A Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, lecturer has run into boiling water as he is been accused of assaulting a student.

The lecturer is also the Head of Department of Computer Science Department.

He allegedly slapped one of his students out of annoyance and she fainted immediately and was thereafter rushed to the school clinic.

According to Mohammed A. Halilu who shared the story on social media, the lecturer is fond of slapping students when annoyed.

Pandemonium in kogi state polytechnic this morming as a student (name withheld) allegedly aborted a six month old baby, the student who resides on campus woke to meet this omen as a premature baby was found behind one of their female hostel called hostel D.

The student gathered in scores to witness and gander on the occurrence, the hostel representative was called on to witness too, as soon as she got to the arena she tried sending the student back to their various domitaries, she did this for a while and all came to deaf ears as the student chanted in loud voices "we want to know the person that did this" the hostel rep came up with a suggestion by burying the deceased embroyo so as to reduce the crowd at the scene, minutes later the school securities came to the scene and see for thereself. When the school securities saw that the case is becoming out of hand they alerted the police and when they came they asked for the baby and they told the police that the hostel representative as buried it, they were shocked to ear that so immediately they got her arrested and took her to the police station for alleged murder, antecedently around 5am today a lady that stays in the hostel saw an unknown lady bending down as if she was excreting in a polythene nylon (as usual) when she apprehended her with her torch lamp, she then told the lady bending down that "if u finish shiting for that place u bet park ur shit" so the lady said she will as soon as she is done, unknowing that she is excreting a baby, the lady that apprehended the culprit could identify her if she Sees her, but since morning the lady as not been seen.

Uptill now the hostel rep and the lady that apprehended the culprits are still at the police custody. What a wicked world.

But to be heartfelt we are 56 years early to be independent and today we are at war with ourselves, a country that its citizen are living in adversity's and rigor, a country that as lost its commodity value, the standard of living is in a destitute shape, killings from one place to the other as took the dealings of the day, the roads across the country are extremely poor, the power generation that ought to be steady as been epileptic since time immemorial, our currency as gone extremely down in the context with its counterpart; the populace are living in abject indigence, hustling and striving profusely just to put a meal on the table, that as become to much to ask for these days, my country were unjust judgement are been granted to the poor, and the rich are been aggrandized in the court of law upon their bad deeds, castigate innocent bloggers that have the truth in their lungs to spit out, a country that as portray it real self to the outside world as suboptimal; oh Nigeria whose bottommost option to fight recession is to vend the countries reserves and property to the set of people that the past administrations had made rich in an undescribed form .... 56years ago or more than, we were agitating in a largish manner to be self subsistence, intriguingly the independence we seek have been conceded and granted to us by our colonial masters, its quite unfortunate that our indigenous heads that took up the government are embezzling the wealth of the nation, packing all that belongs to the citizen, as theirs, when the democratic regime begun, political candidate Ingratiating promises to the people just for them to be voted into office, as soon as the mandate is been assured in their name they gather all temerity and start sabotaging and tainting things that have posses good conditions earlier, our refineries is a perfect description.
