Taller girls are exotic!!
Trust me I dated 2 taller girls in the past.
For discretion purposes, I won't post their Pictures.
One was 6ft3,,,the other was an inch or three taller than that.
But here's the tricky part.... YOU!
Now lemme make an analogy that some might not actually gbadu.
The way u relate with a Terrier/Poodle is not the same way you relate with a Great Dane/Mastiff/Giant Rottweiler.
You dig?
It feels special trust me...(save little disagreements between you two every now and then) |
Romance › Re: Five Reasons Why Guys Should Quit Complaining About Being Friendzoned by Junipero: 1:30am On Dec 02, 2014 |
and when she starts 'winsh-ing/c*ck-blocking' the guy nko? As much as you wrote well, I would hint that you were not so neutral there.. There's this popular trend.. Girl 'isn't into the guy'. The guy painfully picks up and seeks elsewhere. Elsewhere starts clicking well. The old girl comes and ruins it all (Pls don't say it's unintentional) MzNelly: Yes, yes, the all-too familiar topic...
For the few majority who have no idea what 'Friend-zoning' implies, let me paint you a picture:
Boy meets Girl, Boy Likes Girl, Boy Asks Girl Out, Girl says: "I'm sorry, but we can ONLY be friends". Boy whines about being 'Friendzoned'.
Typical eh?
Here are 5 reasons why men should suck it up and quit whining:
1. She Has a Type And You're Not it. Yes. You may be the most caring person you've ever known-nice, sweet and gentle(good for you!), however the fact remains that the heart wants what the heart wants. I see guys complain about this but have you ever really stopped to wonder what the girl in question is interested in.....
2. She can't control Her Feelings. This goes without saying. Don't trivialize her feelings by claiming you've been friendzoned. Don't expect her to hook up with you because you talk to her on Facebook late at night. Don't expect her to feel the same way you do just because you've been nice to her. That's prossstitution and that makes you a douche.
3. She's Been Hurt too. Only guys sit down and make up a name of something that is actually...pretty normal. I've been hurt as well, i've liked people who didn't feel the same way. So? Would i sit and lick my wounds or move on? The same applies to the so-called 'Nice Guys' out there. Be a man about it and move on.
4. The Friendzone is an Excuse. It's an excuse for when a guy likes a girl but the girl doesn't like him right back. It's a sense of entitlement. It's the idea that just because a guy gives a girl his time or affection, she's in the wrong for not giving him sexual or romantic favors back. It's a defense mechanism, a way for the guy to make the girl seem coldhearted or callous or dumb for simply acting on her feelings, or rather lack of feelings.
5. Because No Girl Just Wants A 'Nice Guy.' You need to be more than an innocent little boy. You need to be a smart, witty, funny, charming and confident man. Girls don't like 'nice guys' or 'douchebags', they like guys who are real, just like guys like girls who are real. If you think a girl owes you something simply because you're a 'nice guy', then you have a warped sense of entitlement with the females, man.
The friendzone is the ineffectual tool of an ineffectual male. Stop using it as an excuse. There's a girl out there for you but you can't expect it to be me and blame me when it isn't, Capish? |

Culture › Re: Nigerians And Fake Foreign Accents by Junipero: 5:08pm On Nov 01, 2014 |
claremont: I think it depends on the social circle you find yourself when you live and work in countries like the UK and the USA. I live and work in a white-dominated environment, 95% of my colleagues are all white British-born; I don't have an English accent but I have learned to speak in a way that the people in my social circle can understand and relate with. I am sick and tired of repeating myself anytime I have to communicate with them using my Nigerian accent, and hence, I had to make an effort to speak in a way they can understand.
The OP talked about his family who have lived for years overseas and yet they still retain their Nigerian accent, I think it's because they have maintained a social circle that is made up of people from their backgrounds i.e. fellow Nigerians and Africans. There is no way an African would live in a European and/or American social circle and wouldn't unintentionally imbibe some elements of their culture i.e. their way of speaking.

nevilbot: All those asking about TOEFL, the thing is u can't register it by ursef u most use an agent WO might stress u in d end like we av heard here. I don't know y u guys don't just register for ielts DAT u can register by ursef and get ur result wen u need it
As for emirates luggage of 30kg, I took Turkish and dey allowed 2 diff luggage's of 23kg each so if u do d maths DAT is more Dan emirates single luggage of 30kg and I still carry hand luggage join. And the advantage of Turkish over emirate is d distance of d second flight to Germany. The first flight from Lagos to Istanbul or Dubai is roughly d same but na d second leg u go which u av taken a shorter route cus u will b tired already. Turkish will b like 3 hrs to Germany while emirates will be anoda agonizing 7 hrs or dia about. I would av died if I took emirate cus 2hrs into my second flight I was already finding it difficult to breath in d plane. So my advice will b to take an airline with a shorter second flight to ur destination.
As per d cold, oh boy d tin Don wan kill me so Tay I Don go buy hand gloves Eskimo hoodie e.t.c even my jeans no thick reach. Guys don't waste money buying all does flat soles naija shoes called knock about, buy correct tennis with lace and ankle shoes with big soles cus d cold no b beans o.its 6 degrees today in Frankfurt if u know wat that means.

All our dreams go become reality ooo LOL @ Under bridge and Eskimo gloves No worry.. house no suppose be big problem for Frankfurt, our capital City of Hessen. Visit www.wg-gesucht.dewww.vierwaen.dePls make sure your google webpage translator is active (if u understand no shred of Deutsch) |

No enter that taxi for airport oo unless say u dey ready to spend wela. Emirates airlines na baba. If u carry cream, abeg put am for ur box..no put am for hand luggage. Emirates dey carry 30kg for box and 7kg for hand luggage. But if ur box pass 30kg, just buy small Ghana must go and put the remaining..they'll wrap it at d airport and give it a tag. Then check the two in ie.the box of 30kg and ghana must go bag. You'll nt pay any extra.
If i remember anything again i'll let u guys know. Cold?? Bro u never jam the main Guy.. He's coming around in November. Although temperature don drop to 6degrees yesterday. Welcome to Hessen. Yours truly, a Guy in Kassel. |

Eke40seven: Well, while I sink fast in a quicksand, shouting for help, let me see if I can raise some people's hopes with this juicy rumour, if I did go down eventually. This is for prospective Bsc students in Germany with WAEC only. A virtual friend who was at the embassy yesterday met someone who got admission in a German university through Uni assist with WAEC result alone. He went into a heated argument with the 'claimant', and she proved beyond every reasonable doubt that the case was true. Juicy, isn't it? Things change either for good or bad. Since am a hard line campaigner on the acceptable results in Germany, I felt also indebted to let this info out. Although I know a rumoured school already but we need more (Make naija people no crash the school portal with applications, ) What will happen is this, let someone volunteer to write a mail to Uni assist in this regard, it would be liberating for many. Wouldn't it? Language of Instruction:German or English ? I severely doubt if it's in German. English? Of course/maybe. |

Most women are ungrateful and never remember past once they become a bit successful in life!
