Gbawe: 100% agree with sending them packing in 2015. Sometimes I wonder if Nigeria is cursed. We appear more like a wretched, good for nothing and fraudulent "giant" always cheating itself. How hard is it, in a nation with over 160 million people, to get a proven achiever and solution provider to be the number one citizen? Apparently Nigeria has a knack of making easy things extremely difficult. That we keep ending up with clueless individuals like GEJ, and all the baggage that comes with them, is beyond the ordinary.

FamilyRe: Guys, Do You Pray To Marry A Woman Like Your Mother? by k2039: 1:03pm On Jun 16, 2013
HotNaijaBabe: Sure! You sound like a good person.

#Hear this, i have this neighbor who has been a close family friend too. Recently, her sister moved in with her...The sister left her husbands house in UK just because he married another woman who moved in with them...She just packed her things and bundled her two kids down to Nigeria...She is jobless as we speak, she can't afford to put her kids(who were both born in UK) in a good school here.
Every time i see her, i just grow angry...why did she leave her home and on top of that, she has denied her children the presence of their father...I can go on and on...( To top everything, the husband has been begging her to come back but she refused) Okay the man is at fault, the wife is angry...but what of the children?
What's your take on this?
[color=#1E90FF] My take.
No disrespect, but they are both incredulously stupi.d.
My reaons:
1. The man was wrong in the first place to have taken another wife.

2. He admitted he is wrong, wants the wife back and the wife who can't cater for her own children is refusing the offer.

The lesson to learn is this:
Every woman should make themself an asset to their husband
So that even if he messes up, he has a lot to lose also.

Finally, like mynd said, ech woman should have her own source income, even if the man insists he wants a full time house wife, she should name her price(allowance).

People change, a good man can suddenly become a beast, as much as we ought to optomistic toward life, we sjould always prepare for whe worst case scenario.

In summary. A woman should be independent, she should have her own life. If my mom didn't have hers, then my life could as well be hell and miserable and for that I thank her. Infact I have to send her a sms, wishing her a happy fathers day, because she was as much a father and mother at the same time

Everyone is superficial and selfish. We all go into relationship for our own benefits.

Maybe I should use the waord 'Most' rather than 'All' before someone tells me all generalisations are wrong.

FamilyRe: Guys, Do You Pray To Marry A Woman Like Your Mother? by k2039: 12:10pm On Jun 16, 2013
HotNaijaBabe: K2309, yes! It is called change.. Striving to be better...to think outside the box.

Our parents are always quick to anger, ego and strive. It's our Mothers that won't hesitate before they pack out of their husbands house ( they don't even think of their children)
Our fathers don't think twice before they sleep with that side-chick, bring other women into their homes, or they even abandon their family totally... hmmmn!

Our generation can do better...we can change this trend.. We can build happy homes.
[color=#1E90FF] Oh Lord I so pray I don't dissapoint my wife.

I dey fear, I sure say most dad saod thesame about being a better generation and most of them stilled flopped(money and power).

The best anybody can get is a spouse who reveres and fears God greatly. Anything short of this, he/she is prone to fall.

greatgod2012: yes, im aint perfect, i have inadequacies, but if each of them can find a woman who can treat them the way im treating their dad now, and who can treat her children the way im treating them now, then, im satisfied. Im not expecting a perfect situation.
May God help us all.
[color=#1E90FF]
That was the reason why I inserted a clause in my post, 'Least requirement'. If at all there is someone better than you, it's better they have her, but if their is none, then they should settle for someone like you.

Shollypopz: That means you lied to her when you said you loved her, what you really wanted was sexx. Now, that she has given it to you, you're making up silly excuses to leave....SMW
[color=#1E90FF]
When I profess to love a girl, it's because I love everything about her including her body features.

It's better for the Op to let her go, than decieve her, their will be someone who will like a girl with a tiny or flat tits.

I don't expect you to love someone you don't consider to be attractive.

My only problem with him, would have been calling it quit after taking her to the altar.

By the way the girl should be confident in herself and stop giving people a wrong impression about her. There is someone who will love her for who she is.

If I were to be in the OP's shoe I would have done thesame.

Imagine you professing to love a guy and later you realise that is joystick is just 2cm long and 10 mm in diameter. Wetin you go do?.

HotNaijaBabe: My dad is a christian and he has ------mistresses and ----- wives.

#Pls feel free to fill in the space with outrageous figures....

******
It's not about religion, race, or whatever..It's choice, morals and self control plus discipline.. Which are all lacking in some men unfortunately.
[color=#1E90FF] My father also profess to be a christian.

Going to church is not what makes you Christ like.

By their fruits you shall know them. A christian is someone who is born again and who by virtue of that has been translated to the new heaven, who now live his life here on earth like he would if he was with God.

Ofcourse, all adulterers shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

My point: When I say a christian, I mean the roman 12 christian.

greatgod2012: I pray that my male children marry someone like me.
May God let it be so...... Amen.
[color=#1E90FF] I disagree.
You should be the least requirment as a wife for them.

Which means if there is someone better, they should have her. Each generation should be better than the previous. Better wives and better mums that should be the progression.

As much as I would like to be a great dad and husband, I want my sons to be even better and greater.
