I believe some soliciting for help are real & shouldn't be discouraged to save some lives whereas many are fraudulent. I suggest there should be a way of screening them to ascertain those who really need help and discard those of the lazy beings. My opinion.

Man's want is insatiable. Jumpingchicken, you quite know you are not being scammed, forced or whatever. You believe it brings a bad name to a forum like this, Forum you did not create. I'm really ashamed of you to be frank. If you don't have anything better to say, shut up!
If people mention names of people they want money or assistance from, that's when I, personally, will see it as an issue.
Even on Facebook, people ask for money. It's something that is inevitable. There are people who have gotten help from there, so leave them alone.
My question to you, now , is : if you find people who beg as a problem , what will say about people Who scam people of their hard earned cash.

We've known eachother for abt a year now, and I've made my feelings known to her on several cases,(the way I know best), to which her usual response would be ''hmm''. I've never been really bothered about her response, since to an extent, greater part of the fault rests on me not standing up to the standard Nigerians have built for themselves in terms of relationships.
Last night, I received a surprising message from her which read 'hi' as if to reaffirm that she sent the message intentionally, another message flew in ''gud pm''. The content of the message have no element of surprise, its the timing that had me wondering. She never initiates a conversation between us except in situations where I might have left her alone without any form of communication that she would manage to send messages like ''so this is the kind of person u are, and later u would say you care''. So receiving those messages sent a signal to my mind; she is either in need of sth or she has changed for the better(and judging from d recent trends, change was no where visible).
So, I flowed with the tide she had created and finally the message came.
Bose: pls can I ask you for a favour?
In my mind I was like ''if this girl is thinking of asking me money, then she is sitting on a long bench'', but I was determined to know what was on her mind.
Me: Yes, pray tell.
Bose: could u wake me up by 5am?
Me: do u want me to develop wings and fly to your room by that time of the day?
Bose: no na, jst call me.
Me: aiit but am not promising anything.
The conversation went on and with time she fell asleep, I was in a group chat section till about 11pm and with the level of health my body was operating, there was no way I would be able to wake up before 5am not even with the loudest alarm. So I reached a decision and from where the strength to engage in such a task came from I don't know. My eyes visited the wallclock on regular basis, until it was about 10mins to the time...I finally called her, now am wondering is its an act of (true) love or self inflicted punishment, staying awake all night just to call her early in the morning, and ended up not having enough strength to go to work.

There's this girl who has been my very close friend for the past two years (I spoke about her in one other thread I opened up sometime ago). While I've been in other relationships, she's stuck around with me and vice versa. I make her happy in many ways and so does she.

I never had any intention of dating her. Sometime in February (while I was In my last relationship) she told me she loved me and I told her never to speak of it again because obviously I didnt feel the same way about her and I didnt want to tell her that outrightly.

Now to the bane of this tale. Ive been single for the past 4 months and so has she. We've been there for each other but not dating though. Last month she went for a beach party and met this other guy who happens to be friends with my close friends too.

Unfortunately I started having feelings for this girl this past month too (I didnt know about this new guy). I told her how I felt about her and she asked me why I was just telling her, that "its too late. Im sorry". Now I have put that thought out of my mind.

This weekend me and her had a huge fight (for other reasons) and out of anger she told me she was already "dating this guy", "I can go and die" etc etc. We made up yesterday and I asked her why she didnt tell me sooner, she said it was because she didnt want to hurt me.

Now I'm sad and heartbroken, not because she's dating this guy but because I found out during a fight.

I dont want to be in a relationship with her or anyone for that matter. But I still need her in my life because talking to her makes me happy and vice versa too.

Can the great and ever lenient minds of Nairaland tell me what to do? You fit yab me oo. Its still love.

Some people doesn't even know the true meaning of love, I know its very hard to forgive a cheating partner but that's when love comes in. We're all humans, none is beyond temptation or below it. It can happen in any situations and a lot of things might trigger it.

Now let me give you an example of a lovely couple I had the chance of knowing, while trying to sort out my relationship problem I went to him for advise. What he asked me was, why are you truly in this relationship? What do you understand by forgiveness?

He told me a story about how when he was dating his wife, she cheated twice but he forgave her and helped her put an end to it. He said, he would have left her but for the sake of LOVE and what he saw in her far out weight any flaws. People called him stupid and foolish, but he never weaver. And today, he's the happiest man on earth because he's very happy with his 10 year marriage.
He said to me, you dont make love, you create it.

He said if he had left his wife, she would have lost herself and wouldn't have been the kind of woman she is today. When I see both of them, I see the meaning of the word love. Indeed, you can create love.

I left him feeling filled with wisdom, and I wanna take his advise seriously and apply it in my life. What I'm trying to say to whomever that is reading this, if your spouse cheated on you and is truly repentant, you should take them back. Love can do the impossible, I so much believe in that.

Marriage is not made up of two perfect creatures, NO! It is two imperfect creatures that makes it perfect. If your spouse is lacking behind, you can help them be a better person. Cheating is bad, I'm not supporting it but for those that are TRULY REPENTANT forgive. Afterall, God still cares for us upon all sins.

if your friends calls you fool and foolish cos you're thinking of taking that poor girl that has been begging for forgiveness, you are the one that is a fool. Cos you are not man enough to be a man of your own self.
