Good day Everybody, I have been reading this thraed for a while and i need to ask little question, my Brother want me him to travel to the UK during is vacation period and i think i will be on vocation from school as well, my brother has valid uk visa 5 years or so because he has been traveling to UK since and other country like canada and usa, now he want to take me along with him to the UK on his next visit , my question is that is it possible we stay in an hotel since the only person we have in the UK that send us invitation letter is on vacation to the usa, also advice with any other document he can include and the application should be package.

Dear AllI need some advice please. My fiancé was refused a visiting visa based on the information he gave. He said he earns 250,000 which is his gross (before tax) whereas he actually gets paid 94,000 net (after tax).
The ECO’s words were -  I note that the account you submitted does not reflect your stated salary. Although salary credits can be seen in this account, you are more often paid 2 times less what you have claimed. [b]I also note you have not submitted any original pay slips to confirm your stated salary.[/b]Second reason for refusal given was that he used my uncle and said he is his uncle but NOT his sponsor. They rang my uncle and my uncle said he is a family friend. These are the ECO’s words  - You state that your sponsor is your uncle (He never did that. He said he was sponsoring himself) however I have contacted your sponsor today and he has confirmed you are not related as claimed. Your sponsor has confirmed that he is sponsoring your visit and that you are a family friend. Whilst I note that you will be accommodated by your sponsor, you have not provided any evidence that he has adequate accommodation available to you during your stay. You also state that he is a Doctor, however you have not provided any evidence of your sponsor’s employment in the UK. He attached a letter form my uncle and his British passport but nothing else as he never claimed to be his sponsor.He has been told he has no full right of appeal. Now the dilemma is this. Does he re-apply or do you think he’s been banned based on the inconsistencies above and though it says he hasn’t got full rights of appeal, can he still appeal ?

When the ECO said your fiancé did not submit original payslip, does it mean he submitted fake one? I don't think he is banned for 10yrs, only if he had submitted some fake documents. If he wants to re-apply then he has to address all the issues raised by the ECO.

England should shut up. Come 2018 and 2022 God willing, world cup will be hosted by Russia and Qatar, no matter whose ox is gored.

Some of u can't stop writing nonsense, England has the facilities to host world cup 2moro, can you name how many world class football stadium QATAR has? You are going on abt England being broke, England will be hosting Olympic next yr which is even more expensive compared to hosting world cup and they just finished building one of the best Olympic stadium in London. England lost the hosting right to Russia cos they refused to bribe those criminals who asked for bribe. British newspapers and BBC raised the issue of corruption in FIFA weeks b4 the winner was announced and many FIFA officials were suspended and after investigation by FIFA those officials were banned, as a Nigerian u should know that our own FIFA representative were involved.

has anyone recently applied for a student visa? I need to know if they have already implemented th plan of applicants signing an agreement of retaining their maintenance funds and remaining tuition from what they have paid in their accounts for longer than the usual 28days so it can be verified from time to time, these people have really tightened our necks oo,

it is on the ukba website that this will be starting in july but i am just checking to see that it hasn't started now.

That rule its not new, the only new thing added is the signing of agreement, all long u are required to have that money through out ur studies, when u get to the UK the school have every right to ask u to pay all the fees once cos u have shown that u have all the money during ur visa application.

no now - i am planning to apply in june, we can't normally apply more than 3 months before proposed travel, can we? i just meant working before school starts (assuming i am given a visa when i apply in Jesus' name) so I would have paid the bulk of the tuition and wouldn't put too much pressure on my self while studying,
looking to work and save up some before september.
do you know of anyone who has recently applied?

To be honest with u. .ur plan is risky, u don't know how long the visa will take b4 it comes out then u travel out, u don't know how long it will take u to get a job in the UK b4 lectures starts.

ok, but for serious people like me,    applying in june can't fit in that category, can it? because i am just borrowing and returning after i get the statement oo,  although i have paid about half of my tuition and will add some more upon resumption by God's grace , do some job between june and september to add up.
i hope to have paid about 3/4 but september by God's grace

na wa oo, so why did did school make me prove that i was taught in english? anyway, dat na small thing,  the part where students have to sign an undertaken has started yet, has it? ,   because i read somewhere that it will be starting in july, i hope they haven't started oo,  what is their business in whether we have the funds?? no be to pay finish at the end of the day? na wa oo,  do you know of anyone who has applied recently, justwise?

All the changes will be starting this admission season, they have to tighten up the sys cos pple are abusing it. some pple just get the visa and never bother to attend lectures.

i know not everyone speaks english, but english is the general language for administration and education and that is basic. are you saying I can go ahead and apply without writing this test because it doesn't specify that only people looking to study at undergraduate level should provide this. It just said tier 4 generally.
Nobody except a priviledged few can really have all that money at the convenience of after 28days - we all know that and strive to work part time to pay up while studying, this is going to start in july. I dont know why they didn't wait until next year to implement that,
even to get for the 28 days is proving hard talkless of 1 year. it is not easy, my brother.

Working 20hrs wk to pay fees and bills is hard, u will struggle to catch up, that is why they want any prospective student to be ready financially b4 coming

Sure u can spend less than that, its all depend on ur spending power, if u can control the temptation of buying things that gets ur attention then u will be ok
