rvp2018: Make bicycles first - Vietname export 10B dollar worth of bicyles; then make a car like this;otherwise don't rebadge chinese crap otherwise you'll lose the afCFA secretariat - because Africa countries will not become dumping ground for bootlegged substandard chinese product badged with made in Ghana. Not kenya for sure.
The fact that your country doesn't have an indigenous automaker does not mean you have to be jealous.... Kantanka sold almost 6,000 vehicles last year.
This comment is informative= just got wrong on railway part...
I am Kenyan, just subscribed to your channel. You look humble and ready to learn. I can tell you Kenya we do not have any major resource like oil but we depend only on human capital just like Japan and Singapore have done. The country literacy level is 87 percent ranked 3rd in Africa . The road network in rural area in Kenya is equally the same as urban area hence fast movement and connectivity. Kenya has the best railway network in Africa. Diaspora people are investing back in the country just like china did some years back. If you follow very well what the president of Ghana nana Addo says, that is what is happening on the ground in Kenya. No need to compare Nigeria and Kenya. Nigeria is the biggest economy in Africa and the most populous but the problem now is the quality of life in Lagos compared to Nairobi. Nigerians can do it better than Kenya if they have the will, because of the big market going with their population and also oil and gas resource. Last but not least i think Kenya not having oil, gas and other resources is a blessing in disguise, no civil wars and fighting for resources, the only resource Kenyans have is knowledge from good education. all in all we are still brothers from the same continent called Africa.
rvp2018: You only drift if you try it with your old Audi. If you're driving a proper racing car - which do not exist in Ghana - you won't drift unless you're untrained. That is why racing cars are more than horsepower and torgues - it about steering, tires, suspension and entire chasis. It not about stepping on the accelerator. To drive at 250-300 kms per hour in rough road in tough corners is not a joke.
You see you probably never seen a racing competition like nearly every kenya has seen.
We grew up seeing legend like Collins Mcrae - driving his subaru to ridicolous speed. Again you need to see how those cars turn corners - --before you see - they are gone. That is why they remove exhaust and make as loud as possible to warn you to get the hell out.
That is why only an ignorant twit like you can say Subaru Impreza WRX or Mistubishi Lancer Evo are crap - these are rallying cars - Japanase do sell them cheaply - a bit dumped down version.
rvp2018: Learn straight-line motion. Motor racing car turn corners at ridiculous speed - 250-300km per hour -- and the basic is how to deal with corners and turns. Otherwise, any fool like you can step on the accelerator on a straight line like we saw in Ghana...floor it and talk about horse power and torgue!
rvp2018: I started driving before you were born - precisely in 1989. Youre typical west african with zero knowledge of motor racing. Kenya has long history of safari rally - the ultimate motor racing then. There is a lot that is different in driving a racing car and driving your car. First thing I told is how to turn corners without losing speed...and you do that by left-foot braking - with other foot on the accelerator - I know it doesn't make sense to a slowpoke like you - but at nearly all times - the racing car has the accelerator foot on - so you don't lose time- the driver main job is to flatten all the corners and turns - and make it a straight line - timing when and where to left or right foot break with the accelerator pedal on.
you are dumb and silly
You dont know how to drive and you know nothing about Mechanics which is basic physics.....
Whenever a body in motion faces resistance, it lose speed..... This basic physics applies to two pedal bungie jump cars as well ....
Those things are not really cars .... they are bungie karts .... with a motor and basic reduction gear...
Mo*ron
You drift by aggressive angle steering at 2nd gear and pumping the accelerator to achieve 3000 RPM... apply clutch to stiffen and create balance and cautiously apply the hand brake to throw the rear out of balance
rvp2018: Madman - watch this video - left foot braking is the basic of motor racing. What do Ghanain like you know about motor racing. The slowpoke think like typical Ghana weekend racer - that driving racing cars is like driving their 30yr old AUDI . Start with even opening Go-Karting circuits to teach your kids basic.
obaaderemi: Too bad @bolded. There's actually sports car racing and it's different from F1 or Karting. You see what we keep telling you: You know nothing about car racing.
rvp2018: Which races? The ability to turn sharp corners at top speed is everything. Otherwise it easy to stick an a jet engine in a car. Racing cars don't normally slow down on corners; they turn the car steering at the same high speed. Don't think it's typical driving where you slow down every corner...you turn corners by left braking while the accelerator is on the other foot...so the car slides and turn at high speed....force travel in straightline - and that is important technique that rally drivers must master.
obaaderemi: Now, I believe just30 when he said you know nothing about car racing. There are other kinds of car racing apart from F1 and go kart. There's one called sports car racing. That's the one I was referring to. And it's Go-kart not GP Karting.
rvp2018: Engaging an ignorant madman. There are different motor racing. Formulae 1 kind of racing on special tracks or super bike for 2-cyckles - the Germans are good. WRC - on rough roads - and motor-cross - Japanase are ahead - Toyotas, Mits and Subarus have won more WRC races than anyone else - and Yamaha in motorcross is also good.
As for assembling few 30yr old BMWs like Ghana - well let us say it's baby steps.
Lunatic
Let me preserve my phone battery.... you dont know shit about cars
A subaru can't even compare to an Audi RS4 Let alone a toyota or shitty car like Mitsubishi
rvp2018: Again bike level Kenya motorcross (bike) competition has been there since ages; it serious; starting from kids; Uganda does have serious bike competition. Ghana NOPE. Stick to football and we will listen - you're good by african standards - but out there - there are so many other sports that you don't even know exist with your limited world view.
These are child's play compare to Ghanaian riders level....
You can only display that on the African stage
Ghanaian riders compete with the best in the US
You keep mentioning Nigeria as if you are mate with them meanwhile Nigeria buys the most luxury cars on the continent. If you can't reach Ghana level, how will you get to Nigeria... when it comes to cars?
rvp2018: Kenya buy more Ferraris and BMWS than both Nigeria and Ghana combined - brand new. They are not for motor racing - the special ones are designed for F1. Those are surban cars. Go to World Motor Racing - WRC - and check the cars there. Dont think those Japanse racing cars are a joke.
Again this beyond your brain - understand motor racing in kenya is a proffesional sport - not an idle weekend job.
And nobody will enter a Ferrari or BMW in there; it just won't handle the rigorous of the job. If you're looking for Ghana type idle competition on a straight 5km tarmac then maybe it could come close to proper racing car.
Kenyans are too poor to afford BMW and Ferraris , we all know that.
No Japanese or Asian car can match German machine ... where do you think that popular phrase came from?
For someone who doesn't even know what torque and RPM is, you are definitely not qualify to talking about racing cars. Go hide your face and stop making noise
If you want proper racing, come and take part in Accra obstacles racing games.
I had to add games to it to let you know how often it happens , so the small brain in your head can comprehend
rvp2018: Uganda has some respectable motor racing...I know this too much for your west african backward brain. Assembling a few BMWS is not motor racing.
1) When it come to motor racing - kenya is far ahead in Africa - South Africa come 2nd. 2) When it come to bike (motorcross) racing - kenya is also far ahead but South Africa come top 3) Biycle - you well Know FROOME learnt racing in kenya.
These are sports that happen every seasons in kenya like you got football.
This is NOT IDLE WEEKEND by some people exhibiting their old second hand BMWS or Ferraris.
rvp2018: Lol accra: and racing; to where; Juju gods; Most kenyans grew up when easter was the Safari rally - the biggest and toughest car racing event in the world (there was no dakar rally then) - and nearly every kenyan grew up wanting to own a racing car - then it was Subaru WRC edition, Toyota Celica, VW Golf and of course Mistubishi EVOLUTION. Then it was competion btw Japanese and Europeans with maybe Ford once in a while.
Ghana - racing cars Man - South Africa admire Kenya when it come to racing.
Kenya young kids mosty start by buying either Subarus Impreza or VW GOLF edition or Mits Evolution for rallying - Toyota seem to have given up.
Obviously the Ferraris and Lamborghinis - are luxury cars - mostly now interested in F1 - with Mclaren and the likes.
I CAN BET THERE IS NO SINGLE RACING CAR IN GHANA. Dont think racing car is just any type of crap...first the iron cage inside there to protect the driver is serious worker...the shock absorbers world class...you cannot drive 200kms on rough road on normal tires or shock absorbers.
IN Africa - its kenya then down down down to South Africa - and maybe in even Zimbabwe and Uganda.
Dont think this small event - this is World Racing Event
Your obsessions are real
In Ghana, we dont use those cheap cars you are mentioning.
Our boys use BMW and Mercedes, Lamborghini and Ferraris, McLaren and audi, golf and Nissan GTR, Dodge Hellcat, Porsche, Alfa Romeo and etc.
Cars with between 600 and a 1400 pound feet of torque We are talking about proper racing car and you are here mention 1993 Subaru? Madness is doing you I can bet, there are no proper racing cars in kenya.
obaaderemi: Oga, go and sit down. You don't know the meaning of Oxymoron. Stop saying rubbish like the idiot you are. A person can't be an oxymoron. Even if a person personifies an oxymoron, how is that a bad thing. Meanwhile an oxymoron is just a figure of speech, eg... Bitter Sweet.... and such.
Back to the issue- people no longer swallow line hook and sinker what the WB says. I know Togo very well and there's no way a study that places Togo and South Africa together as equals in terms of hci can go unquestioned. We are talking about South Africa and Togo, not South Africa and Kenya, but in your desperation you keep telling us what you are doing in Kenya. Why don't you tell us about Togo?
And you even went as far as equating Togo and Ghana. Well, that's between you and just30.
Rmbr,on ToT we saw their kindergarten (mis)education. Imagine the net GDP gain if their kids had basic skills!
Our kids have basic skills and knowledge and they are groomed well to spot the opportunities in society and use their skills to create sunshine and brighten their corner.
That's why Ghanaians are less poor and own marvelous properties.
The terrible educational standards in kenya is the reason for kenya poverty and slum dwelling. Basically kenyans can't think beyond their nose and tongue.
