If you are coming to England, the 7 year old will be in year 3 in September after clocking 7, 11 year old will be in year 7 ( 1st year in high school). Your last child can't start school until he/she is 4 year old. The governmentwill give you 15hrs free nursery once your baby is 3 year old though.

Regarding timing, it is usually better to enrol them in September when the session starts. However, you can still bring them in January. You might not be able to get them into your desired school due to

oversubscription. I will advise you start looking at
schools now and plan where you will live based on that.

What class your kids are in Nigeria or any other country will be irrelevant here.... class in the UK is based on age and its followed to the dot. They all be put in the class that their age is meant to be. There an online calculator were you can put the date of birth and it would show you the class ( laziness to find it so check google)

2. Because the kids are different sex with one older than 10yrs then its most likely at least 3 bed needed

I assume you are coming from the US so if you give an indication of the equivalent class in Nigeria people will understand better. In England classes are allocated based on age of the child so for example, the 7 year old (If he was born before September) will be in Year 3.

Apply and be completely honest about your previous history and make sure all your documents now are genuine . I cant tell you here if you will be given or not. Just be honest. Good luck

Thank you guys for your responses earlier again regarding Sheffield Hallam University.

We paid the tuition fee deposit via bank transfer from the UK on Friday, Sept 17 and we got a mail with reference number however we are yet to get an email confirming the payment of the deposit.

I put a call through to the Nigerian office and I was told they do not have access to see anything regarding payment and to wait for an email from finance or so. This is Tuesday and no emails yet. I have also tried to call the International Office and it keeps going into voicemail.

How long did it take from the date of payment to the date you got the confirmation of payment email? Is there any specific email I can send the reference number I got to?

I just had a conversation with a colleague who applied for UK tier 4 dependant visa but was denied. He declared he has someone in the UK other than his wife the main applicant (his younger sister who's married to a UK citizen) and then many question ensued from there during his interview. To cut long story short he was denied on grounds that they don't think he has any intentions to leave the UK upon expiration of the wife's visa.
From this what I will advise is, if you declare you know someone other than the main applicant (talking of dependant applicants under tier 4), be ready to face questions that ensue afterwards as well as the consequences. On the other hand if you fail to declare you have a relative other than the main applicant, the issue is you might be caught and banned (that is if there's any way they will find out) but if you have never declared your relative in the UK in any application to the UK before, you know you won't be staying with them or relying on them for anything, and you know you don't have the requisite informations about them as per income, and the rest, just say NO. My two cents.

Type in students jobs in Sheffield in Google and see for yourself.

count 7weeks and some days from the time you got the notification that they have received your application, that is when you will get a reply from them

gbemileke14: @Kaffy055,attached is the bill I got from them. Though, with slight difference. I no dey search again ooo, I don't reach last busstop . I have checked 5 other hospitals and this is the best. Trinitas hosp is taking 6000, Beth Isreal is taking 7500, Overlook is taking 5500, UMDNJ is taking 7500. All hospital fees alone. And doctors fees averagely is like 2500-4000.

The doctor I contacted, Dr Peace Nyota charges 3600 for prenatal checks and delivery. No paediatrician, no epidural. pls which doctor are you using maybe the price might be better. Or is it that this bill you got is just for the doctor that takes the delivery alone no prenatal checks ,paediatrician at birth, epidural and hospital bill. Pls, clarify so I can benefit from this reduced cost. .

If you stated one month ago that you are not employed then i guess you should still say same because one month is a short time to make a decision to start a business which is already yielding some returns in your account. I my own opinion just leave it like that.
Since your husband is sponsoring, go with his statement and yours too. If it was on the reason of strong ties you were refused initially,believe me, leaving your husband and your daughter behind (especially your daughter), is enough STRONG TIE. My first appearance at the US embassy, my baby was 4 months old, i was giving a visa but my baby wasn't, (they used her as my STRONG TIE to return to my country, since i said i was only going for a 4 days conference).

So focus on getting all hospital documents (don't know if it's ok to say avoid MIHS and elpaso, though me, i am leaving for MIHS in 2 days time sha, lol!), make sure the statement is BEAUTIFUL enough (them like money), be confident, dress smart and pray for God's favour.

kaffy055: Am new on dis forum and have been following the trend,through this forum have gotten the hospital I want to use in NJ and av gotten the doctors appointment and their bills sent to me.av also gotten all the neccessary document to take to the embassy but where the problem is,that I applied last month wit my husband and my daughter that we were going for vacation,which we were denieled based on not having a strong tie to our country.when we applied den I stated then dat am not employed at d moment but now I want to apply alone on the ground that I want to go and av my baby ,but I want to state it that am doing business which is selling of cloth but I don't have a shop.thou is my husband that is sponsoring the trip but I have my own statement which I will be attaching to it to show I av monthly income dat goes into the account.or should I leave it as not employed as I filled it bfor cos is just a month now dat I applied for d first one .pls I need ur advise urgently bfor I submit the form
