IyaebeTheGreat:Don't deflect. |
IyaebeTheGreat:Married to who?. Even you yourself know this is ridiculous and not true. Pls go and do the needful. It won't kill you, one way or the other, you will find all answers to any questions, doubts, assumptions, presumptions, suspicions etc, you may have concerning your concern as it relates to the subject matter of interest. Just respond meaningfully to issues raised there. That's all. |
IyaebeTheGreat:Your wish is hereby granted by me. This and more will be made possible in your life. My own wish is for that 60+ nairalander to respond to very serious outstanding issues on his/her mail. IyaebeTheGreat Deadline for application is Friday, 31st of March 2023. Women In Politics Forum (WIPF): With support from IRI, the Women In Politics Forum (WIPF) is organising a Peer–to–Peer Regional Mentorship programme to support selected female politicians to build their capacities to effectively participate in politics and governance to ensure a gender-responsive society. The Project aims to support female politicians by building their capacity and confidence to engage their political parties for more gender-responsive structures through knowledge management and mentoring. As we see the end of one election cycle, it is important to continue to empower women to pursue politics more intentionally using the current election incidents as a good example. Kindly share the link with as many people in your circle to increase the number of women in politics in Nigeria as we plan for the 2027 General Elections!!! https://www.wipfng.org/programs/0945ae6fd65b549044494f0635b4d37e https:///Q7yH2a8r4y3JPjgt7 |

Some times I wonder how some of us reason in this country. Somebody created a very intelligent thread to address a serious ongoing concern and threat in our society. Rather than commend him and make progressive surgestions why the owners and operators of the Nairaland Platform should take his well thought out case seriously, people are busy regurgitating and expressing the very ills he was trying hard to address. Let's try to shun evil, speak against it before it consumes us all. Well-done OP. Sadly, topics like these may not be one of those on the front page. But silly and unproductive topics will take front role. Let's all play our part to guarantee a better world. Even if as Nigerians we decide to go our separate ways, it can be done peacefully with civility and dignity. Thank you all. |
Interesting question. In my opinion, the state they were before the madness is what will matter. If the madness was inflicted on them by someone else, then the state of their affairs with God before they lost their mind will be the factor to determine their destination, hell or heaven. If however the madness was of their own making, e.g drugs or involving in some diabolic or occult activities which affected their minds, then they have received on earth the punishment for their action and in the hereafter, hell. Someone asked what if the person was born mad. Well, I have never heard of a case of someone born mad, but if that were possible, then I think the fate of such a person will be the same with that of a baby born dead, or who died at infancy before the age of accountability. My take. |
IyaebeTheGreat:Fine thank you. Pls don't forget your Monday promise. Say me Hi! to the kids. |
Elvictor:APC will cary Rivers State. The activities of Gov. Wike in PDP before these elections even started will greatly affect the fortunes of PDP. SDP may even surpass PDP to come second in this Rivers State Governorship election. |
IyaebeTheGreat:Good advice. And you too, stay safe. And those of us in Lagos, Rivers and Akwa Ibom states especially should be more vigilant and carefull. The tendency for violence is higher in these states. |

IyaebeTheGreat:How sure are you? |
Kobojunkie:Exactly, married or not, abortion is evil and morally wrong, and thanks to God in some jurisdictions around the world, it is also ilegal. The discussion on the morality of sex in or out of marriage is not necessarily the focus. The focus here is the killing of an unborn child, whethere it was done my married loving couples who made a 'mistak' and discovered that they are about to have a baby they were not ready to have, or by unmarried singles who in the first placed breached the moral code of not sleeping together in the first place by virtue of their unmarried status even though their act may not necessarily be a legal wrong. The morally justifiable condition where abortion may be allowed (and I think that is also the legal position in our jurisdiction here) is where by virtue of a medical complication for example, the matter then comes down to the decision as to say in order to save the wife/woman, the unborn child would have to be aborted. @Adebowhales, pls be well guided. |
Adebowhales:Pls be guided, abortion whether by single or married couples, in marriage or out of marriage is the same evil, the killing of an unborn child, it's murder and a gross violation of human life. |
Eli2002:Hi!, Yet to get a feedback from you. |

IyaebeTheGreat:Fine, thanks for asking. How are the kids?. I would not want to derail somebody's thread so I am going to send you a DM, pls do well to respond this time around, thanks. |
IyaebeTheGreat:Is this who I think it is?, I mean that person who still has an outstanding issue to address? |
I suspect this election due to the observed irregularities could be upturned by the court. It is very possible the last may not have been heard of this election. I foresee drama, twists and turns. Personally, I think Osibanjo would have probably been the best candidate for president in our country in this season and not even . I was disappointed he lost at the primaries. In any case, let us not allow the political outcome of this election destroy our relationships with each other, whether on this platform or on the streets. Candidates and their supporters aggrieved with the election outcome should seek redress through lawful means not the streets. |
