you are the person that is confused here because it seems you have not been following Book Haram closely. BH has two factions, one led by Albanawi and the other lead by Shekau. The Albanawi faction is a diplomatic group,opposed to the kind of violence perpetrated by the Shekau group. in fact the group broke off because they believed Shekau is wrong for attacking mosques and fellow Muslims coupled with excessive use of violence. the Albanawi group has always been open to negotiations with the federal government and they believe more in dawah/preaching to concert people rather than forcing them. And it may interest you to know that both groups are mortal enemies and have been fighting each other for some time now. Albanawi will gladly kill Shekau if he can get hold of him.

Bros forget that place, na my village settlement be that. The funds to build that road can build a federal road from Lagos to Abuja. It is the worst road in Kogi state as far as i know. You will even hear Okada people boasting to themselves that "if you claim to be a good okada rider come let's go to Oganenigu road". Repairing that our village road to standard is unfortunately not worth it at the moment due to cost.

If I want to rate this governor based on what I read on Nairaland and on media, he is likely a disappointment but yet except someone that resides in Kogi gives an accurate information, I wouldn't make assumptions.

Its like your name na Thomas. Take it from me a resident of Kogi, GYB is a total failure. Our state Uni is almost dead because he sacked a large percentage of our lecturers and ASUU has sanctioned the school. Pg students cannot graduate despite spending 4 years for masters degree because external examiners won't come. Thuggery is back to Kogi, no infrastructure since this govt came etc etc.
