Romance / 5 Texts That Can Kill Your Chances With A Girl by kachysblog(f): 11:12pm On Nov 13, 2014
You meet an amazing woman. You work your magic. She’s liking it, and working hers on you. Sparks fly. You exchange phone numbers…

…and then you never see her again. Why? According to dating expert Nick Savoy, president of Love Systems, a lot of men kill their chances with bad “text game.” Check out the five worst texts that guys send every day:

1. “Hi” / “Hey” / “What’s up?”

Of course it’s OK to say hi, but if that’s all you’ve got, you’ll bore her. All you’re saying is that you’d like to flirt, but you don’t really know how, and you’re expecting her to do all the work.

Boring.

If you really are out of ideas for what to text her, imagine that you already asked how she’s doing, and she said: “I’m awesome! What’s new and exciting with you?” Now start the conversation.

2. “Are you there?” / “Are you ignoring me?” / “Umm, hello?”

Don’t be passive-aggressive or needy.

If she didn’t answer your last text, pretend you never sent it. Wait one day, then text again. If you get crickets, wait two days, text again, and so on.

If she doesn’t respond after a week or two, then her number has “gone cold.” Wait a few weeks, then go with something out of left field. I like “I just met your twin,” but there are a million others.

3. Smiley happy unicorns!

Use a smiley sometimes, if it’s really not clear whether you’re joking. Too many, and you sound like a 12-year old girl.

Winks can make normal texts feel creepy. Many women will feel a difference between “let’s hang out” vs. “let’s hang out wink” It’s OK to be playful and/or sexual. Women often are more comfortable starting to be sexual through text rather than in person. But be sexual on purpose, not because you accidentally used too many winks.

4. “C U L8R ROFLMAO”

Chatspeak was invented when everyone had crappy phones that had to cycle through letters to get to the one you wanted. You don’t still use your crappy phone from 10 years ago, do you? Then why text like you do?

A stray “u” instead of “you” shouldn’t kill your chances, but you’re not tweeting, so write normally. There’s no girl in the world who’ll think “I’m so attracted to this guy because he’s so efficient with character length in text.”

5. “FJHRFHFGOHFOOIFJFOIWPSDLDKRV#BVBVOR#FI”

A long-ass text from a guy she doesn’t know well just looks like gibberish to most women. She doesn’t need to hear your life story spread over five texts. She’ll also wonder why you’re trying so hard.

A long text that goes a bit over into a second message is fine. But don’t send anything longer than two texts, and only do that if she’s writing you long ones back

Celebrities / Kinsmen Throw Water At 2face Idibia For Refusing To Build In His Village by kachysblog(f): 7:25pm On Nov 11, 2014
There is a looming war between the family of Idibia Ije and the Amafu community in Okpokwu LGA of Benue State as the villagers had vowed to hold Tuface and his siblings hostage for refusing to complete his house in the village.
In fact, Tuface’s mum, Mrs. Rose Idibia narrowly escaped death on Thursday night after she was attacked by her husband’s kinsmen for not allowing Tuface to complete his house in the village.
gathered that problem started after Mr. Idibia breathed his last in faraway India and the family invited the four children to inform them of what to do.
It was learnt that one of the conditions given by the Idibia family was for Tuface to build a befitting house where his father would be laid to rest, since he is the star among them.
It was also gathered that the immediate family members pleaded with the children to grade the road leading to Amufu, their home town from Ojapo for easy access during the burial.
Tuface, it was learnt agreed and promised to do as they had demanded.
To keep to his promise, the singer sent in some money and the building project and the upgrading of the road kick started almost immediately.
This development made all residents to go ballistic as several prayers and encomiums were poured on their proud son, Innocent, popularly known as Tuface.
It was gathered that some farmers, whose crops were close to the roads were asked to uproot their crops to enable the project move freely; this they did with all enthusiasm and without grudges.
However, along the line, the projects suddenly stopped, leaving the people, including Tuface’s uncles in the dark.
When Tuface was contacted, he told them he no longer had money to continue the project and that he would continue after his father’s burial.
This irked his kinsmen, who vowed never to lay the deceased to rest until Tuface fulfilled his promise.
Those who were not satisfied with Tuface’s excuse embarked on investigation and discovered that it was his mum, Rose that allegedly stopped him from completing the project.
“The mum told him not to waste his money on any building, that he would not come home anytime to stay there; that his uncles would only take over the house once he completes it”, an indigene who craved anonymity told this reporter.
Several efforts to convince Tuface to continue the project hit the rocks, prompting the people to take the revenge on him and his mum as soon as they returned with the corpse.
observed that as soon as the corpse touched down in Amufu and the widow alighted, youths in the area began to jeer her.
Others were seen throwing stones and sticks at her, calling her all sort of names depicting a wicked person.
Some mockingly called her ‘Obu Michael’ (Michael’s husband) while others said she must pay for the crops they uprooted.
She was sneaked into a room by her colleagues from Cherryfield College, Jikwoyi where she serves as Vice Principal.
Not yet done, when the pal bearers tried to take the casket inside, the youths again revolted that the corpse should be kept outside.
The women in the village also insisted that a hut should be built for the widow, Mrs. Idibia since her husband had no house in the village.
This protest lasted for hours before it was brought under control by elders in the village.
While this lasted, Tuface stayed glued inside his car with two of his kids, Isabella and Olivia, with security men fully on guard as the youths vowed to beat him up for listening to his mum.
When the Priest in charge of St. Camel Catholic Church, Ojapo invited Mrs. Idibia to explain her own side of the story, she blasted her in-laws for being heartless by calling on a child, who is mourning to come and build a house in the village.
According to a visibly angry Mrs. Idibia, who hails from Ogege, Amafu’s next door neighbour, it was unfair that the people were accusing her of stopping her son from building in his own town.
She explained that if she were against the project, she wouldn’t had allowed Tuface to start in the first place.
“Is it not wickedness that you would call on someone who is mourning his father to come and start a building project? When my husband died, they informed my son to come and build ten bed room flat. He accepted and promised to do so, with the hope that a hug amount of money was coming his way. The building project started almost immediately but stopped along the line because of finance. So, when they called to complain that money was no longer coming, I called Tuface and he said because of the Ebola issue, the money he was expecting could not come, that they should hold on till after the burial. But his uncles refused, insisting that the burial would not hold until Tuface completed the house.
“When we finally came home with the corpse on Thursday, they began to boo me. Some wanted to kill me by throwing stones and sticks at me, that I stopped Tuface my son from building in his village”, she explained amidst tears.
The cleric in his reponse told Mrs. Idibia that the people were not wrong for demanding for a house, but that they went too far by jeering and hulling stones at her.
He, however, pleaded with the Idibias to exercise patience until after the burial since the children won’t run away.
Pa. Idibia was finally laid to rest but the community is insisting that Tuface must complete the building or he would remain in the village.
A villager told our reporter that Tuface, the second son of Mr. Idibia, was almost beaten by some youths the last time he came to the village for his grand mother’s burial, for abandoning his people.
It was learnt that Tuface refused to invite any of his star friends because of the humiliation he always faced in his home town.
Only his manager, Efe Omoregbe and few bouncers came for the burial.
However, a Rev. Father, who would not want his name in print, lambasted the Amufu community for being so wicked by forcing a man to build a house.
“I have never seen where someone is being forced to build a house in his village. Do they know his statement of account? Is it because Tuface is popular? Is he a politician, why are they forcing him to grade the community road? Is he the local government chairman? They better stop this nonsense. This kind of culture is total rubish and must be stopped”, he warned.
Another resident flayed Tuface for listening to his mum by not completing the projects.
“See, let the truth be told, I am ashamed. Imagine Tubaba of all people facing this kind of humiliation. How much will it cost him to build a house here in the village? I am sure he has houses outside the state. That to me is not fair. Go to Otukpa and see the mansion TerryG built there. His parents are not in the village but he did so in case of tomorrow.
“You can see that the shame could not allow him bring his friends to the village. May God help him”, the resident who also pleaded anonymity told DailyPost in Okpoga.

Entertainment / Sean Tizzle Accused Of Stealing 'perfect Gentleman' Song by kachysblog(f): 6:20am On Nov 11, 2014
A singer by the name of Portah claims that pop act Sean Tizzle stole a chorus of his that was used in his hit song 'Perfect Gentleman'. Portah who is an Ibadan based act has come out to say he is the composer of the 'Perfect Gentleman' hook, but was not informed by Sean Tizzle or D'Tunes.

The upcoming act made this claim during an exclusive interview with THE NET. In the story, Portah recollects how he met D'Tunes in STAR FM in Ibadan when the producer and Sean Tizzle were making promo rounds for their hit single 'Sho Le'. According to Portah, D'Tunes recognized him as one of his BBM acquaintances in the past. After catching up with the budding singer, D'Tunes promised the Lead City undergraduate that he was going to sign him.
On January 2, 2014, D'Tunes called up Portah, told him to come to his studio and bring his songs along. The songs were 21 in total. On getting to the studio D'Tunes copied Portah's song from the two CDs he bought to his system. In Portah's narration of events, D'Tunes revealed to him that a friend of his based in the UK was interested in signing him, but wanted to use the producer as the front for the label. D'Tunes further told him that when his friend from the UK comes to Nigeria in a few months, the record deal will be made.

The producer later asked him if he was interested in writing for Sean Tizzle, and Portah said yes. Nothing however materialized from that because according to him D'Tunes didn't pick his calls or answer his texts after that day in the studio.

The upcoming singer said he was unaware his chorus was used in Sean Tizzle's 'Perfect Gentleman' until a friend of his sang the hook and told him it was off the pop act's debut album. Portah downloaded the song and found out it was true.

Portah claims that he reached out to D'Tunes afterwards, but the award winning producer said that he did not jack his chorus.

A representative of D'Tunes' label Difference Entertainment, Johnson has reacted to the allegations. "The guy is fabricating all these, because the song ‘Perfect Gentleman’ was done with me and a lot of other people in the studio" he stated.

'Perfect Gentleman' is the seventh single off Sean Tizzle's debut album The Journey.

This is not the first time Sean Tizzle has been involved in a song jacking scandal. His breakout single 'Sho Le' in 2012 was written by Sound Sultan. The young pop act however didn't credit his former boss. Sound Sultan threatened legal action, but the issue was settled out of court. Despite the success of 'Sho Le', the single didn't feature on The Journey despite being one of the hottest songs of 2012.

Nairaland / General / Pic: Man Arrested With Cocaine Concealed In Women Shoes by kachysblog(f): 6:42am On Nov 10, 2014
A 27 year old man named Mama Solomon (pictured left) was arrested recently by officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA at the Murtala Mohammed airport after cocaine was found concealed inside the female shoes he brought in from Brazil.
Parading the suspect before newsmen, the NDLEA commander at MMIA Lagos, Hamza Umar, said the cocaine was found in the luggage compartment of an Etihad Airline flight from Brazil to Nigeria.

“The suspect claimed to be a shoe merchant, however, during interrogation it was revealed that he only used the shoes as a way of concealing cocaine. He had two bags containing female shoes and hand bags. The drug was discovered in the soles of the female shoes and he was immediately arrested,” he said. The NDLEA spokesman said when interrogated, the suspect claimed he was given the bag of shoes by some friends in Brazil who promised to pay him handsomely if he successfully trafficks the drug
“I live and work in Brazil. I was given the drug with a promise that I will be handsomely rewarded if I successfully deliver the bag in Nigeria. They also assured me that somebody will help me in collecting the bags at the airport in Nigeria. Unfortunately, officers demanded to search my bag and in the process, the cocaine was found in my bag,” the suspect told the NDLEA

Nairaland / General / 8 Unbelievable Sex Injuries That Sent People To The Hospital by kachysblog(f): 4:52am On Nov 10, 2014
Some people have had awkward experiences, sex accidents, which landed them in the hospital.

Sex is fun, we love it.
But, believe it or not, sex has proven to be a dangerous adventure for many people.
In fact, some people have had awkward experiences — I chose to call it 'sex accidents', which landed them in the hospital.
Some of these accidents may be as ordinary as bruises or cramps or as life threatening as serious needing surgery to remove a broken Love Machine from a man's buttocks.
These sex 'accidents', most of which were culled from a METRO article, will leave you bewildered, amused and scared all at the same time.

Here you go.

1. In a case of anal sex gone wrong, a man had to undergo surgery after his his girlfriend's strap-on Love Machine broke during sex, leaving half of it stuck up in his anus.

2. A woman in Seattle was hospitalised after suffering from a three hour orgasm. At least she had one.

3. A woman in China was left deaf for two months from kissing. The act of sucking face ‘reduced the pressure in the mouth, pulled the eardrum out and caused the breakdown of the ear’ reported China Daily.

4. More embarrassing than painful, a Couple got stuck together having sex in the sea when the suction caused a vacuum and the guy got stuck inside the honeypot.

5. A man was admitted to hospital complaining of rectal pain. It turns out that the poured liquid cement he poured into his anus has solidified.

6. In a desperate act of solo sex, a man stuck a light bulb into his manhole. Unfortunately the bulb broke leaving tiny shards of glass in his ***. He nearly died.

7. A Malaysian man decided his peen wasn’t big enough and decided to stretch it with a welding nut and tried to stretch it. Unfortunately, he got stuck. Doctors had to remove the top layer of peen skin to free it.

8. A couple in America decided to ramp up their vibrator by attaching it to a power tool. An electric saw. Yep, it turned out to be a bad idea – the woman had her bits cut open and had to be rushed to the ER. Thankfully she recovered, and has likely never tried that again.

More than once, women have had to be operated upon to have condoms removed. Obviously, the thing slipped off during sex.
