bstringz:he is a human being with thinking faculty, you should've read what he typed with an objective mind. he has a point with his questions. what if her body was reacting to hunger and remember our bodies work differently and mysteriously. jeez................ |
let me tell you my theory just like me jesus was told a story of how he came mary had a dream that she was impregnated by god, and when she told joseph who must have been drunk he forgot he did the do with mary without protection did not believe her, so joseph was thinking hard on it, and you know how dreams work na(subconscious brouhaha) then he had a dream and remember joseph digs mary. so they had jesus and then they told him that he was the son of a god and that he was a god. so jesus grew up in that mindset going about preaching and stunts (the more you look the less you see style) then he talked about the future, because he had seen some body language among his disciples and from the rumors going around, he put tow and two together then got his deductions. then still with his godly mindset he went to pray, the silence from the "take away this cup from me if its your will" should have given the folk tale away but he had his dignity to protect then he went on and on and on and on until the last when he realized the truth but couldn't do anything about it because he had gone too far, so he kept on with the belief and of course because he would be immortalized by the people he had fed with his myth so. |
pryd:you nailed it case closed! |

raayah:I said and meant most of us women, no doubt there are very good intellectual atheist women, I am not one of them, am not good at debating, so I spoke for people like me. am too occupied with other pressing things to make research on scientific facts, so I am content with my freedom of belief, I only get irritated and use my environment and my limited knowledge of what I read when I was a theist to argue my points when I'm confronted/approached. |
Antiparticle:i told him he's no different from the Muslim extremist called book haram, he stopped in his tracks then left |
YES you've been wondering why it's only male atheist that are openly (some what) debating about religion and the absurdities behind them, but the females just keep quiet and prefer staying in the shadows * fear - it takes guts to make a stand, guts to be different from the usual, imagine a lamb in the midst of tigers. that's scary. I was arguing with a suppose friend one day, and it got to a point when the friend saw he couldn't change my mind he made to beat me, but for shear luck. imagine being in the midst of your family who are so religious,, but when you say otherwise and as a lady, the lady can get bashed, not all of us are strong willed, get emotionally bullied into thinking we won't be able to get settled with a husband and family with such mindsets and etc... * jobs - now not only ladies but guys too. I personally work in an organization that's religiously centered on, of course I have to lie about my atheistic beliefs, or I get fired, but I can't afford to lose my job in this country where its hard to get a job and I have responsibilities. Nigerian jobs usually ask if you're either Christian or muslim. boiko who is ready to answer "neither, am an atheist" or "agnostic" ? we know the answer is pretty obvious. *intellectualism - most of us are not that intellectually sound to debate so we leave the arguments to the professors here ![]() *moral bankruptcy - my experience with a guy I thought I liked, when I told him of my beliefs, he started talking dirty sexual stuffs and even worsen his stupidity by sending his privates snap shots of himself and he was the second of seven people with such attitudes. smh Nigeria is a religious country and from the arguments I see here on the religious thread, most theist are ready to bokolize anybody that thinks outside the box. pastors are ready to preach violence (I have no evidence but if some pastors/MOG are drilling and burning children for witchcraft what will happen to you atheist, a part on the back?) so that their business of making easy and quick money won't be threatened. so for now we prefer staying in the closet until the time comes when the country can be free of bigotism which is in the nearest dreamland time |
kestolove95:I don't mean to, I just couldn't help it. this is a serious issue that involves you and I. and you're commenting "what's my business" when it's not about irrelevant issues like "linda ikeji flies first class jet" |
that's creative punishment I like it. ![]() |
kestolove95:don't be steupid, why commenting then? its unfortunate but the government has the power to control the population. its because of overpopulation that jobs aren't much, its because of overpopulation agriculture is dwindling, hence 500 that was enough to cook a good pot of soup, is only enough to buy red oil and onions if you want to manage we need to stop the mentality that "god go provide" its not helping matters at all. |
tpiander:if I use my ;eft hand to slap your right cheek eh! you will change that pic to African nappy hair. ![]() we need help. |
the way I was taught was * boil some water * pound the uziza leaves (not much o, oyo lo ma wa) until it seems smoothly shredded * pour your desired pepper, crayfish, and iru or ogiri (anyhow) * then pour your hot water (it would've simmered a little so the soup can be hot * salt to taste. and note while doing all those adding's you must be stirring the mixture with your pestle o. mehn I love that soup, maybe I should do it for dinner with correct 3 wraps of fufu. ![]() |
where I come from (delta) my mom taught me about it, in different ways (like 2 different ways ) (me mom's from ezi in delta state)its called oseani in my place. and its quite delicious ![]() |
present *salutes*............... but not intellectual about it though ![]() |

that's nice ![]() |
Mologi:I never thought it in that way.............. but what if its pound wise and penny wiser, like for instance getting a house might cost like $40k or more, so they spent nothing more than $11,000 to get a comfy new home, any other bill like electricity, water etc. won't shake their account . |
