Normally i`ll say it all boils down to GEJ. but i`ll just be scratching a small part of a big itch. it involves the government, the way they rule the country is very appalling. from the president to the local government chairman, they are all diabolical and unfit to lead. lets a call spade a spade. lets not ignore the obvious. i`m not that a religious person but its obvious that whats happening to Nigeria is not ordinary. we were not named the giant of africa for nothing. with our resources and how hardworking our people are, both ibos, yoruba and hausa, we should be on our way to become world power. i`m an ibo by tribe, and i respect every other tribe in Nigeria. i have more yoruba friends than any other tribe. i don`t blame SA, kenya or botswana, i blame our inability to unite. lets unite as one to find a way in electing the right leaders, so that we can potray a respectable image to the world, and i promise that the disrespect we get from other countries will stop. BOTSWANA IS A FAST GROWING VILLAGE, BUT WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO ATTAIN NIGERIA`S HEIGHT. THE GAP IS TOO BIG. |

Dreadlocks good or bad, when i started nurturing my dreads, my parents did not like it one bit. but as a strong will individual i kept nuturing it. i spent a lot of money to make it look perfect but, when some sort of gangster fellas wanted to hang out with me and offering me weed. and in school cults were biding for me like i was c.ronaldo being wanted wanted by man.u, chelsea and barca, i started having second thought about my hair. it all came to a head when a friends mother who is pastor started preaching to me. when i think about it, i always think of oti Nwachukwu the former BBA wiññer. the guy has dreads and he is doing well. so pls my fellow nairalanders, dreadlocks good or bad? |

Met mine at the cafe. she runs the cafe but, she is not the owner. i just came back from schl for the holidays then. and my best friend was always telling me about her, hw beautiful she is, hw witty and hilarious. and so on. that if he didn`t hav a gf already he would have asked her out. so one of those days i went to the cafe by the request of my friend on phone. i saw her there sitting at her small office typing away on the keyboard. i was gobsmacked like our british friends will say at beauty. my friend was smiling like the cat that just ate the canary. with a satisfied grin he greeted me and ask the gal to come over. she came and directed me to a system. we exchanged a few words on computer stuff. and she went over to her desk. i didn`t browse anything and i`m sure she didn`t type a word because we were busy stealing glances at each other. when my time expired i went over to collect my change. from there i chatted with her. on leaving i borrow her puzzle box with dissarangeged pic of a bear. she said she has been trying it for days but, no avail. i took the puzzle home and spent most part of the night trying to arrange the bear. i finally did it and the next day i went and gave it to her. she was all smiles and praised my ability to solve the puzzle. i collected her number and promised to call her. that same evening i came and escorted her home. and from that day it became a norm everyday. we became an item. and when i was going back to schl it was a sad experience. she kept telling the driver to wait a little longer because she was just clinging to me like she didn`t want me to go. when the car finally left the park i had unshed tears in my eyes. 2 Likes |
