The J-10C is such an excellent aircraft, if only we could channel some of that $6 Billion to China for this Aircraft.

Lurker4Long: You clearly didn't read the book, Erich Remarque's "All Quiet on the Western Front" published in 1929. Its revolutionary depiction of the horrific reality of war, rather than the glamourous, sanitised version was regarded as "left wing, liberal messaging". It is not for nothing that the Nazis regarded it as treasonous, had the book banned and stripped Remarque of his German citizenship, causing him to flee first to Switzerland and ultimately the US. No, I haven't read the book. I saw the movie a couple hours ago on Netflix and my first reaction is, this is an excellent movie!!! I liked that the movie well directed, well acted, no political undertones, no forced political correctness. Just like Topgun Maverick, no forced LGBT characters like we saw in The Woman King. The story telling was on another level, with scenes parallel to some of today's modern trench warfare in Ukraine. Hollywood movies have now taken a tone of self-righteous political classes, none of it is present in this film. The murder scenes are very realistic, and takes the viewer on an emotional ride. I wish African movies are made like this. Like you've said " Its revolutionary depiction of the horrific reality of war". That's what I liked about it. |

Tochex101: Why do you envisage a reduction in violence in the South East by 2023..... Share your thoughts. We would potentially see a political settlement, a lot of the violence we are seeing are politically motivated. These are some of the reasons why I think we would see a reduction in 2023. |

NTSA: I think the current nigerian administration has done well in hardware acquisition They have done really well in equipping the military. The Air Force especially has received a significant facelift, same for the army and the navy a lesser but significant extent has been equipped. However I worry that while the military has received huge upgrades in equipment, personnel protective equipment and weapons have remained the same or declined. There has also been a decrease in the purchase of Nigerian made equipment, unlike in the preceding years. 2023 would be a significant year for the military, elections are coming up with the constant threat of violence. Generally the security situation in Nigeria has been on a steady decline, there was no piracy attack in Nigeria in 2022, Boko-Haram attacks were much lower, Violence in the South South, South West, North Central of Nigeria were much lower. In Kaduna in the North West the Air Force maintained a continuous pursuit of terror elements, in the South East there was an increased spate of violence but that's expected to reduce in 2023. The fact is a well equipped, well motivated military will achieve results. The Nigerian army experience of 2023 proves this. |

kabe1: Earlier in his remarks, Major-General Usman thanked the President for his outstanding support to the Brigade of Guards, citing the approval for the procurement of 400 armoured vehicles, which he said were enough to secure his area of responsibility including the Federal Capital Territory, Nasarawa State and parts of Niger State.
He expressed happiness with the President for the promotion, saying it would spur him to do even better in his assigned responsibilities.
https://www.arise.tv/im-very-difficult-to-satisfy-nigeria-president-buhari-declares/ Some clarification on this report, this purchase refers to an Army wide purchase, not the Guards Brigade alone. It makes no sense for the Nigerian army to purchase 400 armoured vehicles for a force that's based in Abuja and parts of Niger & Nasarawa state. |

ADEGUNWA01: But the dss have better guns than the army like Fn2000, P90, tavor and other super guns, so the dss is better equipped than the army bro. Of course one can't compare the military to the intelligence agencies but the dss is more motivated than the army or the military with their salaries and allowances far better than the army.
Don't forget the military was removed from the police force just like the dss and NIA. So the police first among them all. The DSS is better motivated, they are better paid and have better allowances. Special units of the army also carry nice guns like the Tavor-21, but if it is in terms of salary, allowance the DSS is ahead. With regards to equipment, it's impossible to compare the two. |

RiceProducers: The only time on Russia 's side is that which allows further destruction of their military capability. Ukraine is developing capabilities in long range loitering munitions which combined with Western weapons and Patriot missiles will prove decisive.
There is now intense pressure on military industrial capacity in China, Russia, Iran and South Korea trying to meet Russian requirements for the war. These capacities will start to deplete when these countries factor in their own requirements against Israel, Taiwan and South Korea.
By mid 2023, everything will be be clear about the direction of the war which i believe in a world shaking defeat of Russia and removal or assassination of Putin Ridiculous and Delusional. |

ADEGUNWA01: Pls is the dss/sss more equipped and better paid than the army. I want to know pls someone is arguing that the army is more equipped and well paid than the dss DSS is a Secret Police, not a regular force like the Army or Navy. You cannot compare a Law Enforcement Agency to a military. DSS personnel are better paid than the army. The Army is more equipped, been an army than the DSS which is a Police organization. |

Stormtrooper11: This is a highly commendable move. I'm also glad by the lack of pr . I'm result oriented. In as much that we're are focusing on space technology research and development , we need to prioritize another sector of defence which will win us wars in the next decades. Main Battle Tanks development.
We got only two MBTs in the planet that might reach our requirements and we need to seriously ensure we develop something that fits our geography and defence needs. Nawa oh... So you guys really exist. Results are perfect, but PR is part of the result process. If people don't know what you're doing, how would they know you are achieving results. If the Antelope does not begin to tell it's story, the story of the hunt would always favour the Lion. |
