I dont know what your CGPA,but you should be able to sit down and do a projection of what your final cgpa will be when you graduate,all you need is get your brochure and check the number of units left.

But from the way your cgpa is calculated you still have about 70% of work left to be done(70 is very high compare to the 30 you have done so far),so if you aim for your best(the best you can achieve utilising all your potential) you should be able to leave school with a good cgpa,if you dont leave with a first class you should be able to leave with something close.
All it take is tremendous commitment(doing the extra things just might be the all you need,putting your best in assignments,submitting on time,studying well for your test like its an exam and also preparing well for your exams.

About cancelling your social life,it depends on the kind of person you are,if you feel it's a distraction.then I see no reason why you shouldnt cancel it.
Basicaly it's all about managing your time,scheduling your priorities and not prioritising your schedule

First class is about being smart, putting first things first and doing the extr thing a second class student wont do.

Study your lecturers,understand what they require of you,make friends with those who are ahead of you,learn from them and also study past questions.Also dont try to be independent,work with your class mates,have a good relationship with everyone.pay attention to details.

Even if you dont leave with a first class,you will get something close to it and ultimately improve your transcript

Well for the fact that you brought this issue to this forum is the fact that you having doubts about her already because of her height,so I will advise you just let her be and go for someone else.

We all have what we consider attractive,that a girl has a good character doesnt necessarily mean I have to marry her,she has to be attractive to me,her face,height etc.

We all have individual preferences and personaly for me I cant marry a girl who is taller than me and a girl who is shorter than my shoulder height.

So for me height is a issue.


My2Cent:Op,love entails loving everything about someone,if you are not satisfied with her height then I advise you go for someone else,also have it at the back of your mind that she doesnt have any control over her height,thats likely how she will be.
So think about this so you wont be irritated after marrying her.

Asked a girl out.
She waited three days to say a single word to me.

On the third day she called me out of the class and I felt she was going to say yes.

She gave me the insult of my life infront of my faculty mates,it was a gst course so people were trooping into the lecture room,some stopped to watch the whole drama.
