These statistics say a lot about northern Nigeria and the general misconceptions about them. 1. The north has a very high population rate contrary to what most people think. 2. Inspite of the large population of kids roaming the streets, the North still has more schools than the south even with the same ratio of teachers to pupils. 3. If these stats are correct, then it is safe to assume that the population of the North is even higher than ascribed to it. 4. Even if these figures are inaccurate, the margin of error should still be low. 5. Think twice before u scream the usual it is goats and cows that vote in the north. 6. Lastly, to those who will scream that Muslims generally do not attend school (this may or may not be true), please be informed that there are several Christian states in the north (assuming the percentage of xtians ins skuls is higher). Plateau, Taraba, Benue are xtian states with many of the other states also boasting a hight population of xtians. When next you make those ugly noises remember dat your millions of relatives in the North also skul there. cheers. |

Bisjosh: This isn't fair to the other poor muslim/northerners that are been forced to marry at 11-13.
Life is really for the Rich in the north Abeg stop the misinformation. Nobody forces anybody to marry at an early age in the core North! You can marry at any age you please so long as you dnt decide to marry at a late age (not more dan about 22-25 for females and 30 for males). It is not every thing dat must be blamed on leaders. Marriageable age in the north is influenced by both Northern indegenous cultures and the Islamic religion. |

wirinet: If Pep Guardiola suddenly becomes coach of sunderland, it is possible Guardiola comes with Messis, Ronaldos, Xavis, Iniestas and the rest, will that mean all previous successes (and failures) of Barcelona under Guardiola will be awarded to sunderland? Whats your point? PMB came back to rule Nigeria with the same set of old players who could not achieve success. What makes you think PMB can achieve success with them? Mamman Daura, Atiku Abubakar, Ghali Na'aba, Kachikwu Ibe and Emefiele were all involved in the CBN scam. Are there your idea of a change? Have you been sleeping? Where is the new players pmb signed? Saraki? Tinubu? |
Politics › Re: "How APC Destroyed Nigeria For 16 Years" by Junior66(m): 10:17am On Mar 25, 2016 |
wirinet: OP's assertions are ridiculous. If Pep Gardiola moves over to mancity and comes with some Bayern Munich players, then Bayern's achievements becomes mancity's and the champion league trophy that was won by Bayern a few seasons ago be handed over to mancity. Na your own assertions ridiculous pass. Using your own example, if Pep Guaduola suddenly becomes the coach of Sunderland all Sunderland players will now become Messis, Ronaldos, Xavis, Iniestas and the rest? Will they suddenly start winning the champion's league and premier league with the same set of players? The only thing that changed is the leadership, the players are still the same. Take a look at the politicians in APC, how many of them are you truelly proud of? Are you proud of Saraki, Atiku, Tinubu, Amaechi etc etc? Abeg no provoke us o. Even if we ni get job, our wisdom is still intact. |

Lagaritha: She wasn't battered, she was flogged and the mark on her body is that of cane. And what do you expect to be done to a pupil who is strong-headed? Sing cumbaya for her?
She slapped a head-girl who represent the authority of the school among the students. That was too forward of her. The punishment was very appropriate for her.
You shouldn't allow yourself to think that all the teachers will slap her just because they love to slap her. She must be a heady girl and must have been notorious.
In my school days, you don't try such, you don't talk back at your prefect let alone slapping back. The prefects had the power to punish their fellow students. And this maintained a level of discipline aog the students.
She wasn't battered, she was disciplined, believe me, the the cane marks will go away in a few days. The cane was made for her type. it will even go away in a few hours. we have all had this kind of marks on our bodies before. |

simpleseyi: Dear, Inusa how are you? I hope you are fine and all is well with you? Please don’t be annoyed by these words but I think it is best for the both of us. Please please please don’t be annoyed I beg of you Inusa, maybe everyone just have to say the truth. I want to start by saying thank you for everything if accepted, thank you yanzu, I would say I now know what is going on which you never wanted to tell me but I will say that is not fair. When I started selling here, I met Abubakar who once told me that he had fellings for me but I can never send because I did not have fellings for him, so I turned him down. Then again I met Genedu and I also turned him down. Now, it is Dantata which everybody knows that he loves me dearly but I find a lot of faults in him and don’t love him back. He has done his best to stay down and beg about one year now, if I am right, I will never lie to you Inusa. Dantata has been begging me to love him back but as soon as I wanted to fall for him you came back into my life. I still know that Dantata is still waiting for me only if I will accept him. Inusa I now know that you also love me and I have decided to love you back. I love you Inusa but sometimes I do think Dantata is still seeking. My name as know by myself is RITA and my main problem is that if I love you (Inusa) and you also love me what will become of us. You once told me you like me more than anyone else, but now I have seen how far you have gone in this case because it is very serious to me. You asked me to help you in just three ways in which you said: Follow me to my village – Kano State Leave your religion for mine – Christian & Muslim It is only you I love and no other person I have already accepted the first quest then while decide to tell me that you cannot take me along with you the same day it is very unfair. Inusa why, just tell me why you decide to be unfair. Well Inusa there were many other Hausa boys who asked for friendship but did not get it. I had so many people who I have lived with do you know what it means to live the people you had lived with for 13 good years of life. Think on me Inusa please I beg of you Inusa please Think on me My heart bit immediately or anytime I see you if you know how much I love you you will not think about hurting my fellings I still stand by you Inusa, yeallo yellow my best colour but one question who made you think. I write this because I am sick and tired of this baldadash I hear everyday. You should know this Genedu, Abubakar, Saidu are humans for crying out loud. Inusa to conclude this, taught you can solve this problem by just one thing. Your address and your phone number, maybe if we have to go one by one we shall do just that. No matter what happens I still love you Inusa No matter what the case may be I still love you Inusa From yours dearly Rita a.k.a Ese
