mtisTheQubit:Did he face racism or not? If he did, then he has every right to complain about it. We can't be complaining about racism from the Europeans and Americans towards us whiles we sit here in Africa and do the very same things to ourselves. Does it even make sense to you that, it is so difficult to travel across African countries than it is to travel across European countries? |
mtisTheQubit:that will make whatever country he was shot in a barbaric country. You cant go around shooting people for taking pictures |
mtisTheQubit:what do you even mean? So, if someone is wrongly arrested, He shouldnt talk about it? I must admit, I've not watched his SA episodes yet. |
tylann:why shouldnt he complain? Is photography taking wrong? Is there any law to it? Was there a no photography allowed tag pasted at where he was taking pictures? |

gallivant:Again, another dumb submission ![]() Define a one party state and see funny kenyans |
TayserMahrii:the man was opposed to capitalism because capitalism was highly destructive Nkrumah was a socialist and all of his socialist policies worked perfectly well and made Ghana economically prosperous. If you read his books, you will know that who really he was. In a speech to the Indian Council on World Affairs, December 26, 1958, Nkrumah said: "We, in Africa, will evolve forms of government, rather different from the traditional Western pattern, but no less democratic in their protection of the individual and his inalienable rights." That is a democratic man. In Nkrumah's book Africa Must Unite, he wrote: "If the will of the people is democratically expressed in an overwhelming majority for the governing party, and thereby creates a weakening of the accepted two party system, the government is obliged to respect the will of the people so expressed. We have no right to divide our mandate in defiance of the popular will of the people." That is a democratic man speaking To what good was multi party presidential system when the opposition will only get 1% in an election because they couldnt find trust with the people? This was why Nkrumah was advocating for a different system whereby the parliament had more power and the president get to be choosen from there. This is a man who knew the dangers of a one-party system and already had a plan against it so that it doesnt lead to perpetuating of insanity Nkrumah warned with great alarm: "A one-party system of government is an effective and safe instrument only when it operates in a socialist society. In other words, it must be a political expression of the will of the masses working for the ultimate good and welfare of the people as a whole. On the other hand, a one-party system of government in a neo-colonial client state, subject to external pressures and control, can quickly develop into the most dangerous form of tyranny, despotism, and oppression. It can become, in the hands of a few privileged rascally-minded and selfish individuals in a neo-colonialist state, a weapon and a tool for suppressing the legitimate aspirations of the people in the interest of foreign powers, and their agents. I repeat that a one-party state can only function for the good of the people within the framework of a socialist state or in a developing state with a socialist programme. The government governs through the people, and not through the class cleavages and interests. In other words, the basis of government is the will of the people." Even the US was a socialist state when that nation first formed. Nation-building is for the wise only, Nkrumah built a strong groud for the multi party democracy that is free of tribalism for Ghana. See Kenya today, Moi was a dumb man who was only interested in pleasing the Americans and Brits and today Kenya has a disfunctional political system. |
TayserMahrii: ![]() you are really dumb how did Ghana become a one party state when the opposition party participated in every single election and even won parliamentary seats? ![]() |
TayserMahrii:and i told you that, once the president handpicks a VP and they go for elections, they both become elected officials. your entire political history has been filled with dictators who won't relinquish power but rather create a dynasty. |
TayserMahrii:im responding to your earliear post that the president choose his VP get your head out of alcohol so that you can concentrate on a convo |
TayserMahrii:Can you help yourself by defining a one-party state? ![]() |
you are really dumb ![]() How can you read that and think Nkrumah was not democratic ? Define democracy and see. TayserMahrii:the CIA hated him because he stood against all the evils of the US around the world. Nkrumah was more democratic than even the US president then. again no one compared Ghana and China but you are too slow and dumb not to grasps it. I only showed to the number one economic model that has worked for everyone all throughout the ages which Nkrumah followed. Ghana has never been associated with a one-party state, Een those who sort to propagate and coined those stuffs never succeeded in making it stick. What makes you think you will ![]() |

gallivant:Blackwater runs a mining firm in DRC Wagner protects a mining company as contracted to do , as well as train the DRC army. Go and learn ![]() Blackwater is even operating in Kenya |
TayserMahrii:the president choose his VP before the election hence they are both voted for though only the president shows on the voting slip in Ghana, the constitution gives the president the right to appoint ministers which will have to be vetted by parliament and he can fire them at any time. |
gallivant:see this child ![]() do you know who the WAGNER GROUP is ? do you know what Blackwater is ? |
TayserMahrii:Ghana at no point was a one party state ![]() we are not Kenya ![]() the opposition could not find favour with the people because of their policies of enriching themselves which the people hated. |
TayserMahrii:Again another lie Nkrumah never declared himself president for life The opposition started calling him president for life because,in his first three election, he won by 90% and their fortunes kept declining hence they became desperate. and went to all lent just to get him out of the way. Nkrumah was overthrown by the CIA and not by the people. Nkrumah was not Marxist and he kept mentioning the people because all his policies were people centred what is politics if it is not meant to improve the lives of the people. So as you can see, Ghana did not just start being people-centred today. This is why we've built a better society. It was done through the opposition as they sort to break the ranks of the military. Democracy died in Ghana after Nkrumah was overthrown. AS we can all see today, Nkrumah was right and those economics models are the best. China has made it work, Nkrumah made it work, Norway made it work, Russia made it work The US made it work, and those sprawling industries made Ghana a great economy then. |
gallivant:shut up ZOMBIE you have the least idea what is happening in DRC, you dont even know what is happening in your own country. ![]() |
TayserMahrii:he is still an elected official |
TayserMahrii:there were CPP, UP and UGCC all legal parties that participated in presidential and parliamentary elections. ![]() |
TayserMahrii:The opposition got so frustrated that the people weren't voting for them as 90% of votes went to the CPP hence they formed a breakaway political party base on tribalism and when they didnt succeed, they resulted in bomb attacks on the president for 5 good times. again, anyone who will term his response as Marxist socialist does not really know the man Nkrumah. Those who plan dubious deeds can only have themselves to blame. |
TayserMahrii:sorry kiddo Nkrumah govern Ghana in a dual party parliamentary system. developed by Ghana as it best suited us. |
Danielnino00: ![]() dont mind him He thinks we run foolish kind of politics here like they do in Kenya where one family feels they have the right to rule that despotic land like a monarchy |
TayserMahrii:The Ghanaian history was never dark ![]() All records shows that the man was absolutely right and under him, Ghana performed wonderfully. The truest form of parliamentary democracy in Ghana ever experienced was during his time. The parliament of Ghana was the most powerful entity. This is why Ghana political scene is not tribalistic like Kenya's. Nkrumah used the laws to crush all forms of tribal base politics before they even gain ground. And there was no single election without opposition. |
TayserMahrii: ![]() your education is half baked if i said never ever, then you can say i had no limitation and i was being emphatic therefore the country is better off not existing. In English, a word has no meaning until it is defined in a sentence. The sentence gives meaning to the word. Get used to the changes in the language if you so which to speak it. Cant believe i have to teach you english this eveing |
TayserMahrii: ![]() I only talk about FACTs if you turn to be someone who hates facts, you will get pissed. ![]() |
TayserMahrii:again , Ghana was never a one-party state It was just a far cry by the opposition as they never gt away with infringing upon the laws of Ghana. And when they tried to create a tribalistic society and political tribalism, Nkrumah stopped them. ![]() |
