Thanks very much for this... the 2x2 config should give me abt 90voc.
but I suppose mppt cc is most efficient when voc is about 1.5 or 2 times the battery voltage. In this case im having 24v batt with 45voc panel array (which is abt 1.5 to 2 times batt voltage). I could be wrong though...can you explain more?

45v voc means there is no load on the panel. Imp means there is load on the panel. Since your panel is rated 24v, your imp should be around 36v at peak (1-2pm) during off peak your panel will operate below 28v which is very close to the battery voltage making your system to understand perform. In all cc is underutilised or are the panels not connected since you are working with 45v voc?

Though am using 125watts panel on my 100amps battery with 20A mppt cc n its been working fine for me n thinking of adding more to it, ur explanation as for d watts panel to be used to above ? Wil be appreciated. Tanx

I don't know the make of your battery and I don't know if the cells can take 20a. Just add one more 125-130w to stay within the range of 10-15a the avoid what you have in this picture

U can use any amount ofsolar panel for it in as much as u are using mppt charger controller in ur connection. Bur note if u are using more dan one panel to charge ur battery bank as it wil charge ur battery fast in due time, aw u ar going to arrange ur panel will depend on d voltage of ur battery. i.e 12v or 24v or 48v battery

Hi all,
please help with these questions
I have a prag 24V inverter with 4 batteries, NO solar panel and charge controller yet but will come later, how do i know if my battery is charged since prag charge indicator will only work for a while and the indication will stop as if the charging is complete. so some questions
1. Can I test the batteries with multimeter while on power, actually has been doing this
2. What is the average DC volts in multi meter to know if the battery are charge when there is still a source of power (eg Generator or NEPA) and when there is no power.
3. What is the average lowest DC volts measured from multimeter when the battery is discharged
4. I noticed that most of the time, only battery 1 and 4 are seriously discharged while battery 2 and 3 remains almost the same while prag is showing that it is remaining 2 bars. Any explanation for this.

i checked online for examples of how to connect the batteries and it seems all is fine concerning battery connection.

is it this stabilizer you are referring to? Please note this stabilizer has no battery selection but if you use a normal deep cycle battery, you are OK with the 20a charger. The maximum charge voltage is 29.3v. You can upload photos of your connection

figure 1 & 2 are the same but figure 2 is more efficient. Figure 2 will make sure you have equal voltage at each battery during charge and discharge so use figure 2
