There are no requests of yours that will be regarded as too many. Genesis 17:1, Ephesians 3:20. It doesn't matter how many things you ask God for, He has more than enough. Even if God does not have, He will create it. 2 Chronicles 1:6-12.
There is somebody here tonight, God is going to visit you and He will ask you, is that all. Amen
6. My request cannot be considered too late. You cannot go to God and here Him say, it is too late. John 11:20-44. You can't ask anything too late from the one who is Alfa & Omega.
There is somebody here tonight, even the miracle you have already lost, God is going to back date the miracle
7. It does not depend on you at all, it depend on God because He is good. Psalm 107:1, Psalm 121:1-2. He is able to help and He is willing to help, Isaiah 41:10-13. I want to guarantee you tonight, if you stop running to man, your testimony will be faster.
The one God will send to help you, the one God said should help and refuse to help you, will refuse to sleep tonight. Amen
8. He is not just good, He is merciful. Psalm 107:1, Ephesians 2:4. When God want to display His wealth, He display His mercy. Mark 10:46-52, Luke 17:12-19. Lord have mercy on me
9. If you refuse to let Him rest, He will grant your request. When He said ask, it didn't tell you the time it will elapse. Many of us have lost our miracle, because we don't persist, we relax. John 16:24, 1 Thess 5:17, Genesis 32:24-29. I have discovered the reason many of us pray shallow prayers is because the matter is not serious enough. You stop praying only because there is another way out, you have plan B but when you don't have another plan, you will pray your way out. It might be just one shout that your help will come. You must hold onto God never to let Him go for Him to answer you. Don't let anybody tell you that your own is too difficult for God.
10. God knows that if He does something new in your life, at least you will sing a new song. Exodus 14:21-28, Exodus 15:1-11.
Am standing on the promises of my father in heaven, all the problems you are facing or seeing, by the time the sun rises tomorrow, you will see them no more and you will sing a song of victory. Amen
If you are going to come to God at all, you must come to Him as a true child of God. You must surrender your life to Jesus for your prayers to be answers tonight. Sin is the only thing that can state d between you and the answers to your prayers.

STOP THE PRETENCE!

MESSAGE:
Salvation through Christ is such a great experience, but the devil in his characteristic manner has introduced counterfeits into people’s lives. The consequence of processing a counterfeit salvation experience is a life of pretense. To guard against this wile of the devil, the holy spirit in 1 timothy 1:5, admonishes us thus:
“Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:”
While God wants us to show love to all, he equally cares about the source of this love. The source of a thing goes a long way in determining its quality and value. You cannot bring something good out of an evil heart. If you do, that good thing is already tainted. For instance, even though you see lots of food in a dunghill, you will not go to eat from there. God is therefore saying that you should do away with pretense and hypocrisy, because they taint whatever good works you are doing. He is saying that if you will show Him love, make sacrifices for His sake, or give to his cause, such actions must come out of a pure heart, with a good conscience and done with sincerity; otherwise, the doer of these works may not get any reward.
Are you saved? Is your salvation genuine or false? 2 Corinthians 5:17 says if you are saved, old things are passed away. This means that if you were stealing before, after experiencing salvation, you will stop stealing. You cannot continue to stealing and still lay claim to salvation. While my father-in-the-lord was alive, if you claimed to be saved, he would ask you these questions: “what were you saved from? What were you doing before that you no longer do now?” today, people claim they are saved, and yet they still steal, lie or fornicate. What kind of salvation is that? In one of my missionary trips outside Nigeria, a man came to me and said, “Sir, I heard that you are a prophet of God and that your prophesies are deadly accurate.” “Is that so?” I replied and further added, ‘I am not a prophet but a pastor, but I do hear from God once in a while.” He then asked me to tell him his future. I asked him if he was born again and washed in the blood of Jesus Christ, and His response was “No”. So I said to him, “Your future will be terrible.” Alarmed, he said, “How do you know? You don’t even know my name, and you have not even prayed!” I told him there was no need for that because Isaiah 3:11 says “Woe to the wicked!” on the other hand, if you are saved, your tomorrow will be alright. Are you saved? Did you genuinely give your life to Jesus Christ on a particular day? If not, do it today!

KEY POINT:
The afterlife has no room for pretense. It’s all about reality and truth.

What is grace? Grace is Gods character, Gods good will to us, God being kind to us. Grace is something you receive that you don't merit, Grace is God extended help to us. The new testament start with grace, John 4:14-16. Where there is faith, there must be grace. Grace and faith work together. By grace you are saved through faith. Grace operate through faith. Grace gives you access to what God has. Grace provides and faith receives.
How do we get Grace
Even if you don't ask for grace, God will provide grace but you have to develop the faith.
Galatians 3:1-9
Grace and faith enables to receive the spirit, enable us to receive the miracle of God. God's grace can be frustrated or eliminated. God's mission of bringing grace is to fulfil the law.
Jesus in comparing the law and grace, grace has the highest standard. The law will only identify sin when it is committed but Grace identify sin when it is taught in the heart and does not lowered the standard of God.
Few things that hinder the grace of God
1. A proud spirit;
2. God's grace can be hindered in an atmosphere of insensitivity,
3. God's grace can be hindered in an atmosphere of bitterness
God's grace is always enough.
