Op, In my own opinion anyone shouldn't marry for the wrong reasons... you can't marry cos of same social class, same religion, tribe, ethnicity, culture etc while ignoring compatibility and long term prospects...

Marriage is the only institution in the world where you'll get your certificate before studies( of cos I'm not talking about Toronto, ABU ).


I have seen and come across alot of people marrying for reasons which are not sensible and sane, how can you get married just because your friends are doing same? How can you get married cos you're trying to get back to your ex who jilted you? How can you get married just because the guy/lady is fully loaded (money,sex etc)..

How can you get married cos he's your church member? How can you just go ahead and marry cos he's based abroad or she's going to help you with foreign citizenship?
