BedLam: Just another example to show how clueless you are; where is kasapreko? Aren't they Ghanaians? But origin drove them out of the market. What about burger peanut? You said Ghana businesses aren't allowed to market here and I just gave you an example. do you even know how long it took Kasapreko before it could enter the Nigerian market it basically had to result to smuggling it products through which even cost them more. Just say you have no idea what it mean to move products across borders or sea ports |

Every one to their own hustle, no discrimination Ghanaian cement companies cannot market their produce in Nigeria Ghanaian flour Mills cant sell their produce in Nigeria Ghanaian cannery companies cant access the Nigerian market because you guys cant stand competition Here you are playing the victim card ECOWAS was supposed to ensure free trade you cant ban countries from accessing your market and expect them to open theirs for you Next will be, severe restrictions on Nigerian Banks in Ghana |

Nukilia: Anytime its about Nigeria, you see Ghanaians develop virtual muscles . Don't be a racist! The retail sector which you're trying to protect is actually not protected. Stop calking your fellow Africans morons. We have Ghanaians in Europe, USA, CHina e.t.c doing business and nobody is hunting them down.
The 7 banks which collapsed in Ghana was due to the mismanagement by Ghanaians who are expected to protect the public sector. How many foreign banks collapsed? None! The earlier we realise that as Africans we need each other the better for us all. oh Ghana knows that we need each other as Africans Ghana just want Nigeria to remove its import ban list as well as the restrictions it has on Ghanaian businesses trying to get their produce into Nigeria |
Business › Re: Traders Seek ECOWAS Intervention As Ghana Shuts 400 Nigerian Businesses by Just30: 9:27am On Sep 25, 2018 |
Nukilia: Stop this kind of talk... Are you trying to tell me that your fellow African who's trying to make like 1000 GHC should be allowed to suffer?
This is the wickedness that has been sowed in our hearts by the West. The big malls which sell imported produce are busy carting billions out of the Ghanaian economy everyday. 80% of the products in those malls are imported and the government is not making sure that locals are allowed to supply the malls with local farm produce..
What the average Nigerian is making in the retail sector is highly insignificant. They need that little money to survive in the hard economy.
Have you wondered how Africans go to other western countries for education purposes but the government makes sure they're able to work for some hours an make little money? The Ghanaian government doesn't make such provisions readily available for other African brothers.
We need to change our mindset as Africans. Great you know that we need to change our mindset as Africans Can we please get the Nigerian government to throw away it stupid import ban list as well as it restrictions on Ghanaian business trying to enter the Nigerian market |

martyns303: Yes! cut gas supply, Ghana has been owing Nigeria for gas Nigeria supplied. running into billions, Nigeria will use that as a reason to cut off the supply until payment is made.
Nigeria will also take Ghana to court to force them to pay their debts.
Yes, impose high taxes and tariff, Ghana needs Nigeria far more than Nigeria needs Ghana. They need are market due to our large population.
Nigeria should also prohibit Nigerians from going to study in Ghana, cut that forex going to Ghana. Just in case you don't know Nigeria can't afford to cut gas supply to Ghana that is why Nigeria sent a lobbyist to Ghana when Ghana threaten to dump Nigeria gas in favour of gas from Equatorial Guinea. |

iammo: I still insist, no ECOWAS state has the right to "deport" a Nigerian. if they broke a law they should be prosecuted. last news was spareparts traders been forced out of market for been Nigerian, now this. certain protocol must be observed. If you dont have a residence permit after the mandatory 90 days guarantee stay by ECOWAS, you'll be deported |
Crime › Re: Ghana To Deport 72 Nigerian Prostitutes by Just30: 10:29am On Sep 22, 2018 |
Pinoralia: With prostitution aside, I think a Nigerian has the right to live and work in Ghana based on ECOWAS level. ECOWAS is not a right it's a privilege. You will need residence permit to do that Renewable every year or 6 months |

Icon4s: O boy do I need to tell you that I celebrated in tears when Nigeria beat Bosnia at the 2014 WC?
The Ghanaians were always touting us that the last time we won a WC game was in 1998 (16 years back as at then). If we want to challenge dem they will say "wake me up when you win your next WC game". And this was a period, a couple of years after Ghana reached the WC quarter finals. They won us 4-1 in a friendly in 2007, 2-1 at the AFCON 2008 Q/Finals and 1-0 at the 2010 AFCON semis. That period was the best time to be a Ghanaian on Kickoff. Dem come get mouth pass us, our Super Eagles just dey fall our hand dey go. Come even became Super Chickens. We missed AFCON in 2012 join am. And the Ghanaians so much capitalised on that to shame us.
Our liberation started coming when Uche Nwofor scored the decider when we beat Ghana 2:1 during the 2011 AYC in the group's opener. Nigeria winning the AFCON in 2013 was a major blow to their ego and the icing on the cake was that 6-1 demolition at the CAF U17 followed by our display at the U17 WC that year. Something Ghana have not won since 1995 till date.
Them still dey get mouth call us "Super Chicken, with a 16years winless strick" until we beat Bosnia in 2014 and worst still dey crashed out without a single victory. Kickoff was short-down shortly after that. O boy no be small war then o.
I once decided to stay away from visiting Kickoff for 1 week after we lost to Ghana at the 2010 AFCON.
While fighting with Ghanaians we still dey fight against South Africa. Those ones we call tgem our wives. Sometimes the rest of Africa will gang up against Nigeria. I don't know where many of those our guys dey now sef. excuse me.... Ghana played a match ? how come we didnt hear about it ? |

Ovamboland: That's what you expect from a serious government and patriotic citizens and law enforcement.
If it were to Nigeria, low self esteem will make law enforcement to be smiling with foreigners or collect one small bribe to let the foreigners pocket millions meant for the Nigerian people.
Look at this statistics 2018 Nigeria: Budget- 9 trillion, population - 186 million Source - 50% from oil
Ghana: Budget - 5 trillion, population - 28 million Source - 3% from oil
What this means is that while Nigeria can only raise 4.5 trillion from taxes and fees from it's 186 million Ghana will raise more than 4.5 trillion from it's economy of 28 million people. We should cover our faces in shame as we will soon become Africa's sorry case.
From Ghana allocation for education they plan to spend 41,000 naira per student this year while Nigeria can only afford 5,000. Meaning we lost the competition with Ghana in education and the gap will widen every year we continue like this.
Tell most literate Nigerian that the government must learn to collect more money to be more effective and they will nearly bite you as many of you reading this section probably feel like.
But no matter who we vote and how well intentioned, no matter the integrity and plugging of leakages, if you don't put the required resources in education, health and infrastructure, only slogans and rethorics will be produced in 4 years before next election is due.
I mean, how to you apply 5,000 well in a whole year to out compete someone who equally applies his 41,000 well for the same purpose?
A lot of the resources that should be collected remain in the pocket of few billionaires who get waivers tax holidays. Some religious bodies even get this import waivers raking in billions to the detriment of our education and health. Shows where our priority lies.
South Africa raises $100 billion yearly from it's $390 billion economy while we can't raise $30 billion from our $500 billion economy with loans.
Our government needs to wake up as Ghana to it's responsibilities. Good enough Fowler of FIRS is growing tax base but the pace must be hastened to deliver good governance.
To be at par with what Ghana is spending per citizen our budget must be at least 33 trillion naira yearly. Think of inadequacy in what will be available for security, defence, education, health, infrastructure by raising only 9 trillion? finally someone who knows what Nigeria needs |
