The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has released the list of candidates of political parties for the 2023 general elections.
The list which contains the particulars, presidential candidates and running mates of each political party was published at INEC offices nationwide.


The publication identified the following candidates and their running mates:
All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Mr Ibrahim Masari.
Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate and his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa.
Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP)and his running mate, Doyin Okupe.
Osita Nnadi, presidential candidate of Action Peoples Party (APP) and his running mate,  Isa Hamisu.
Abiola Kolawole, presidential candidate of Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) and his running mate, Ribi Marshal
Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party and his running mate, Johnson Oladipupo.
Yabagi Sani, presidential candidate of Action Democratic Party (ADP) and his running mate, Udo Okey -Okoro.
Ado-Ibrahim Abdulmalik, presidential candidate, Young Progressives Party (YPP) and his running mate, Enyinna Kasarachi.
Omoyele Sowere, presidential candidate African Action Congress (AAC) and his running mate, Garba Magashi.

Oluwafemi Adenuga, presidential candidate of Boot Party (BP) and the running mate Turaku Mustapha.
Daberechukwu Nwanyanwu, presidential candidate of Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) and the running mate, Ramalan Abubakar.
Dumebi Kachikwu presidential candidate, African Democratic Congress (ADC) and his running mate, Ahmed Mani.
Hamsa Almustafa, presidential candidate, Action Aliance (AA) and his running mate Chukwuka Johnson among others.
According to the timetable and schedule of activities for the 2023 General elections released by INEC, it was indicated that political parties have until July 15 to withdraw or replace their candidates and running mates for the presidential and National Assembly elections.
This means that Tinubu, Obi and other presidential candidates who submitted “placeholder” names as their running mates have about 19 days to submit the substantive names.

1. Is he/she a bad girl/man or possess any character traits that warrant your concern for him/her not to be with the other person?.

If the answer is no then you attitude towards them is unjustified.

She is an adult and knows what she wants. There is no point her pretending about it. If you feel differently about it then that is your opinion which you have a right to, just as she has similar right to be entitled to hers and both act and think the way she did.

Come to think of it, you said she is your friend, has she in the past displayed such attitude towards other men or in the habit of doing so in the past?. If no, then isn't it Posible that she had finally met someone she truely connects and likes and therefore express her genuine feelings?.

Contrary to what you may be thinking, you may actually be encouraging deviant behaviours unknowingly. You may as well have been stabbed to death in the course of that theft. So many terrible things accompany acts involving phone theft, from rape etc. It is not a good idea to give him the code. Let him return the phone to you and you pay for the cost of the return since he knows now it was stollen. Even if you can't pay for the return, better the phone remains useless.

Am not an expert in phones but there could also be security concerns here as well. If the phone is used for fraudullent acts or even terrorist acts, investigation by lawfully authorities may eventually lead to you as the owner of the phone. Why should you give someone access to the phone you claimed was stollen from you if not because you were working together. That will become the narrative that can/ may be used to implicate you.

I sincerely hope the police are doing a thorough job because this statement if true that it came from the police raises more questions. For example, were the injuries or whatever internal kidney enlargement consistent with foot ball injuries as alleged to have been the position of the school management regarding the injuries sustained by the boy.?

Furthermore, the decision to rule out murder seems to have been based entirely on the said medical report. But what about the police investigation itself. When/If they interviewed classmates, friends, teachers etc, what have they found out. The toxicology report they are waiting for will simply tell what the child ingested. But this will not answer the questions as to whether he took it voluntarily or was made or tolled to do so or how the substance came in possession of the child. Forensic/ medical report as well as what the police discovers in the field (I.e interactions with various actors) should go side by side and not just medical/ forensic report alone.

My heart really goes out to the boy. There should be a detailed explanation as to how different activities could have led to this situation. Even the role of the parents. I can't help shake the feelings that they themselves were somehow negligent in terms of how they handled the whole situation including the alleged bullying that they were made aware of by their child.

There some few things you have to consider:

1. TIMING: It is good you have passion in such critical area of our society called marriage/family where guidance us very much needed in light of the chaos been experienced with far negative consequences for the next generation. However, you may want to start by building capacity rather than getting into the game because passion is not enough. Capacity building here would involve both spiritual and intellectual capacity. Studies in the field of human behaviour, social changes etc. For example amongst others, having professional qualifications in the field of Mediation, Dispute resolution etc. You may even offer your services to organisations such as FCT Family Court etc because if you really want to make significant impact, you must from day one consider Strategic Partnerships cutting across religious and circular world. You may also consider some level of mentorship.

2. LUCRATIVENESS: Realistically speaking, this line of activity you are planing to venture into would and can not on its own sustain you. You would have to do it along side a money paying job or business, whatever. But with time, having built a reputation in the field, I am sure the rewards will come. Your speaking engagements, books etc on the subject will become a stream of income on it's own.

I think with the points above, you can. But more than anything els, I repeat, you need knowledge, skills. You have to first Build Capacity.

Because I read somewhere on NL that without applying for study leave any certification you present after you've been recruited into the civil/public service is usually considered invalid.

The advice he gave you was simply the best. Take the job now and the rest can be handled in the future. Look at it this way, even if you are prevented from using the degree certificate you are currently on because you did not apply for study leave as you feared, nothing stops you from using the certificate in question from applying for other jobs. Also, in say a worst case scenario, you apply for the study leave and go back to school to get another degree if that is what it takes to get you upgraded. It is an all-round win because which ever the case, you are gainfully employed. Like he said, the opportunity may not present itself again. I hope you make the best of the opportunity.

When a president, governor, etc: politicians generally, when they convert public funds for hospitals etc through corrupt means, have they not deprive the course of the poor. When in the Civil Service a less qualified candidate was taken or promoted over a person deserving of the positions based on ethnic, religious or plainly bribery, is that not injustice. These people mentioned here are not necessarily lawyers.

You also said the curse is on any lawyer who breaks the law of justice, I agree, but so too for any body, whether a doctor in the operation theater, a sports official etc.

The point I was trying to make was simply that the Bible provision quoted was not to mean the profession of Lawyers as we now have today, but rather the Pharisees etc who were at the time, custodians of the law of God and were supposed to teach the people. Just even read to the end. It says, in summary, that they do not enter heaven, yet prevent others from entering. How can you say in our modern time that lawyers, singularly as a profession, prevent people from entering heaven. In fact, the set of people in our present day who may debatably come close to the description in the verse of the Bible quoted, will be pastors, bishops, etc: religious leaders. Even on a faceless platform like this, the way people express themselves in terms of what they say or how they express those ideas , tell a lot on who they are in terms of their personalities, values etc.
