Denel doesn't have the capacity to build them at this time.

Also military procurement, especially high-end systems are usually guided, unofficially by geopolitics.

The delegation visit is in line with plans by the Armed Forces of Liberia to reactivate its Air Wing. Don't be racist you monumental idiot.

Aero Vodochody engineers carrying a complete overhaul of an Aero Vodochody L-39 FTA which includes avionics upgrade is not the same thing as Cuban military engineers maintaining South-African made military vehicles for your SANDF.

Cry me a river and float on it with your 1 operational ship. grin grin

Cuban military hired to maintain South-African made military vehicles for the South-African military. ... Pathetic, shameful and comical.

Denel can't buy tissue paper, but wants to maintain MI-17. grin grin

Lies,

The SANDF has to hire Cuban military engineers to main South-African military vehicles.

Lies,

MI-17s are always maintained in countries they are deployed or in Europe.

According to Defenceweb publication of 16th November 2022, The South African Navy has only 1 operational ship in service.
