BlcoChina2018: Now that Ghana has re-opened shops of ecowas nationals in Ghana, will Nigeria lift the import prohibition order issued by Obasanjo that bans the importation of certain items from ecowas countries, in contravention of existing ecowas protocols? I need to know. if they dont, there would be a complete sacking of all Nigerian businesses from Ghana |

guterKerl: So you expect Prince Charles to move from Sokoto to Onitsha to Ife, Benin and Kano. Ghana probably has only one first class king. there are too many kings to count none where interested in meeting a nobody |
Politics › Re: Prince Charles In Ghana Vs In Nigeria With Traditional Rulers (Pictures) by Just30: 10:17pm On Nov 08, 2018 |
Guestlander: The population of Lagos alone is bigger than that of Ghana. It is understandable why there are more traditional rulers in Nigeria. Also, It is not practical that prince Charles would visit all the traditional rulers in their various domains. The queen of England doesn't even sit on her throne while receiving foreign dignitaries, what is the show of power for? The humiliation meted to the Ghanaian king when the British first came is probably why they need to prop up their current king. no Ghanaian king was humiliated you might want to check your history lessons there are alot of kings and queens in Ghana and most of them were not interested in this guys visit cos its worth nothing. A true king receive visitors on his stool thats tradition |

dotuntayo: Get it right, in Ghana the king of Ashanti is the overall king. All other kings are under him. The Ashanti language is local official language in Ghana besides English language. thats an ignorant comment to make there are more chiefs and most of them were not interested in whatever it was in Ghana to do. the entire Fante Confederacy was not interested, neither were the Akyems nor Togbe Afede |

Triniti: You are a stupid slowpoke if this is the way you drive home your point, how can a government increase tax without due consultation with the relevant authorities? Do you even read the news in Ghana? You just open that purile gutter you call mouth and start taking jabs about other Africans. Have you bothered to counter the Chinese damaging the whole body of water in your country in the name of mining? You only jump and mastubate whenever the name Nigeria is mentioned......recently all the business in Ghana has been trying to get the government see reasons why there should be reduction in taxes. Let ECOWAS come together and dissolve this free trade thing let’s see if Ghanaians can be able to survive it You Nigerians are really living in delusion Ghana doesn't trade with Nigeria yet whenever you wake up to foster in your self-delusion you yab about how Ghana wont survive without Ecowas. Ghana doesnt need Ecowas to trade with Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Togo and Liberia These trade lines existed long before even Ecowas was established. There is a reason why Ghana is not interested in trading with Nigeria and it hasnt . |

Triniti: This mumu Ghanaian president has ruined the little economic boast his country had before he came onboard, he just increased tax on everything in Ghana starting from next month, beer, recharge card, hotels and so many other things prices will be going up. Saying foreigners must invest $1million as if there’s any Ghanaian that can boast of that amount in his/her account, the people are crying already, lamenting even on social media that the man has ruin them. They have vowed to send him out of office come 2020 will yo shut your mouth over there and go back to your country This ECOWAS thing is nonsense it has brought in too many nuisance into Ghana First it was Liberians, then it became Nigerians followed by Ivorians This government is the first government in Ghana that is going to make sure Every single law on the books of Ghana are enforced .... Nigerians can cry wolf all they can Have Nigeria removed it stupid import ban list ...? Youre here crying wolf |

Politics › Re: Nigerians Petition Buhari Over Locked Shops In Ghana by Just30: 3:49pm On Oct 10, 2018 |
panpan: It's a sad situation, but action still needs to be taken. A relationship between two countries should be based on reciprocity. If one country (in this case Ghana) becomes hostile, then the other country (Nigeria) should fight back. There is such a thing called economic sanctions or retaliatory measures.
On the part of Nigerian traders in Ghana, there is what is called 'plan B'. If the Ghanaian government does not soften its stance against Nigerian traders, then realize that Ghana is not the only country where you can do business. Leave the country. Look for another country that is more business friendly towards Nigerians. You may even campaign against Nigerians going for education in Ghana.
If when you were a 'small boy' (in business), your host country (Ghana) was hostile towards you, is it when you are a 'big boy', with one million dollars or more, that you will now rush to Ghana to go and invest? HMM thats good now Buhari can get to the negotiation table and remove hi useless import ban list against ecowas countries |

The bigger picture is that Ghana has unknowingly given up her sovereignty. This may not visible now but in the coming years it would become very obvious. The same way China now owns Zambia. It was done with stealth. you have no idea what youre talking about |
