Miatha:well, it's true that they're on strike but they met last Friday. . .the resolution of that meeting is still awaited. Miatha:It should be. Miatha:Med.&Surg. |
Faithte:You stand a good chance. |
Faithte:You stand a good chance. |
Faithte:Which course did you apply for?? |
Nsiman:You are very much welcome tonexijey:well well well, It,s obvious that you're enjoying your vacation. But over here, I'm getting tired of books. Miatha:Yes. 2nd semester results are out for most departments. Miatha:alright Miatha:well, your cousin has to exercise a great amount of patience here. I'm typing this is school right now, and I haven't seen any sign of the list anywhere. And moreover, Supplementary list in Uniuyo has a tradition of being released after the new session has kicked off. I can still remember when I had admission, even though I had the highest score for my dept, my name wasn't out. I had to complain to the admission unit and they promised that my name would be out in supplementary list that year. It took them about 4months to release that list. So pls pls, tell your cousin to hope for the list, but at the same time, let him/her buy the utme form. Just an advice. Mattex001:what makes you think so?? I believe UNIUYO has one of the most lenient academic calendar so far. We started 1st semester, mid-april. It was 13weeks. . .we ended August. Went for a 3-week break and resumed 2nd semester ending-September. 2nd semester lasted for 9weeks and we closed 24th December. Presently we're on vacation. Now I can guess why you're thinking along this line. There's what we call "summer" over here. It lasts for 6weeks after 2nd semester. It is done to enable those that failed courses in the 1st and/or 2nd semester to remedy them. Especially those about to go for NYSC. Just be patient. When you start, you'd be praying for time tonexijey:i hope Mattex has read this. |
gershal:Good. I'll start the enquiry with that. gershal:Be specific pls. Part-time program for degree? |
Nsiman:Typographical errors in Certificate/Result are traditionally overlooked. What won't be overlooked would be a change of name different from that used in gaining admission gershal:I'd like to make enquires for you on this. But you have to help me first. what other qualifications do you have, no matter how insignificant it may seem ? Miatha:First Semester results is currently being released. For e.g my department pasted our Calculus result yesterday. . .and I'm tempted to say I had an "A". So, which is your department ? |

Well , well, well. The Vice chancellor is not the Senate of the University which is the highest policy-making body of the University. So March still stands as March. I think the porters in Boys' hostel do permit some new students to patch while doin their screening. I'v never tried it before but I've heard some news bout it. |
^^ If you can pls do. I missed an admission to study Medicine just cos there was no money around. I still got another one sha. Do't let ha brain waste provided you're doing it for the right reasons. And please, that you paid her fees isn't a guarantee that she'd marry you. By the way, have you spoke with her parents yet? |
Greatdesi:MATERIALS REQUIRED FOR SCREENING *¤Evidence of payment of Acceptance Fees(Teller or Receipt) ; *¤WASSCE/NECO Certificate or Statement of Result ; *¤Original UTME Result ; *¤UNIUYO Post-UTME Result ; *¤Recommendation Letter addressed to the Registrar<not from you> ; *¤Birth Certificate ; and *¤Certificate of Origin |
No Medics on Nairaland?? |
Jenifa_:I knew it would come to this, that's why I used the word ''loose'' in between inverted commas. This represents a metaphorical meaning and not a literal meaning as your perspective projects. |
Jenifa_:I interpreted it based on the Nigerian context of sexuality as compared to the sexuality of other races without finger-pointing at any race in particular. Female sexuality is stricto-senso deemed 'loose' in this part of the globe, if it is described as ''expressive'' or ''less frigid''. Howbeit, I know quite well that racial denominations (aa or not) plays no significant role in morality( it's an everlasting question of choice.) hope this explains it. |
misanho:Is this how you think? Or just one of your lucky days? misanho:Knowledge is power |
Jenifa_:please, you just have to spot a causal explanation from recommendation. The OP was seeking an explanation as to why some Nigerian men find some akatas attractive. I did just that. I never recommended the seemingly 'loose' attitude that characterizes any race whatsoever. Personally, I don't involve myself with anybody with loose morals. And I appreciate most of our African sisters for this. |
Aha! ^^I smell 'trouble' around. |
queensmith:, queensmith:Yeah, that's true. Wouldn't settle for less. . .why would I be useful to such?? queensmith:lol |
Mrs.Chima:Good point. But can I beg to differ? Common ancestry does not necessary denote similiarity in expression and pattern of behaviours. Using a typical Nigerian scenerio, the expression of sexuality (especially in females) in its context is quite different , and to a large extent limited than that of their Akata counterpart. So it's a question of the environment of concern, and not necessarily ancestry. Based on this, it is quite obvious that the Akata women have a more liberal expression of their sexuality than their Nigerian counterparts. Cause to this is the liberal nature of their society unlike the Nigerian society where women are bound by 'virtual regulations' . Some Nigerian men find 'liberality of expression' in women as a compelling trait for reasons best known to male sexuality- of which the Nigerian society clearly inhibits. By the way, if African sisters are similar to their Jamo and Akata peeps (according to you), why wouldn't Nigerian men find them as attractive as well ? |
You sure must be deriving some relatively enormous pleasurable bliss from some ego-stroking tradition. ^^hope it lasts you all the way.lol |

What lapses?? The process was as transparent as it could be. We all saw it. Atiku was there - He saw it too. Why didn't Atiku say his grievances at Eagles square? Or rather still demonstrate it? Atiku obviously appeared to be satisfied with the process. Now he's ranting hell. We don't need desperate and dishonest leaders. At least not now. |

Electrical/Electronics Engineering(Power) They've been talks of privatizing power in Nigeria recently. If it works out, then Elect/Elect would be hot. Lemme leave it at that. |
You're welcome. ~anyday. |
Inasmuch as I'd try to lend help to your seemingly confused state, it would be useless if I do not ask some questions as it would form the basis of whatever would come afterward: ¤*why is university education so important to you? Is it for moneY? Or the ego of having a higher 'educated status' ? ¤*Is this N50, 000/monthly salary something you can't do without? Are you set on sponsoring yourself? By this I mean, do you have any other financial support you can always run to without being disappointed apart from your current job for your school fees, feeding etc? Are you sponsoring else apart from yourself, say your siblings? ¤* have you had the admission yet? Or you are trying to get it? |
Mattex001:Are you by any means refering to one-room apartment-?? If yes, then a room goes for N60, 000 for 2 years around UniUyo. This is a relative amount and is subject to variation based on the location. Nsiman:There is no problem whatsoever with that. Provided your 2-sittings would provide the required 5 credits in the required O' level subjects. |

months, including first Semester break. The only and main problem, is that, after the second semester, the school will now start summer program (for 2 months), which is actually for final year student that just graduated, but happen to fail some course, it's an opportunity for them to rewrite the courses that they fail, instead of coming for extral year.
